Manchmal trudelt ein Material hier bei mir ein, das regelrecht danach schreit, verbastelt zu werden!
Ich bewahre sie bis zur Verwendung in einer (inzwischen mal wieder viel zu vollen) kleinen Kiste auf... Wehe, einer kommt auf die Idee, davon etwas weg werfen zu wollen! Das sind alles Stücke mit einer kleinen Geschichte!

Oft sind es besondere Papiere oder Folien mit tollen Mustern oder Strukturen oder auch mal, wie in diesem Fall, ein einfaches Stück WashiTape!
Diese Materialien ergeben tolle Brennpunkte, da man sie oft nur in kleiner Menge zur Verfügung hat und daher sehr gezielt verwendet!

Ich liebe es, Karten um ein besonderes Stück, Thema oder Bild (auch gestempelte) herum zu basteln!
Bin nur ich so ein Nerd oder geht's euch genauso?

K1-1159 - The special WashiTape

Sometimes a special material appears and it's yelling to be used!
I store them in a (in the meantime very good filled) little box... 
Woe betide the one who asks me to throw something out of this box away! These are all pieces with a little individual story behind the scene!

Often it's a special piece of paper or foil with a beautiful pattern or texture or, like in this case, a simple piece of WashiTape!
These materials are amazing focal points cause you often have only scraps or a small amount of them and so you use them advisedly! 

I love this - to create a card around a special piece, theme or picture (also stamped ones stamped)!
Hope I'm not the only nerd! Are you the same?

K1-898 - enjoy your day

Diese Karte hat eine besondere Faltung: die Eule, der Fuchs und der erste Teil des Textes sind auf der ganz regulären Kartenvorderseite zu sehen. Beim Öffnen der Karte sieht man dann lionks den Schneemann und rechts den zweiten Teil des Spruchs. Der Schneemann kann als Verlängerung des Front-Bildes nach vorne geklappt werden.
Übersetzung des englischen Texts: "It's your day enjoy" = "Es ist dein Tag, genieße ihn" und "always believe something wonderful is about to happen" = "glaube immer daran, dass etwas wundervolles passieren wird".

This card has a special folding: the owl, the fox and the firt sentiment are on the usual cardfront, when you open the card, you see the snowman on the left and a second sentiment on the right. The flap with the snowman is about half of the card size. The snowman can be flapped over as extension of the front.

Jennifer McGuire hat am Tag 4 der Online Card Class - Merry Making eine wunderschöne Hintergrundstanze verwendet und damit eine raffinierte, doppelt gefaltete Gatefold-Karte gemacht.
Ich hab leider diese tollt Stanze nicht und musste mal wieder improvisieren... 

On day 4 of the Online Card Class - Merry Making Jennifer McGuire used a beautiful background-die to create a clever, double folded Gatefold-card.
Sadly I havn't such a great background-die in my stash and so I needed to improvise once more...

Es ist eigentlich kaum zu glauben, dass ich noch nie eine Easel-Karte gemacht hab!
Da diese Technik in der aktuellen "Task for Two" gefragt ist, hab ich mich also mal drangesetzt... Und was soll ich sagen?! - Mit so wenig extra-Aufwand kann man einen coole Effekte erzielen! Wird definitiv nicht die letzte Easel-Karte gewesen sein.

It's almost unbelievable I've never crafted an easel-card before!
This technique is asked in the current challenge of the "Task for Two", so I gave it a try... What shall I say?! - With a minimum of extra-work you can get awesome effects! Won't be my last easel-card!

K1-732 - Flüsterpost / Whisper-Cell-Phone

Derzeit herrscht bei uns Baby-Ausnahmezustand!
Erst lag ich selbst noch 10 Tage in der Klinik, dann kam unser kleiner Milo 8 Wochen zu früh zur Welt und verbrachte ganze 7 Wochen in der Neonatologie. Das tägliche  Pendeln zur Klinik in Potsdam (einfache Fahrt circa 20 km) und unser wieder begonnener Schulalltag mit den 3 großen Kindern hat mich ziemlich vereinnahmt.
Seit dem 03.10. ist Milo nun endlich zu hause und bekommt hier nun nachträglich all die Kuschelzeit, die durch die Distanz zur Klinik zuvor nicht so intensiv möglich war. Haushalt und Basteltisch werden da dann von mir oft etwas vernachlässigt ;-)

Anlässlich der letzten "Online Card Class - Wild Card" hab ich aber doch einige wenige Kärtchen gemacht, die ich euch noch zeigen möchte.
Die Liste mit den Bastelmaterialien kommen dann noch nachträglich.

Currently we have exceptional baby-circumstances!
In the beginning of August I stayed in hospital for 10 days, then our little son Milo was born 8 weeks too early and he had to stay for seven long weeks in the premature-ward. My daily commuting to the hospital (one way is about 20 km) and  our normal everyday-life with 3 bigger kids in school kept me busy.
On the 3th of October (German Day of Reunification) Milo arrived here in our home and I love to cuddle up to him (we catch up on everything we missed in these long hospital-weeks).
Houshoding and also my craftroom are sometimes disregarded ;-)

But for the last "Online Card Class - Wild Card" I tried to find some crafting time and now I wanna show you what I made.

Ich arbeite immer noch die vielen Ideen auf, die die Online Card Classes - CAS-4 mir gebracht hat. 
Diesmal ist es eine dreifach gefaltete Karte geworden - nicht ganz so wie im Kurs, aber dafür mit kleiner Geschichte (inspiriert durch Julie Ebersole am Tag-6).
Wer von euch traut sich, seine Interpretation in den Kommentaren zu posten?

I'm still working on different ideas from the Online Card Classes - CAS-4. 
This time the result is a tri-fold card - not the same as in class, but mine has a littel story (inspired by Julie Ebersole on Day-6).
