K1-586 - du fehlst mir

Ich hab mal wieder eine Karte für euch, bei der ich einige Zeit herumgeknobelt hab...
Eigentlich sollte der Spruch auf einem viel kleineren Stück Papier stehen (siehe Task-for-Two-Sketch), aber das wollte und wollte nicht wirken. Ich hab gestempelt, einen Die-Cut ausprobiert und mich schließlich und endlich dann für diese heat-embosste Version entschieden.
Weicht nun also ein wenig von der Vorgabe ab, aber ich finde, der Sketch ist schon noch erkennbar, oder?

Once more, I have a card for you, which took some time to figure it out...
The sentiment should be on a smaller piece of paper (look at the sketch of Task-for-Two), but I didn't like it. I stamped, I die-cut... and finally I took a heat-embossed sentiment.
It's not exact the sketch any longer, but I think you still can see it in there, right?

Translation of the sentimen: du fehlst mir = I miss you.

"Things that fly" = "Dinge die fliegen" ist das Thema dieser Woche bei der Simons Wednesday Challenge. Was fliegt? Vögel, Käfer, Schmetterlinge, Flugzeuge, Ballons und der Rentierschlitten vom Nikolaus! :-)
Ein Freund von uns wird bald in Rente gehen.... und da war sie, die Idee zu dieser Karte! Weihnachts-Material für eine Karte fernab von Weihnachten zu verwenden ist deutlich ungewöhnlicher als anders herum, oder?  Der Freundes heißt nicht Rudolph, aber er hatte eine leitende Stelle (die rote Farbe des "you" ist ein Hinweis darauf).
Ich hoffe, sie gefällt euch.

A friend of us will go into retirement soon... and there was the idea for this card! To use christmas-stuff for a non-christmas card isn't as usual as the other direction, right? The name of our friend isn't Rudolph, but he had a leader-position (the red "you" is a hint for this).

Die Freebies von der noch ganz neuen Stempelfirma Create a smile stamps sind einfach süß, oder? Da konnt' ich (mal wieder) nicht wiederstehen und hab gleich mehrere Karten gemacht...

Die zweite Karte hat auf der Vorderseite eine große Eule/owl (wer erkennt sie?) neben einem großen Loch/hole und auf der Innenseite eine zweite große Eule - an der exakt gleichen Stelle, wo außen das Loch ist (Ich bin mir nicht ganz sicher, ob man das im Bild so deutlich erkennt)

The second one has a big owl on the outside (who recognize it?) beside a big hole and a second big owl on the inside - exactly at the same place where the outside-hole is (I'm not sure if the pic shows this clearly)
