Hab noch einige weitere Weihnachtskarten für euch...
Als diese Wichtel von Woodware hier bei mir eintrafen, war ich erst ein klein wenig erschrocken, da ich sie mir irgendwie kleiner vorgestellt hatte - aber sie passen hervorragend auf Slimline-Karten (Format 3,0" x 8,5" = 7,7 x 21 cm)!

I have some more Christmas Cards for you...
When these Gnomies from Woodware arrived here in my home I was scared a bit, cause in my imagination they were much smaller - but they fit perfect on slimline cards (sized 3,0" x 8,5" = 7,7 x 21 cm)!

I finished them with the dialect stamps from Create A Smile!
Take a look (and an explanation what this dialect stuff is about) from the post of yesterday "Wie schön dat glitzat!"!

The translation of the German sentiment "Et weihnachtet janz schön dolle!" (Berlin dialect) = "Es weihnachtet ganz schön heftig!" (standard German) = "It's christmassy like crazy!"
"Dollet Weihnachten" may be translated to "Awesome Christmas".

Here is the first one and with "Baum is feddich" one more in a pinch of time.

Ich mache ich ja fast ausschließlich Einzelkarten, daher ist für mich eine Karte, die ich in 5-facher Ausfertigung herstelle schon eine richtige Massenproduktion...
Aber im Dezember fehlte mir plötzlich jede Menge Zeit und ich brauchte dringend noch einige Weihnachtskarten... Somit hab ich für mich den Kompromiss geschlossen, dass ein Design mal fünf (hier auf dem Bild fehlt bereits eine, die da schon auf dem Weg war) noch akzeptabel ist!

Die Front der Karte ist ein klein wenig schmaler (2,75" = 7,0 cm) als der hintere Teil (der hat die oben genannten 3,0" = 7,7 cm), damit das goldene Tape bereits von vorne sichtbar ist. Es hat eine tolle Optik und sieht aus wie mattes, gebürstetes Metall.

Most of the time I make one-of-a-kind cards, so making a card 5 times is kind of a mass-production for me...
But last December suddenly I recognized time flew by and I needed some more Christmas cards... I made the compromise with myself and decided 5 cards of one design (here one is missing, it was already on it's way) is still ok.

The front of the card is a little bit smaller than the back (which has the mentioned 8,5" = 7,7 cm) to catch a first look on the golden tape immediatelly. It has a great look like a matte, brushed metal.

Aufstellerkarten zu basteln macht Spaß, aber leider vergesse ich oft, diese Möglichkeit "etwas besonderes" zu gestalten zu nutzen...
Als ich kürzlich meine ersten Sets mit den süßen Stempeln von Tracey Hey / Alpaca Pals in Händen hielt, war mir sofort klar, dass ich damit eine interaktive Karte gestalten möchte!

Bis dann schließlich und endlich alles so funktionierte, wie ich es geplant hab, dauerte es eine ganze Weile... der erste Versuch, einen dünnen Strohhalm als Führung für den Nylonfaden zwischen die beiden Lagen des Häschens zu kleben, misslang, da das Nylon in das doch recht leicht brüchige Stroh einschnitt und sich verhakte.
Eine Reihe Rocaille-Perlen war dann der zweite Versuch, der besser funktionierte.
Der Schwerpunkt des Häschens liegt bei der aufgestellten Karte etwas ungünstig - er hing dann immer fast unsichtbar in der Öffnung. Daher hab ich es jetzt so gemacht, dass man ihn ein klein wenig entlang des Nylonfadens verschieben kann und das Ahornblatt so am oberen Rand der Öffnung arretiert. Zum Drehen schiebt man ihn einfach wieder ein kleines Stück tiefer, holt Luft und los geht es!

It took a while until everything worked like I had planned it before... in the first try I used a thin straw to guide the nylon thread between the two layers of paper of the rabbit. But this plan failed, cause the straw was demaged easily and then the thread got caught.
The second try was a row of little Rocaille-pearls and this went better.
When the Easel card is standing, the balance point of the rabbit is a bit difficult and the rabbit is almost unvisible from the front. Now you can move it a little bit up and down to lock or unlock it. To start the spinner, put it down and blow!

Dieser kleine Fuchs hat ein wenig Lampenfieber und ist anfangs noch etwas sprach- und textlos!
Denn er soll meine erste selbst gemachte Colour-Slider-Karte präsentieren!
(Ich bleib hier mal beim englischen Namen, denn die Übersetzung "Farb-Schieber-Karte" klingt irgendwie sehr merkwürdig!)
Doch als dann die Lichter angingen, war er in seinem Element und hat von ganzem Herzen zum Geburtstag gratuliert! 💝

This little fox is a bit stage-fright so he is a bit speechless and without any text!
Cause he is the one who should show you my very first Colour-slider-card!
But when the lights were enlightened, he enjoyed his position and offered heartfeld birthday wishes! 💝

This card was a gift for Laney, a stage loving kindergarten teacher/nursery teacher of my son Milos daycare.

Wenn man Geburtstagskarten auf Vorrat macht, ist man ja leider  immer ein wenig eingeschränkt, was Details anbelangt... 
Ich finde ja personalisierte Karten immer toll - egal ob mit dem Namen vorne drauf oder mit dem Alter bei einer Geburtstagskarte.

Da kam mir die Idee, eine kleine Reihe von schlichten Karten mit kleinen Viechereien zu gestalten und mit einer "Lücke" im Text. In diese kann man dann ganz unkompliziert noch die aktuell benötigte Zahl in Wunschfarbe einfügen!
Ich hab extra hierfür eine kleine Box vorbereitet, in der ich all die Zahlen nun aufbewahre, um sie jederzeit griffbereit zu haben.

Diese Lösung ist perfekt geeignet, wenn eines der Kinder mal wieder überraschend zu einem Geburtstag im Freundeskreis von Kita und Schule eingeladen wird.
Aber auch, wenn man zB auf Märkten* verkauft und nicht ein großes Sortiment an Karten für die unterschiedlichen Altersstufen vorbereiten möchte (die man dann vielleicht gar nicht braucht!) - das würde ja irgendwann auch die Logistik eines Hobby-Bastlers sprengen!
*Kunstmärkte, kleine Events, Weihnachtsmärkten... - vielleicht wird es ja irgendwann wieder möglich sein, dass so was stattfinden kann!

When you create cards for stock, you are always a bit limited in the question of details...
I love personalized cards - with the name on the front layer or with the age on a birthday card.

So I had the idea to create a pile of sober cards with some critters and with a "gap" in the sentiment. Here you can add the needed number in the colour of your choice easily! 

I prepared a little box with all the numbers in it to have them ready to use whenever I need one.

This solution is perfect, when one of the kids gets a sudden invitation from the kindergarden or the class mates.
But also when you sell your cards on markets* and you don't want to prepare lots of cards for the different ages (and don't use them!) - that would go beyond the scope of a hobby-crafters logistic!

*Artist markets, little festivals, christmas markets... - maybe they will be possible one day again...

Heute geht's mal wieder zur Erfrischung in den Ozean!

Der Hintergrund ist mit Alcohol Inks auf Yupo "Papier" gestaltet.
Ich hab ja erst seit diesem Jahr eine kleine Auswahl an Alcohol Inks in mein Farb-Sortiment aufgenommen. Bin also noch in der Anfänger-Phase und experimentiere (teils noch etwas vorsichtig) mit diesem neuen Medium herum. Die Reaktionsbereitschaft überrascht mich immer wieder! Und die sehr individuellen Ergebnisse begeistern mich mehr und mehr!
Den Wal hab ich gestempelt und mit Copic Ciao Markern in kühlen Grau-Tönen coloriert. Er ist mit 3D Pads auf der Karte befestigt.
Das "hello" ist mehrfach ausgestanzt, aufeinander gestapelt und zum Schluß noch mit einem silbrig beglitterten Embossing-Pulver überzogen.

I finally started to buy some Alcohol Inks this year. I'm still a Newbie to this medium and I'm experimenting (sometimes a bit charily) with it. The strong responsiveness is surprising me again and again! And I'm amazed of the very individual results very often!
The whale is stamped and then coloures with cold grey Copic Ciao Markers. It's added to the card with dimensional pads.
The "hello" is diecut several times and stacked together, fianlly covered with a silver sparkling embossing powder.

The beautiful cherry blossoms are a perfect combination to the simple sentiment. I coloured the flowers with watercolors and added some accents with black Nuvo Drops.
I repeated the dots of the pollen in the line beside the sentiment where the hearts in the color of the cherry-blossoms are placed (in real the colour is almost the same, couldn't catch it correct with the camera although I tried it several times...).

Über die Karte:
Ich bin bisher nicht besonders geübt mit "Lift-off-Techniken". Da sie aber diesen Monat das Thema bei der neuen CAS Stencil Challenge sind, hab ich mich mal wieder damit versucht...
Zuerst hab ich einen Hintergrund in kräftigen Regenbogen-Farben mit Oxide Inks gewischt und anschließend über die Stencil einen Teil der Farbe mit Wasser wieder entfernt.
Als Kontrast zu den Oxide Farben hab ich meine sonstige Gestaltung, den gestempelten und den gestanzten Text, die kleinen Sterne und auch die Enamel Dots zwischen den farbigen Deko-Elementen in schlichtem Schwarz gehalten (Fragt bitte nicht, was das für Teile sind - ich weiß es nicht! Es sind keine Pailletten und keine Edelsteinchen... irgendwas mit einem Metalleffekt-Lack...)
Im Inneren der Karte hab ich das äußere Design mit einem seitlichen Streifen Regenbogen-Papier fortgesetzt (ähnlich dem am rechtten Kartenrand).

About this card:
I'm not really familiar with the different "lift-off-techniques". But they are the theme of the new CAS Stencil Challenge, so I gave them one more try...
At the beginning I blended the background with some colourful Oxide Inks in rainbow order. Then I removed some of the colour with warter and the use of a stencil.
To create a contrast to the Oxide Inks I used only black elements - the stamped and die-cut sentiment parts, the little stars and also the Enamel Dots between the embellishment pieces (Don't aks me, what it is! They are no sequins and no rhinestones - it's something with metallic effect colours...)
The design of the outside is repeated on the inside with a small strip of rainbow colour paper (similar to the one on the right side).

AAA Cards #135 One plus Three + optional Twist Friends

I used: 

* a die-cut (the word amazing)

* an inked stencil pattern - ok, it's more de-inked than inked, but I used a stencil and ink to create the background

* a trio of small embellishments - ok, I havn't used three of a kind, but I used three different embellishments! → little stars, little colourful metallic-pieces, little black eneamel dots

I think I also used the Optional Twist Friends, cause you say "You are simply amazing" only to someone special - a good friend!

K1-1066 - Warp Speed

Hier kommt meine zweite Karte für die aktuelle Twofer Challenge *Stars.
Ich habe fast die selben Stempel verwendet wie für die erste Karte, hab aber ein völlig anderes Thema gewählt! 

Die Qualle wurde mit ein klein wenig Maskierung zur Rakete und der Sternenkreis funkelt nun nicht mehr hinter dem kleinen Kerl her, sondern umrahmt einen sichelförmigen Halbmond...
Der Text wechselte von deutsch zu englisch und ist nun ein passender Gute Besserungs-Spruch "Get better in warp speed" = "Werd in Windeseile wieder gesund" verwendet. (Wobei Windeseile hier eigentlich Warp-Geschwindigkeit ist...) 

Here is my second card for the current Twofer Challenge *Stars.
I used almost the same stamps that I used in my first card, but I changed the theme completely!

With a bit of masking, the jellyfish turned into a rocket and the circle of stars isn't in the back of the little critter any longer, now it surrounds a lunate moon.
The sentiment changed from German to English and is "Get better in warp speed" now.

I just recognized Virginia Lu started a new project on her Blog to spread creativity and happiness!

It's called "Show & Share"!

On every 9th of a month she will open a special gallery for all of us to show what we are working on. There is no Challenge, no need to use special supplies or techniques, just the option to present your crafty work! Isn't that cool?!

I think it would be great when you find time to visit the blogs of other crafters and leave some comment-love there to encourage others like Virginia is always doing - she is such a shining example for me!
