I've planned to have a booth on our Hanami Cherryblossom Festivity at the end of April again. Not sure yet if I will get one (there are always too many interested exhibitors and not enough booths), so keep finger crossed!

In case I get a booth, I will be prepared as soon as possible this year. So I made two cards with flowers look a bit like cherry blossoms with the new dies and combined them with beautiful sentiments for a great spring feeling!

The first one is a A6 sized card with kind of a full blooming branch.

K1-1120 - Kraniche / Einfach so

Hier in Teltow haben wir eine Kirschblüten-Allee, die nach dem Fall der Mauer entlang des alten Grenzstreifen zwischen Süd-Berlin und Brandenburg angelegt wurde. Die über 1000 Bäume waren damals ein Geschenk aus Japan.
Seit einigen Jahren wird hier jedes Jahr Ende April das Hanami Kirschblütenfest gefeiert. Dieses Jahr hatte ich dort zum ersten Mal einen Stand mit Karten und Origami-Werken! 😍
Extra für den Markt hab ich noch einige Hanami-Karten hergestellt. Einige davon mit gefalteten Origami-Figuren...

Here in Teltow we have a Cherry-Alley, placed along the old border between south Berlin and Brandenburg. All the trees, more than 1000, were a donation from Japan.
At the end of April we celebrate the Hanami Cherry Blossom Festival there. This year I had a booth there with cards and Origami-creations for the first time! 😍
Especially for the market I crafted some special Hanami cards. Some of them with folded Origami-creatures...
Soon I'll tell you more about the Festifal!

K1-118 - Japanische Kirschblüten

Ein Bisschen dauert's zwar noch, bis sie zu blühen angfangen, aber man kann sich ja mit einem Kärtchen auch die Wartezeit verkürzen...
Teltow feiert an jedem letzten Sonntag im April das Hanami-Kirschblütenfest. Dieses Jahr feiern wir zusätzlich noch das 20-jährige Jubiläum der Städtepartnerschaft Teltow-Tokio.
Hoffentlich können alle Feierlichkeiten bei schönstem Wetter unter den rund 1000 voll erblühten japanischen Kirschbäumen entlang des ehemaligen Grenzstreifens am Teltow-Kanal stattfinden.

It will take a little bit more time until they will bloom, but I will try to shorten the queue time with this flowered card.

Teltow celebrates the Hanami-Cherryblossom-Festival on every last sunday of April. This year, we have a second reason to celebrate: the 20th anniversary of the Urban-Partnership of Teltow and Tokio. Hopefully all the festivities may be celebrated beneath the 1000 full-flowered Japanese Cherry Trees along the ancient border strip to West-Berlin near the Teltow Canal.
