Dafür passten die kleinen Koala-Racker einfach perfekt!

A passed final exam of a kindergarden teacher was the reason for this card.
For this occasion the little koala rascals just fitted perfectly!

The German sentiment on the front "läuft!" is "it runs (fine)!".
On the inside I mixed a "Bam!" with  a hand lettered "You did it!".

Diese Babykarte hab ich schon vor einer Weile gebastelt, aber bisher noch keine Gelegenheit gehabt, sie hier zu zeigen!

Wenn möglich, integriere ich gerne den Namen des Babies in das Karten-Design. 
Entweder nur mit Buchstaben oder, wenn die Bedeutung es ermöglicht, auch mit grafischen Elementen.
So wie in diesem Fall!
Melina kommt aus dem Griechischen und bedeutet "die Honigsüße" (laut einer Seite für Namens-Bedeutung). Da lag die Verwendung von Bienenstock, Bienen und Honiggelb nahe!

When it's possible, I try to integrate the name of newborns into the design of baby cards.
Either only with letters or when the meaning makes it possible also with graphic elements.
So I did in this card!
Melina is a Greek name and means "honeyed" (told me a page for meaning of names). So the use of beehive, bees and honey yellow was obvious!

Bei der "Online Card Classes - Holiday Card Workshop 2022" gab es eine Art kleinen Schneesturm!
Das Ergebnis waren ganz viele unterschiedliche Schneeflocken-Karten!

Für diese Karte hat mich der "Tag 9 - Snowflakes" inspiriert.
An diesem Tag waren Kristina Werner und Caly Person die beiden Tutoren.

Die Grundidee zu dieser Karte stammt auch vom "Tag 8 - Foiling".

Einer der Hauptgründe für diese zweite Karte waren die Reste der ersten Karte - die goldenen Fenster brauchten eine neue Bleibe! ;-)

K1-1606 - Ich bin stark!

Heute vor einem Monat hab ich mir mein linkes Sprunggelenk gebrochen... gleich mehrfach!
Nach einigen Tagen im Krankenhaus, zwei OPs und genug Umstellungen in unserem turbulenten Familien-Alltag war vieles immer noch beschwerlich... so hab ich erst vergangene Woche angefangen, wieder in meinem Bastelzimmer aktiv zu sein... zuerst mit Ordnung schaffen und dann auch mit dem Basteln.
Ich hab all die kleineren und größeren Ansammlungen von Scraps, selbst gestaltete Hintergründe, ausgestanzte Dinge, gestempelte und noch unkolorierte Bilder, und Texte etwas sortiert und geschaut, was davon zusammenpassen könnte... dabei ist dann in einem Rutsch ein recht großer Schwung Karten entstanden. Jede von ihnen ein Mix aus vorhandenen und frisch dafür gemachten Elementen.

Die erste Karte, die ich euch aus dieser speziellen Kollektion zeigen möchte, passt derzeit wunderbar zu meinem eigenen Zustand... 😉

Exact one month ago I have broken my left ankle... several times at once!
After some days in hospital, two operations and several changes in our turbulent everyday family life lots of stuff was still exhausting... so I not started to be active in my craft room till last week... first I cleaned up some stuff and then I started crafting.
I started to spend all the scraps like self-created backgrounds, die cut pieces, stamped and uncoloured pictures and sentiments a new order and took a closer look what I may combine with each other... after this step I crafted a big bunch of cards in one go. Every one a mix of existing and fresh created stuff.

The first card of this special collection I want to show you fits perfectly to my own situation right now... 😉

The translation of the German sentiment is something like:
I feel ready to take on anything (to pick out trees), okay, small trees, maybe bamboo or flowers. Very well then - grass. Grass will work..."

Dieser kleine Hund bietet sich dafür aber perfekt an!
Für alle Tier-Liebhaber wurde aus den Wörtern awesome (großartig, fantastisch) und paw (Pfote, Tatze) ein Wortspiel kombiniert, für das es leider keine richtige Übersetzung gibt.

Obwohl es bei uns in den letzten Wochen immer wieder mal geschneit hatte, ist bisher nicht wirklich was länger liegengeblieben...
Daher konnten meine Kids draußen im Garten bisher weder tolle SchneeEngel machen, noch eine Schneeballschlacht!

Bei dieser Karte bitte ich, die Qualität des Bildes zu entschuldigen - ich hab gerettet, was zu retten war...
Ich hatte die Karte damals noch ganz kurz vor einem meiner Weihnachtsmärkte gemacht und kam zu Hause nicht mehr zum Fotografieren. Sie wurde gleich auf dem ersten Markt schon verkauft und ich hatte nur noch bei sehr mieser Beleuchtung ein ganz schnelles Bild gemacht - einfach für meine private Bildersammlung.
Da ich die Karte aber immer noch sehr süß finde, hab ich nun mal etwas dran gearbeitet (Danke an Photoshop), damit ich sie euch doch noch hier zeigen kann.

Several times we had snow during the last few weeks but it melted away always...
So my kids weren't able to make neither beautiful SnowAngels nor Snowfall fights outside in the garden yet!

Please apologize the quality of this picture - I tried to save what could be saved...
I finished the card directly before one of the christmas markets where I had a booth and I couldn't make fotos at home. I sold it on the first market and just made a quick shot with very bad lightening at the booth - for my private picture collection.
I still like this cute card, so I did some picture work on it now (thanks to Photoshop) and can poste it here now.

Hufeisen sind ja nicht nur für Pferde-Fans ein ganz deutliches Symbol für Glück.
Auf dieser Karte sind sie gut sichtbar bereits im Text integriert und dazu auch welche im Shaker versteckt!

Horse shoes are a clear symbol for luck - at least here in Germany - also in your country? Please tell me in the comments if you have known about this meaning before.
On this card they are visible in the sentiment and also hidden in the shaker! 

The translation of the German word "Glückwunsch" = felicitation or congratulation. 
I liked to use this word here, cause it has two times an U, perfect shape for horseshoes! But I haven't a "real" horseshoe die, so I made them all with the letter die, used silver paper to let them look more metallic and also to highlight them.

Kränze sind ja eine total schöne Dekoration - nicht nur auf Karten!
Ich hab eine kleine Serie mit drei Kranz-Karten gemacht, die ich euch heute zeigen möchte.
Auf jeder Karte befindet sich ein Kranz an etwa der selben Stelle, jedoch sind sie aus verschiedenen Papieren gestaltet. 
Auch bei den Hintergründen und den Verzierungen gibt es kleine Unterschiede.
Der englische Text "I'm blessed to call you my friend" heißt übersetzt "Ich bin gesegnet, dich meinen Freund zu nennen".
Welcher der Karten gefällt euch am besten?

Dieser kleine Fuchs hat ein wenig Lampenfieber und ist anfangs noch etwas sprach- und textlos!
Denn er soll meine erste selbst gemachte Colour-Slider-Karte präsentieren!
(Ich bleib hier mal beim englischen Namen, denn die Übersetzung "Farb-Schieber-Karte" klingt irgendwie sehr merkwürdig!)
Doch als dann die Lichter angingen, war er in seinem Element und hat von ganzem Herzen zum Geburtstag gratuliert! 💝

This little fox is a bit stage-fright so he is a bit speechless and without any text!
Cause he is the one who should show you my very first Colour-slider-card!
But when the lights were enlightened, he enjoyed his position and offered heartfeld birthday wishes! 💝

This card was a gift for Laney, a stage loving kindergarten teacher/nursery teacher of my son Milos daycare.
