Heute starten die Intro-Tage der neuen Uniko-Stencils!
Als erste Stencil ist die "MOD Background Builder" dran.

Ihr kennt mich ja... und wisst sicher, dass ich gerne Produkte etwas zweck-entfremde... 
und so  habe ich das geometrische Muster hier mal flott in Aquarell-Schmetterlinge verwandelt! Selbst die Fühler sind Teil des Stencil Designs.
Noch einige farblich passende Pailletten und ein netter Gruß aus dem Set "Floral Vines" zugefügt und fertig war die Karte!

Today the Intro-days for the new Uniko-Stencils start!
The first one we present is the "MOD Background Builder".

You know me... and for sure you know I love using supplies in a different way as usual...
and so I took the geometric pattern to create watercolour butterflies!
Also the antennas are part of the stencil design.
To finish the card I added some fitting sequins and a friendly sentiment of the set "Floral Vines".

Ich habe hier mit den Embossingpulver Farben "gespielt".

Am besten geht diese Technik, wenn man ein StampingTool zum aufklappen verwendet, da man dann in aller Ruhe und immer wieder Bereiche mit Versamark Ink versehen und mit dem entsprechenden Pulver versehen kann. Nach jedem Pulver-Auftrag unbedingt erhitzen, um ungewollte Farbvermischungen zu vermeiden!

So wird dann die Farbe in mehreren Schichten aufgetragen (ich hab nicht mitgezählt.... )

Meine Pfingstrose hab ich hauptsächlich in weiß und rosa-Tönen gehalten.

Hier gibt's ein Beispiel für eine wunderschöne weiß-rosa Pfingstrose.

 

Here I "played" with the embossing powder colours.
This technique works best when you can use a stamping platform with a swinging flap, cause you can prepare areas again and again with Versamark ink and powder. Heat it up after every powder-step to avoid unwanted colour-mixing.

The colours are added in several layers (havn't count how many...)

For my peonies I used white and several shades of pink.

Ich bin immer noch inspiriert von den in der "OCC Spring Card Camp 1" gezeigten Techniken, obwohl vor einer Woche bereits der zweite Kurs gestartet hat... Ich BRAUCHE definitiv mehr freie Bastelzeit!

Aber zwei meiner vier Kids müssen immer noch zu hause bleiben und wollen oder müssen die meiste Zeit über beschult und unterhalten werden - bis die anderen beiden dann auch schon wieder nach hause kommen (verkürzte Schultage können einem wirklich sehr kurz vorkommen!)

Ich kann's kaum glauben, aber ich hab mal wieder zu viele Karten in zu kurzer Zeit gemacht!

Die Inspirationen aus dem OCC Spring Card Camp machten mich super kreativ! In Kombination mit dem wechselhaften Wetter und der immer noch geltenden Empfehlung, zu hause zu bleiben, hatte ich einige sehr produktive Tage!

Ich werde versuchen, noch möglichst viele Karten zu posten, damit ich die noch in die  OCC-Galerien hochladen kann.
Aber die Posts werden erst mal nur "halbfertig" sein... die Material-Listen und einige zusätzliche Infos kommen dann später.
Bitte habt ein klein wenig Geduld - wenn ihr Fragen zu einzelnen Karten habt, schreibt bitte einen kleinen Kommentar, dann kommen die Infos da früher!

I barely can believe it, but I made too many cards in short time again!

The inspiration of the OCC Spring Card Camp made me super creative. Combined with the mixed weather of the last few days and the still valid suggestion of staying at home I had some super productive days!

I will try to post most of them, to be able to upload them to the OCC-galleries, 
But the post will be "half-done"...the supplies and some more information about every card will be updated as soon as I find time to write them. Please be a bit patient with me -  when you have questions to one of the cards, write a little comment, and I will update this post earlier!

Heute hab ich eine Karte für euch, die ich mit einer vermutlich eher ungewöhnlichen Art der Stencil-Benutzung gemacht hab.

Was ist nun so ungewöhnlich?
Ich hab zuerst die Scattered Polka Dot Stencil ganz "normal" mit Glitzerkleber / Stickles verwendet. Als die Punkte dann trocken waren, hab ich die Stencil erneut (passgenau!) aufgelegt und dann ein wenig nach oben und rechts verschoben.
Dann hab ich jeweils in die Mitte der Öffnungen einen Nuvo Crystal Drop platziert. Diese Punkte hab ich so belassen, wie sie waren, also nicht verstrichen und daher nicht die kompletten Öffnungen der Schablone bedeckt. 
Die Schablone hat mir hier also nur Hilfe bei der Orientierung gegeben, um die Tropfen in gleichmäßigem Abestand zu den Glitzerpunkten aufzutragen. 

What is so uncommon here?
First I used the scattered polka dot stencil as "usual" in combination with glitterglue / stickles. When dhe dots were dried, I placed the stencil back on the (exact!) same place and then moved it a bit up and to the right.
In the center of each open area I placed a Nuvo Crystal Drop. I let these drops as they were, I didn't spread them out and so I didn't filled the whole open area.
The stencil was just a guide to place the drops in the same distance to the glitter-points.

Nachdem ich bei Cards und More die Challenge #37 gewonnen hab, bin ich heute als GastDesigner für die neue Challenge #39 mit dabei! Jippie!😊
Dafür hab ich drei Karten mit der tollen Farbvorgabe gemacht!

Gestartet hab ich mit komplett weißem Cardstock.
Zuerst hab ich die Oxide Inks mit der Smooshing-Technik aufgetragen.
Dann über die Stencil die Embossing Tinte aufgetragen und mit transparentem Pulver embosst.
Anschließend die (gesäuberte!) Stencil gedreht, damit die Dreiecke in die andere Richtung zeigen, und zwischen den embossten Dreiecken plaziert. Erst mit den Blending Tools passend zur vorhandenen Farbe auf dem Papier noch mehr Farbe aufgetragen und (nach dem Reinigen der Stencil!) wieder Embossing Tinte und Pulver. Diesen Schritt hab ich nochmal wiederholt.

Jetzt mit dem schwarzen Stempelkissen das komplette Papier bearbeiten! Seltsamerweise kostet mich das jedesmal, wenn ich es mache Überwindung, warum auch immer?!?
Jetzt noch die überschüssige Farbe mit einem Tuch entfernen. Da es noch eine ganze Weile bei Berührung nachgefärbt hat, hab ich eine hauchdünne Schicht MicroGlaze aufgetragen. Seither kann man es anfassen, ohne Spuren an den Fingern zu sehen.

Der Rest war einfach: Das Sechseck ausstanzen, mit Vellum hinterlegen und den feinen Vellum-Rahmen aufkleben. Das doppelte Hallo ausstanzen, beide Teile einfärben, embossen und zusammengeklebt auf die Karte kleben.
Bei dem hellgrauen Papier, das als Zwischen-Layer eingefügt ist, an der entsprechenden Stelle ebenfalls ein Sechseck ausstanzen (der Einfachheit halber etwas größer als das auf der Front) und es flach auf die Kartenbasis kleben. Dann den Vordergrund mit 3D Tape auf dem grauen Papier befestigt.

I started with white paper.
First I applied the Oxide Inks with the smooshing technique onto my paper.
Then I used the stencil with the embossing ink and added clear powder to emboss it. Then I replaced the (cleaned!) stencil in different direction and added more colour with my blending tools. Cleaned the stencil and added embossing ink again. Heat ambossed two times with clear powder.

The next step is hard, every time I use this technique! I applied the black ink directly with the black ink pad on the whole panel!
After I removed the excess colour with a towel I got still black fingers... so I added a thin layer of MicroGlaze. Now it's perfect!

The rest was easy peasy: diecut the hexagone, put a piece of vellum behind and adhere the fine vellum-frame. Also diecut the sentiment, colour and heat emboss it, layer it and glue it on the hexagone.
I put a layer of light gray paper between my cardbase and the front layer. To get a clear vellum hexanone, I cut a bigger hexagone out of this gray paper, then adhered it flat onto my cardbase. The front is adhered with 3D tape.

Heute geht's mal wieder zur Erfrischung in den Ozean!

Der Hintergrund ist mit Alcohol Inks auf Yupo "Papier" gestaltet.
Ich hab ja erst seit diesem Jahr eine kleine Auswahl an Alcohol Inks in mein Farb-Sortiment aufgenommen. Bin also noch in der Anfänger-Phase und experimentiere (teils noch etwas vorsichtig) mit diesem neuen Medium herum. Die Reaktionsbereitschaft überrascht mich immer wieder! Und die sehr individuellen Ergebnisse begeistern mich mehr und mehr!
Den Wal hab ich gestempelt und mit Copic Ciao Markern in kühlen Grau-Tönen coloriert. Er ist mit 3D Pads auf der Karte befestigt.
Das "hello" ist mehrfach ausgestanzt, aufeinander gestapelt und zum Schluß noch mit einem silbrig beglitterten Embossing-Pulver überzogen.

I finally started to buy some Alcohol Inks this year. I'm still a Newbie to this medium and I'm experimenting (sometimes a bit charily) with it. The strong responsiveness is surprising me again and again! And I'm amazed of the very individual results very often!
The whale is stamped and then coloures with cold grey Copic Ciao Markers. It's added to the card with dimensional pads.
The "hello" is diecut several times and stacked together, fianlly covered with a silver sparkling embossing powder.

Ich hab noch einige weiterer monochrome Karten gemacht - in ganz unterschiedlichen Farben. Hüpft hin, um mehr zu sehen!

Türkis/Petrol = turquoise/teal:

Über die Karte:
Ich hab zuerst mit Hilfe der "Focal Dots" Stencil die roten Distress Oxide Punkte auf's Papier gebracht, in die ich dann mit einigen der kleinen Stempel aus dem "Perfect Tune" Set im selben Ton noch Ringe zugefügt habe. Das Radio stammt ebenfalls aus dem "Perfect Tune" Set und wurde erst mit Stabilo Markers koloriert und dann teilweise mit Glossy Accents überzogen. Die beiden Wörter  stammen aus der doppelte-Stanzen-Serie und wurden zweifarbig ausgestanzt, zusammengefügt und ebenfalls mit Glossy Accents überzogen.
Ich wollte die Karte clean und simple halten, aber doch noch einen gewissen Pepp zufügen. Meine Wahl fiel auf ein rotes Halogen-Tape, das nun den oberen und unteren Kartenrand ziert und von dem sich das mit 3D-Tape befestigte Punktepapier deutlich abhebt!

About this card:
First I brought the red Distress Oxide dots with the "Focal Dots" stencil onto the paper, then I used some of the small stamps from the "Perfect Tune" set to add some circles in the same colour. The radio is also a stamp of the "Perfect Tune" set. I stamped it and coloured it with Stabilo markers and covered some parts with Glossy Accents. Both words are out of the double-die-series and they were cut out in red and white, assembled and also covered with Glossy Accents.
I wanted a clean and simple card, but I wanted a something special effect too. I chose a red holographic tape which embellishes the upper and lower edge now and with them the dotty paper I adhered with 3D tape really pops out!
