K1-787 - großartige Festtage

Vor etwa einem Jahr hab ich bei einer Bastelmaterial-Bestellung ein Päckchen mit süßen kleinen Holz-Häschen geschenkt bekommen. Damals kam ich leider nicht mehr dazu, etwas mit ihnen zu machen...
Jetzt ist die Karnevals-Zeit um und es ist an der Zeit, einige Oster-Karten zu machen!
Als mit beim Aufräumen letzte Woche die kleinen Kerlchen zwischen die Finger kamen, hab ich sie gleich auf meinem Basteltisch platziert (damit ich sie nicht noch vergesse!). Und wie ein gutes Omen fragten nun Addicted to CAS in ihrer Challenge #105 nach Holz. :-) Klar, dass ich daran teilnehme!
Die restliche Farbgestaltung kam von der Global Design Project #76 Case the Designer-Challenge.
Bei Creative with Stamps #12 Ester passt das Thema mit den Hasen ja eh perfect.
Und bei einer Alles Geht-Challenge, wie sie gerade bei Addicted to Stamps & More #231 sowieso.

About one year ago I got a package of cute little wooden easter-bunnies as gift to on craft-supplies-order. But I couldn't find time to craft with them...
Carnival-time is over now and it's time to make some easter-cards! When I cleaned up last week I re-found them and put the little guys directly onto my table (to stay focused on them!). And like a good omen, Addicted to CAS asked in their challenge #105 for wood. :-) Sure I take part there with them!
The color-combination I took from the Global Design Project #76 Case the Designer-Challenge.
Creative with Stamps #12 Ester fits perfect with the rabbits.
And for an Anything Goes-Challenge like the one at Addicted to Stamps & More #231 for sure too.

Heute gibt's noch eine etwas lustigere Osterkarte für euch...
Wär das nicht fein, wenn die Hühner gleich bunte Eier legen könnten?
Für die beiden Gockel am Boden scheint das ebenfalls eine große Frage zu sein... so bedröppelt wie sie dreinschauen. ;-)

Ideen zur Karte:
Zuerst war da der gold-glitzernde Maschendraht... 
Dann kamen die Hühner auf die Stange und die beiden Gockel darunter.. Damit die Eier auch weich landen, hab ich den Stallboden mit Stroh-Schnipseln (Bast) ausgelegt.
Und zum Schluß noch den Ostergruß zugefügt.

Ideas behind the card:
In the beginning there was this gold-twinkling chicken-wire...
Then the chicks were set onto their roost and the cocks beneath... To let the eggs soft-land I adhered some straw (bast) onto the bottom.
I finished the card with a Easter-sentiment (translation: Happy Easter)

Ihr kennt ja alle diese edlen Schoko-Hasen in der Goldfolie, mit dem roten Band um den Hals und dem Glöckchen dran.... 

Solch ein Schmachofatz hat mich inspiriert, mal eine eher edle Osterkarte ohne viel Brimborium zu gestalten.

I'm not sure if these delicious Easter-chocolate-rabbits wraped into gold-foile with a small bell on a red ribbon around their necks are known all around the world... (they are produced from Lindt, see the rabbits here). 

Such a yummy critter inspired me to make a precious Easter-card without lots of embellishments.

K1-604 - Oster-Wuschel-Küken

Ich bin mit meiner Karte für die Task for Two Tuesday Challenge mal wieder erst auf den allerletzten Drücker fertig geworden... 
Die Idee dazu hab ich  zwar schon seit einigen Tagen, aber am Wochenende mit Mann und drei Kindern im Haus bleibt oft nur wenig Zeit zum Basteln...
Birkas Freebie der Woche ist diesmal ein knuddliges Wuschel-Wesen auf langen (Storchen-)Beinen. 
Zuerst hab ich einen embossten Ostergruß (aus der eigenen Stempelwerkstatt) angefertigt, dann war ich so frech und hab das kleine Kerlchen als Küken ganz beinlos in ein halbes Ei gesteckt, ihm einen Schnabel angeklebt - drumrum noch etwas Bast (fast wie Stroh) und den Rest der Eierschale drapiert und alles mit einigen Pailletten aufgehübscht und Voilà! - ferig war die Karte!

I'm late with my card for the Task for Two Tuesday Challenge - like always...
The idea was in my mind for several days now, but weekends with a hubby and three kids in the house often don't have a lot of time for crafting...
Birkas Freebie of the week is a super-cute tousle-critter with really long legs.
I heat-embossed an easter-sentiment (selfmade stamps) and then I cheekily put this cutie as an chick totally leg-less into one half of an egg, added a beak - arranged some bast (like straw) and the second part of the eggshell and finished the card with some sequins et Voilà! - the card was finished!

(Translation: Frohe Ostern = Happy Easter)

Oh nein! Eben hab ich gesehen, dass noch jemand anderes die Idee mit dem Wuschel im Ei hatte (auch zu Ostern)... Na wenigstens ist das die einzige Ähnlichkeit... alles andere ist zum Glück verschieden! :-)
