Bei uns in Brandenburg startet heute das neue Schuljahr! Zudem gab es in den letzten Tagen mal wieder einen massiven Wetterumschwung, der die Temperaturen deutlich sinken ließ - aktuell ist nichts mehr von hochsommerlicher Hitze zu spüren! 
Für alle Ferien-Kids, die mit wochenlangem Ausschlafen verwöhnt wurden heißt das wohl nun "Zu kalt - zu früh - zu Montag!" 
Oder?

Here in the Federal State of Brandenburg (located around Berlin) school starts today!
There has been a massive change in the weather in the last few days, which has caused the temperatures to drop significantly.
For all holiday kids who were spoiled with long sleeping in the morning for weeks this probably means "Too cold - too early - zoo Monday"!  Right?

Bald laufen wieder die ersten Vorbereitungen für Konfirmationen und Jugendfeiern/Jugendweihen. Ich habe hier eine Karte, die hoffentlich einem Teeny an diesem besonderen Tag Freude bereitet.

Soon the preparations for confirmations and youth ceremonies (a special festivity for teenagers to welcome them in the group of the adults). I made a card, which hopefully bring some joy to a teenager on this special day.

K1-1249 - Magic of Christmas

In den letzten Jahren hatte ja für den Weihnachtsmarkt und das Teltower Hanami-/Kirschblütenfest sehr viele Karten vorbereitet. Wenn man aber jede freie Minute fürs Basteln investiert, kommt man irgendwann nicht mehr mit Posten hinterher!
Nach den Märkten lief das normale Leben (und Basteln) weiter und auch da fand ich oft nicht die Gelegenheiten, alles nachzuholen... 
In den Monaten seit Beginn der Pandemie hab ich mir mal die Zeit genommen, vieles neu zu ordnen. Habe auch meine Bestände an Karten und Bildern gesichtet und versucht herauszufinden, was ich hier noch gar nicht gezeigt hatte!

Besonder Weihnachtskarten postet man das Jahr über ja eher selten... - Da ich in den letzten Tagen hier schon wegen der neuen Uniko-Release viele weihnachtliche Karten gebastelt und gezeigt habe, bleib ich gleich mal dabei und ich zeig noch weitere! 🎄🌟😀

During the last years I made many cards for our Christmas Market and also the Hanami-/CherryBlossom festival of Teltow.
But if you use every free minute for crafting, there is no time left for posting!
After the markets the usual life with (and crafting) went on and I often couldn't find the possibilites to update everything...
During the monthes of the Pandemic I took the time to reorganize a lot. I also looked through all my card boxes and picture folders and tried to figure out, what I havn't posted yet.

In special way most of us don't post many Christmas Cards during the year... - But right now I prepared and posted many christmassy cards for the current Uniko Release, so I stick to this and post some more! 🎄🌟😀

Ich bin fast schon glücklich gewesen, dass ich diese Karte beim letzten Markt nicht verkauft hatte, denn sie gefällt mir immer noch so gut! Bin mal gespannt, wer sie vielleicht dieses Jahr zugeschickt bekommt! 

I was almost happy I havn't sold this card on the last market cause I still love it! I'm excited to whom I will maybe send it this year!

K1-1372 - Allet paletti?

Ich kann's kaum glauben, aber ich hab mal wieder zu viele Karten in zu kurzer Zeit gemacht!

Die Inspirationen aus dem OCC Spring Card Camp machten mich super kreativ! In Kombination mit dem wechselhaften Wetter und der immer noch geltenden Empfehlung, zu hause zu bleiben, hatte ich einige sehr produktive Tage!

Ich werde versuchen, noch möglichst viele Karten zu posten, damit ich die noch in die  OCC-Galerien hochladen kann.
Aber die Posts werden erst mal nur "halbfertig" sein... die Material-Listen und einige zusätzliche Infos kommen dann später.
Bitte habt ein klein wenig Geduld - wenn ihr Fragen zu einzelnen Karten habt, schreibt bitte einen kleinen Kommentar, dann kommen die Infos da früher!

I barely can believe it, but I made too many cards in short time again!

The inspiration of the OCC Spring Card Camp made me super creative. Combined with the mixed weather of the last few days and the still valid suggestion of staying at home I had some super productive days!

I will try to post most of them, to be able to upload them to the OCC-galleries, 
But the post will be "half-done"...the supplies and some more information about every card will be updated as soon as I find time to write them. Please be a bit patient with me -  when you have questions to one of the cards, write a little comment, and I will update this post earlier!

Ink Smooshing to Create a little scene.

The German Sentiment is written in the dialect from Berlin - "Allet paletti?" and it means "Is everything ok?"

The dialect stamp sets from Create A Smile Stamps are so much fun! They are available in several different dialects now.

(But not-Germans may have problems to get a good translation with the digital translation-opportunities...)

Online Card Class "Spring Card Camp"
Student-Gallery Days 11-15

Most of the time I'm inspired by the videos of the current "OCC - Spring Card Camp" right now.
This time from Kristina Werner on Day 15 - using Inks Smooshing Technique.

This is an extra long class - started Saturday, April 11th and last until Thursday, April 30th, Wrap-Up day is Thursday, May 7th. / On every one of the 20 days you get one video with intructions and tips to create in minimum two (different) cards in almost one main working process!

K1-1247 - sparkling Christmas Mandala

Vielleicht kennt ihr das ja auch...
Bei einigen Stanzen werden so viele toll geformte (kleine) Teile mit ausgestanzt, die zum Wegwerfen eigentlich zu schade sind... Dieses "Problem" trifft oft auf Stanzen aus den Bereichen Mandalas oder Blätter und Blüten zu.
Um die Einsatzmöglichkeiten zu erhöhen, kann man sie zum Beispiel mal in unterschiedlichen Farben stanzen und dann wieder in den Rahmen hinein-puzzeln oder aber wie hier nur diese Kleinteile etwas anders anordnen und somit neue / andere Mandalas gestalten... !

Maybe you are familiar with this...
Some dies cut out many (little) pieces with cool shapes you don't want to waste... Many floral and leaf dies or mandala dies have this "problem".
To stretch the use of your dies you can cut out these dies in different colours and puzzle the little pieces into the frames to create colourful mandalas. Or you use only the little pieces, arrange them in a bit different way to create a new kind of mandala...!

Mit einer etwas untypischen Farbwahl für Weihnachten, hellgrün und rosa, hab ich hier eine solche abgewandelte Mandala-Form gelegt und mit NuvoDrops und vielen farbigen Strass-Steinen verziert.
Obwohl viel Material zum Einsatz kam, finde ich, dass die Karte noch gut als CAS Kreation gelten kann, oder?


With a bit untypical colour choice for a christmas card, light green and pink, I created such a modified mandala shape. I decorated it with many NuvoDrops and colourful rhinestones.
Although I used a bunch of stuff here I think that's still a CAS creation, isn't it?
