Diese Babykarte hab ich schon vor einer Weile gebastelt, aber bisher noch keine Gelegenheit gehabt, sie hier zu zeigen!

Wenn möglich, integriere ich gerne den Namen des Babies in das Karten-Design. 
Entweder nur mit Buchstaben oder, wenn die Bedeutung es ermöglicht, auch mit grafischen Elementen.
So wie in diesem Fall!
Melina kommt aus dem Griechischen und bedeutet "die Honigsüße" (laut einer Seite für Namens-Bedeutung). Da lag die Verwendung von Bienenstock, Bienen und Honiggelb nahe!

When it's possible, I try to integrate the name of newborns into the design of baby cards.
Either only with letters or when the meaning makes it possible also with graphic elements.
So I did in this card!
Melina is a Greek name and means "honeyed" (told me a page for meaning of names). So the use of beehive, bees and honey yellow was obvious!

Eine weitere zweite Karte mit Folie der "Online Card Classes - Holiday Card Workshop 2022" .

Die Grundidee zu dieser Karte stammt auch vom "Tag 8 - Foiling".
An diesem Tag waren Yana Smakula und Gina Krupsky die beiden Tutoren.

Einer der Hauptgründe für diese zweite Karte waren die Reste der ersten Karte - die goldenen Fenster brauchten eine neue Bleibe! ;-)

K1-1643 - Weihnachten in Bethlehem

Hier kommt meine erste Weihnachtskarte mit Folien-Effekt der "Online Card Classes - Holiday Card Workshop 2022" .

Die Grundidee zu dieser Karte stammt vom "Tag 8 - Foiling".
An diesem Tag waren Yana Smakula und Gina Krupsky die beiden Tutoren.

Gleich vorneweg: Ich besitze aktuell noch keinerlei Geräte oder Hilfsmittel (wie zB Transfer Gel) für diese Technik. Das einzige, was ich habe, sind einigen Folien, die bei einem Basteleinkauf mal mit in den Korb gewandert sind, da die Info drauf stand, dass man sie ganz einfach benutzen könnte...
Meine ersten Versuche damit waren so, dass ich zuerst dachte, da sei nichts mehr zu retten! Dazu aber später noch mehr.

Da ich nun aber schon gedanklich auf 'Karte mit Foiling' eingestellt war, habe ich nach Alternativen gesucht und mich dann für gekauftes Papier mit Folien-Effekten entschieden.
Es sind dann gleich zwei Karten damit entstanden.

Here is the first foil-based Christmas card I made for the "Online Card Classes - Holiday Card Workshop 2022".

The idea for this card is based on "Day 8 - Foiling".

First I have to announce: right now I don't have any foiling machines or other supplies for this technique (like Transfer Gel). Except some sheets of foil I bought once in a crafting store cause I got the information, it's easy to use...
My first try ended in the belief, that was a lost action and nothing of it can be used! But more about these tries later.

But now I was in the mood of 'card with foiling' and so I was searching for an alternative way to use foil I ended up with using bought papers with foiling effects. 
I made two cards with them.

Im Inneren der Karte ist noch ein "mr isch bloß oimol jong" gestempelt. Übersetzung für alle nicht-Schwaben = "Man ist nur einmal jung".

Sometimes you need a glass of whine, shout out a loud "Cheers!" and a "On you - Stay as you are!"
On the inside I stamped an additional dialectic sentiment with the translation "You are only young once".

Ich hab für die Online Card Class - "Crushing on Cardstock" zum Video von Cathy Zielske am Tag 1 mehrere Karten mit Embossing Foldern gestaltet.
Hier kommt Nummer zwei!

I made several cards with embossing folders for the Online Card Class - Crushing on Cardstock" after I saw the video from Cathy Zielske on Day1.
This one is number two!

It's a bithday cad with some parts of sentiments.

The German sentiment "Potzblitz!" is a shout out to show astonishment, surprise and amazement. Think you can translate it with something like "what a surprise!" "Omg!"
"Wie die Zeit vergeht" = "How time goes by".
And on the inside "Schon wieder ein Jahr vorbei" = "One more year passed".

On Day 1 of the Online Card Class - "Crushing on Cardstock" Caly Person used paper-weaving for her cards. - I used the more simple way of weaving, but with some secial papers.
