K1-1012 - enlightened Christmas Tree / Uniko Challenge #50

Im Stil der vorherigen Karte, hab ich noch eine weitere Weihnachtsbaum Karte gemacht. Diesmal hab ich jedoch den Baum etwas aufwändiger verziert und mit einer zweiten Ebene noch etwas mehr Glanz hinzugefügt.
Auch hier war ich noch von einer der Karten von Kristina Werner aus der "Online Card Classes - Clean and Simple Holidays" inspiriert.

Like I did in my last card, I made another christmas tree card. This time I decorated the tree a bit more and added some more sparkle beneath my layer of the tree.
My work is still inspired by one of Kristina Werners cards in the "Online Card Classes - Clean and Simple Holidays".

Heute gibt's noch eine andere Karte für euch, in der ich euch noch eine der anderen neue Schablonen zeige!

Über die Karte:
Die hier verwendete Technik funktioniert am besten mit farbigen Fingers!

Da die Distress Crayons ja eine recht weiche Konsistenz haben, kann man wunderbar einige Krümel in jede Stern-Öffnung geben und diese dann mit den Fingern verreiben.

Anschließend hab ich mit grünen Oxide Inks die großen Sterne noch bestempelt - das Seeing Stars Set passt hier perfekt dazu!

Die Text-Teile sind heiß embossed -in klar und in gelb, passend zu den Sternen. Das Textfeld ist parallel an den Linien des "wish" ausgerichtet.

Meine Farbgebung wirkte auf mich recht maskulin, weswegen ich auch die weitere Verzierungen entsprechend gewählt habe: Hologramm-Tape und -Sterne, die tolle Lichtreflexe erzeuchen, wenn man die Karte leicht bewegt!

About this card:
The technique I used on this card works best with inky fingers!

Distress Crayons have a soft texture, so you can put some small pieces in every stencil-hole and blend them in with your fingers.

Then I stamped with Oxide Inks into the biggest stars - the Seeing Stars Stamps fit perfectly!

The sentiment-parts are heat embossen in clear and yellow, fitting to the stars. Then I cut the sentiment banner with parallel orientation on the lines of the word "wish" .

The used colours are perfect for a masculin card, so I've choosen my embellishments also men-like: hologram tape and stars, both give cool reflections of the light with only little moves of the card.

Dieser süße Waschbär auf dem Baustumpf ist Teil der aktuellen Gerda Steiners MPChallenge. Der Digi-Stamp hat ein leeres Schild, das man selbst nach Herzenslust beschriften kann.
Ich hab mich für "You're awesome" (= "Du bist großartig") und ein kleines Herz entschieden - ich finde, das passt gut zu seinem verschmitzten Gesichtsausdruck.

This cute racoon on the stump is part of the current Gerda Steiners MPChallenge. The digistamp has an empty plate and you can decorate it with your heart's content.
I took "You're awesome" and a small heart - I think it fits perfectly to the whimsical smile.

Über die Karte:
Ich hab den Waschbären mit Distress Crayons und einem feuchten Pinsel coloriert (das ist fast wie colorieren mit Aquarellfarben), um eine etwas rauere Optik für diese kleine Wald-Szene zu erzeugen. Um die Karte möglichst schlicht zu belassen, hab ich als Verzierung nur einige gestanzte Blätter um den Baustumpf herum verteilt.

About this card:

I colored the racoon with Distress Crayons and a wet brush (it's almost like watercoloring) to get a bit of a rough optic for this little forest scene. As embellishment As embellishments I just added some diecut leaves around the stump to stay clean and simple.

In letzter Zeit hab ich wenige One-Layer-Karten gemacht.
Beim Task for Two Tuesday #71 wurde (neben einem Sketch) nach Masking gefragt. - Ein perfekter Grund, um mal wieder eine One-Layer-Karte zu machen! Ich stecke derzeit in einer "Häschen-Laune", weswegen es nochmal eine Osterkarte geworden ist...
Vögel, Bauernhof-Tiere und One Layer - Das passten mal wieder einige Challenges perfekt zusammen! :-)

For a while I havn't crafted One-Layer-Cards very often.
The Task for Two-Challenge #71 asked for Masking (and an additional sketch). - That's a perfect reason for a One-Layer-Card! I'm still in a "Bunny-Mood", so it turned out to be an easter card again...
Birds, Farm-Animals and One-Layer. - These challenges could be combined so easily! Perfect!
