Kennt ihr das, dass man manchmal so Tage hat, an denen man lauter Einweg-Tickets zum Mond verteilen könnte!?!
Wem das dann passiert ist, dem tut etwas Zuspruch gut!
Oder jemand, der ein Rückflug-Ticket mitbringt und einen nach Hause holt! 🎟️ 🚀
Auch wenn die Mondbewohner vielleicht ganz lieb sind... es ist eben trotzdem alles fremd dort!

Als wir vor wenigen Tagen endlich eine kleine, räuberische Maus in unserem Haus fangen konnten, hätte ich ihr am liebsten auch solch ein Ticket verpasst! 🚀
Und daraus entstand dann mit dem Challenge-Thema von AnkesArt im Hinterkopf innerhalb weniger Momente die Idee zu dieser Karte!
Masking, Stenciling, Coloring, Shrinking-Foil, Lettering - hier kamen ganz viele unterschiedliche Techniken zum Einsatz!

Die kleine Maus hab ich dann am Waldrand in die Freiheit entlassen, wo sie sich hoffentlich von gesünderen Sachen als übrig gebliebenen Schoko-Ostereiern ernähren kann! 🍎🌰🌾
Sie sollte allerdings besser nicht zurück kommen!

It's a pun with the German sentiment.
First I have to translate it for you...
"Ich habe ein Auge auf dich geworfen" has the meaning of  "I've got my eye on you".
But the German words are a bit different...
The "correct" translation (exactly by words) would be "I've thrown an eye on you".
I think now you can understand this funny combination of monster, eye and sentiment, right?!

Mit fiel auf erst jetzt auf, dass ich Euch diese Hochzeits-Karte vergangenes Jahr gar nicht gezeigt hatte!
Den Grund, warum ich es nun gemerkt habe, zeige ich Euch in wenigen Tagen!

Die Idee zur thematischen Umsetzung kam mir, als ich erfuhr, dass sich das Brautpaar ein Wochenende in Hamburg mit Besuch des "König der Löwen" Musicals wünscht...
So gestaltete ich eine kleine Szene mit dem Löwen-Paar, ihren beiden Kids und einer höheren Macht , die über sie alle wacht (wie der Löwen-Vater Mufasa).

I just recognized I missed to show you this wedding card last year!
The reason why I found it out now I will show you in a few days.

I got the idea for the theme when I heard about a big wish of the couple -  a weekend trip to Hamburg with a visit of  the "Lion King" Musical.
So I prepared a little scene with the couple, their two kids and a higher power watching over all of them (like the lion dad Mufasa)

Für den Hintergrund hab ich die Oxide Inks nebeneinander auf meiner Arbeitsunterlage aufgetragen, zu jeder Farbe einen Klecks des farblosen, holografischen Lacks zugegeben und dann mit dem Papier darüber gewischt und so die beiden Medien gemischt und aufgetragen, bis ich mit dem Ergebnis zufrieden war.
Nach der Trocknungszeit hab ich das Herz mit schwarzer Tinte gestempelt (mit einer Stempel Hilfe, um ein richtig schwarzes Ergebnis zu bekommen!), dann von Hand ausgeschnitten, mit dem Glitzerstift die Außenlinie nachgezogen und die Tatze mit goldenem (champagnerfarbenen) Glitzerkleber verziert. 
Der Text ist ebenfalls in schwarz gestempelt.
Ich habe das Herz flach auf den Hintergrund geklebt und diesen dann mit 3D-Klebeband auf meine Kartenbasis.

For the background I added the oxide inks side by side onto my working surface, put a bit of the translucent holographic paste on every colour and then smooched and mixed with the paper both media until I loved the result.
After the drying time I stamped the heart in black (with a stamping platform to get a great black result!), then fuzzycut it out, drew the sparkling pencil along the edge and added the golden (champagne) glitter glue to the paw.
The sentiment is stamped in black ink too.
I glued the heart flat onto the background and adhered it with dimensional tape on my cardbase.

I've choosen the combination of the Doodle Flower Stencil and this great sentiment to celebrate the growing company of Uniko!

Beverly adds so much love to every one of her designed products and you can see it in every one!

I still love stencils - you can create so many designs in almost no time. Especially when you use different mediums in one project.

I stenciled with red pencils and then  clear Stickles. I heat embossed the sentiment, diecut out the heartshape and adhered everything.

Ich kann's kaum glauben, aber ich hab mal wieder zu viele Karten in zu kurzer Zeit gemacht!

Die Inspirationen aus dem OCC Spring Card Camp machten mich super kreativ! In Kombination mit dem wechselhaften Wetter und der immer noch geltenden Empfehlung, zu hause zu bleiben, hatte ich einige sehr produktive Tage!

Ich werde versuchen, noch möglichst viele Karten zu posten, damit ich die noch in die  OCC-Galerien hochladen kann.
Aber die Posts werden erst mal nur "halbfertig" sein... die Material-Listen und einige zusätzliche Infos kommen dann später.

I barely can believe it, but I made too many cards in short time again!

The inspiration of the OCC Spring Card Camp made me super creative. Combined with the mixed weather of the last few days and the still valid suggestion of staying at home I had some super productive days!

Background Blocks Pinstripe II(£5)

Yes, you've read correct: Pinstripe II
Both background blocks have almost the same size, the same stripes, so what's the difference? 
The direction of the stripes (on the rectangular block)!

When Beverley showed us the first sneak peeks of this new background stamp I had the idea in my mind to combine these two pinstripe stamps immediately!
But there are many more ideas - now I can combine either vertical or horizontal cards with both, vertical or horizontal stripes to create great backgrounds! :-)

I stamped both blocks  in a light grey. Was so easy to adjust them perfectly orthogonal on the cardbase.
Then I measured out to find the middle row (was too lazy to count them twice) and started my "cross-stitching" with a fine red marker.
I added row after row and some extra stitches until my heart had a perfect size and shape. 
Was happy I needn't to suture the ends of the "thread" cause I used it to write my little message and finished the card by adding a "needle" with a silver Gellyroll pencil.

I know, the stitching doesn't look "perfect", but it wouldn't be better when I would have used real thread! So it looks very realistic for me! ;-)
(I crafted and did fancywork my whole life in many different ways, but I never did cross-stitching!)
