K1-788 - Glücks-Mandala

Heute ist es hier mit fast 40°Cnochmal fast unerträglich heiß, und es geht ein heißer Wind, der laut den Meteorologen direkt aus der Sahara kommt... 

Ich bin viel drin geblieben, konnt mich aber nicht wirklich aufraffen, richtig kreativ zu werden... hab aber immerhin versucht, mal wieder etwas Ordnung in meinen Bastelbereich zu bekommen. Hab eine Kiste mit halbfertigen Karten und selbstgestalteten Hintergründen "gefunden" (ich denke, diese Kisten kennen die meisten von euch auch...) und entschieden, hier mal einiges in fertige Karten umzuwandeln!

Today we have temperatures around 40°C again (= 104°F / 313 K) it's HOT and we have also a hot wind, meteorogists told, it's coming directly from the Sahara Desert...

I stayed inside a lot, but wasn't really motivated to get crafty... but I tried to re-organize my space a bit and "found" some half finished cards and selfmade background papers (I think, most of us have such a box...) and I decided make some finished cards with some of these goodies!

Translation of the German sentiment "Viel Glück" = "Good luck".

The Mandala is heat embossed in white on white cardstock, then coloured with Copic Ciao Markers and Distress Inks. The sentiment is stamped on another piece of cardstock, punched out and the edge is coloured in black for a better contrast to the Mandala.
The panel is adhered flat on the black cardbase and the sentiment circle with 3D Tape. To finish the card I added some sequins.
On the inside I added a white paper for a personal message.

K1-454 - Schmetterlings-Glück

Ich hab's nochmal gemacht und gestanztes Moosgummi als Stempel benutzt!
Diesmal hab ich Schmetterlinge in zwei Größen für die Two-Step-Technik gemacht.
Die "gefüllten" Stempel sind mit weißer Pigment-Tinte gestempelt und die filigranen Stempel mit Neonfarben in einem Farbverlauf gelb-orange-rot. Nach dem Stempeln hab ich den kleinen, filigranen "Stempel" geschrumpft und ihn zusammen mit etwas Vellum als Blickfang zwischen den gestempelten Schmetterlingen platziert. Der Banner ist mit unterschiedlich dicken 3D-Pads leicht wellenförmig aufgeklet.

I did it again and used die-cut FunFoam as stamps!
This time I've created Butterfly-Two-Step-Stamps in two sizes.
The solids I stamped with white pigment ink, the delicates with ombré-blending neon-colors in yellow-orange-red. After done this I shrunk the small delicate "stamp" and adhered it onto some vellum as an eye-catcher between the stamped butterflies. The sentiment-Banner with "Viel Glück" (= good luck) is adhered with 3D-Pads in two different sizes in a wavy way.
