K1-1163 - Stylish Celebration / Uniko-Intro (1-II)

I made three cards for today. The links to the other cards you can find below in the DT-list.

For my second card I stamped the border lines and the outlined sentiment with VersaMark Ink and added clear Embossing Powder, then I blended the whole front of my card with Oxide Inks and coloured the inside of the sentiment in turquoise.

The splatters bring some "action" to the clear design. I spinkled  some drops of water on the blended area and let the Oxide Ink react, adjacent I removed the solved colour with a paper towel.

As stylish element I added some metallic enamel dots to finish the card.

K1-597 - Birthday Balloons

Heute hab ich eine Distress-Reaction-Technik verwendet, mit der ich bisher immer etwas Schwierigkeiten hatte. Jetzt weiß ich: es lag am Papier!
Today I used a Distress-Reaction-technique which didn't work for me until now. Now I know: the paper makes the difference!

Für diese Karte hab ich zuerst weißes Papier mit DistressInk eingefärbt, dann zuerst mit purem Wasser und anschließend ein zweites Mal mit "Glitzerwasser" (Smooch Spritz) den großen Balloon gestempelt. Der kleinere runde Balloon ist dann mit einem dunkleren Blauton regulär gestempelt und anschließend mit dem "Wink of Stella Brush" noch beglittert.
For this card I covered a white paper with DistressInk and then I stamped the big balloon first time with pure water and then a second time with "glitterwater" (Smooch Spritz). For the smaller round balloon I used a darker shade of blue and then the "Wink of Stella brush".

Kennt ihr diese Geschenkbänder aus verdrehtem Papier? Wenn man diese aufdröselt, hat man ein relativ dünnes Papier mit einer feinen Knitter-Optik. Davon hab ich zwei Lagen im unteren Kartenbereich angebracht, ehe ich meinen Balloon-Layer und den ausgestanzten Schriftzu aufgeklebt habe.
Das "Happy" ist mit Embossing-Pulver entstanden und die "Pfeile" sind Enamel-Sticker.
Do you know gift-wrap-ribbon made of twisted paper? When you un-twist it, you get a thin paper with a nice wrinkled optic. I added two layers of this in the lower area of the card, then added the balloon-layer and the die-cut "Birthday".
The "Happy" is heat-embossed and the "arrows" are enamel-stickers.

K1-589 - Sweet life

Heute hab ich eine absolute Minimalisten-Karte für euch: One Layer, zwei Stempel und im Gegensatz dafür über 20 verschiedene Farben!
Ich habe mich noch mal an der "Reactive DistressInk-Technik" von Jennifer McGuire versucht, die Katrin vom Mitmach-Mittwoch sich diese Woche gewünscht hatte. - Leider passt die Karte nicht zu den anderen Challenge-Vorgaben... Aber das Bonbon ist sicher klein genug, um bei der Stempelküche mimachen zu dürfen. :-)

Today I have an absolute minimalistic-card for you:
one layer, two stamps and in contrast more than 20 different colors!
I tried once more the "Reactive DistressInk-technique" of Jennifer McGuire, which is the whish from Katrin for the current Mitmach Mittwoch (= Take-part Wednesday)-Challenge. - Unfortunatelly my card doesn't fit to the rest of the challenge-demands... But the candy is small enough to be allowed for the Stempelküchen-Challenge. :-)
