Ich hab für die Online Card Class - "Crushing on Cardstock" zum Video von Cathy Zielske am Tag 1 mehrere Karten mit Embossing Foldern gestaltet.
Für die Karte Nummer drei habe ich den selben Embossing Folder nochmal verwendet - mit völlig anderem Ergebnis!

I made several cards with embossing folders for the Online Card Class - Crushing on Cardstock" after I saw the video from Cathy Zielske on Day1.
For this card number three I used the same Embossing Folder as for the second one, but with a totally different result!

The translation of the German sentiment on the front "Ups - zu spät" = "Oups - too late" and on the inside "Alles Gute - nachträglich" = "best wishes - subsequently".

Hier kommt Nummer zwei!

I made several cards with embossing folders for the Online Card Class - Crushing on Cardstock" after I saw the video from Cathy Zielske on Day1.
This one is number two!

It's a bithday cad with some parts of sentiments.

The German sentiment "Potzblitz!" is a shout out to show astonishment, surprise and amazement. Think you can translate it with something like "what a surprise!" "Omg!"
"Wie die Zeit vergeht" = "How time goes by".
And on the inside "Schon wieder ein Jahr vorbei" = "One more year passed".

Diesmal gibt's was zu feiern!
Zum Beispiel den Abschluß vom Schuljahr! Hier in Brandenburg haben wir nur noch 2,5 Wochen Schule - am 19.06. gibt's Zeugnisse und dann heißt es "Ab in die Ferien!"!!!

Schon auf dem Umschlag sitzt ein fröhlicher kleiner Frosch, auf der Karte schreit er dann ganz begeistert laut "Hurra" und klimpert mit seinen Wackelaugen!
Im Inneren der Karte hab ich noch ein "Gratulation" gestempelt.

Today we can celebrate!
For example the graduation at the end of the school year! Here in our Federal State (Brandenburg) we have only 2,5 weeks left - we will have school-report day and start of the summer vacations on 19.06.!!!
  On the envelope there is a happy little frog, it shouts a enthusiastic and loud "Hurra" (= "Hooray") and it's blinking with its googly eyes!
On the inside of the card I stamped "Gratulation" (= "congratulations")

Über die Karte:
Für die Kartenvorderseite hab ich zwei DieCuts mit Nellie Snellen Stanzen hergestellt. Das Drahtgeflecht hab ich anschließend mit EmbossingPulver umrandet, um jede Art von Verletzungsgefahr zu verhindern. Ich hab die Teile zusammengefügt und den Baum mit Strass-Steinen und einem HotFix Stern dekoriert. An der unteren Kante der Karte hab ich einen Streifen WashiTape aufgeklebt.
Im Karteninneren hab ich dann meinen Text in schwarz und gold gestempelt.
An der unteren Kante hab ich erneut WashiTape verwendet, um das Design der Vorderseite fortzusetzen.

About this card:
For the front of the card I used two DieCuts from Nellie Snellen. The Wire Mesh I surrounded with a thin layer of Embossing Powder to avoid any risk of injury. I adhered the pieces together, decorated the tree with rhinestones and the HotFix Star and added a strip of WashiTape at the bottom edge.
On top of the  inside I stamped the sentiment in black and gold.
On the bottom I repeated the strip of WashiTape to continue the design of the outside.

Hey! Welcome to the reminder-post for the Uniko July/August 2018 Challenge!

Our current Challenge is a great combination of a sentiment from A.A. Milne: "It's so much more friendly with two." combined with a cute photo. There are many options to be inspired - the colours, the bugs and the young plant.

If you need an extra-inspiration, you may use the optional twist "for a child" - you don't have to use it, but we are excited what you might create for the little people in your life!

About this card:

I created a sunflower with my Uniko Mehndi Mandala Stencil and placed it "outside" of a "window".

First I dry embossed the stencil with an extra silicone shim into a piece of vellum. Then I coloured the embossed areas with my Stabilo Markers from the backside, just to avoid any smearing, cause on vellum some markers aren't always as dry as you think they should be...

After fixing the vellum between two layers of frame die-cuts I created with the Stax dies, I added one final "unframed" layer on the bottom, just to avoid to see the green cardbase through the vellum. Then I glued this stack on my cardbase.

With the big sunflower and the die cut  word summer, the front of my card was busy enough, so I decided to add the sentiment on the iside of the card.

In my card the number two is involved several times - although I havn't used a bug stamp:

2 different kind of papers (cardstock and vellum),

2 Uniko products (Mehndi Mandala Stencil & Spring Botanicals - Daffodil Stamp-Set)

2 dies (stitched square and the word summer),

2 times the word-die & 2 stitching lines on the frame-die,

2 ways I used the stencil (dry embossing and colouring),

2 shades of every colour (yellow, orange, green),

2 places with crafting (outside and inside of the card),

2 linings for the sentiment on the inside (black & white)

K1-833 - Geburtstags-Monster

In der nächsten Zeit brauche ich gleich mehrere Karten für erste Geburtstage... (wir feiern kommende Woche auch mit unserem kleinen Milo).
Die erste geht an den kleinen Sohn einer Freundin, die ich schon seit 14,5 Jahren kenne, aus der Zeit, als mein großer Sohn geboren wurde... Damals teilten wir "nur" das Hobby Brettspiele, seit einigen Jahren basteln wir auch beide (und spielen immer noch!) und seit vergangenem Jahr haben wir beide unsere kleinen Zwerge  - leider wohnen wir viel zu weit auseinander...

I need several first birthday cards in the upcoming time... (we celebrate with little Milo next week too).
The first one is for the little son of a friend I now know for 14,5 years, that was the time my oldest son was born... At that time we "only" shared the interest for playing boardgames together, for several years we're both crafters and cardmakers (and we still play games!) and last year we both got our little ones - but sadly we live too far away from each other...

Über die Karte:

Die meisten kleinen Kinder lieben kräftige, bunte Farben. Die Karte muss sicher sein, ohne irgendwelche abfallenden Kleinteile, für den Fall, dass der Empfänger sie mal selbst in seine kleinen Hände nimmt! (Perfekt wäre eine One-Layer-Karte gewesen - aber der Einfall kam mir ein wenig zu spät...)
Diesen Monat gibt es bei Gerda Steiner dieses süße Monster für die MPC Monats-Challenge. Mit der einen Kerze auf dem kleinen Kuchen passt sie doch perfekt für diesen Anlaß, oder?

About this card:

Most little kids love intense and bright colors. The card needed to be safe - without any little pieces falling off when the recipient himself has it in his little hands! (A one layer card would be perfect, but this idea I got too late...)
This month Gerda Steiner has this cute little monster as digistamp for the MCP monthly challenge. With this one candle on top of the little cake it fits perfect for my project, right?

Da ich bei einigen der vorgestellten Techniken noch jede Mengen Ideen habe (aber wie immer nicht genug Zeit um alle sofort umzusetzen), werdet ihr wohl auch nach dem offiziellen Ende noch viele Karten mit Glitter & Schimmer zu sehen bekommen! ;-)

The Online Card Classes - Sparkle & Shine comes to its end. I still have lots of ideas for some of the shown techniques (but always not enough time to realize them immediatelly), so I'll show you many more  cards with sparcle and shine after the official end! ;-)

Über die Karte:

Diesmal habe ich weißen und gelben Cardstock gestanzt und anschließend mit Heat & Stick Powder und Dazzling Diamonds Glitter in Glitzerpapier verwandelt.
Für eine noch tollere optische Wirkung (und auch, damit der Glitter nicht nach und nach abbröselt!) habe ich noch zwei Schichten Glossy Accents aufgetragen.  

About this card:

This time I die-cut yellow and white cardstock and then turned it into Glitterpaper with the help of Heat & Stick Powder and Dazzling Diamonds Glitter.
For a more impressive optical effect (and to avoid the fall-off of glitter) I added two layers of Glossy Accents to it.
