K1-1661 - großer Schmetterlings-Dank

Gründe zum Danke sagen gibt es ja oft.
Hier hab ich eine elegante und doch etwas verspielte Karte gemacht.

Der große Schmetterling ist in weißer Pigment Tinte auf dunkelgrauen Cardstock aufgetragen. Nachdem die Tinte getrocknet war, hab ich Glimmerspray in gold und orange aufgetragen.
Ich habe mich entschieden einen bereits zuvor hergestellten Text zu verwenden. Er ist in zwei Farben heiß embossed auf Vellum. 
Für die Befestigung habe ich das Vellum in der selben Breite wie das graue Papier gefalzt und dann unsichtbar auf dessen Rückseite fixiert. Da es auf der Vorderseite nicht ganz flach auflag, habe ich es mit einigen kleinen Tropfen Kleber befestigt und diese Stellen mit kleinen Schmetterlingen verdeckt.
Das schwarze "vielen" und die kleinen Schmetterlinge wurden noch mit einer Schickt Glossy Accents überzogen. Sie geben der Karte das gewisse extra.

The big butterfly is stanciled in white pigment ink on a dark grey cardstock. After the ink was dry, I sprayed it with a glimmer liquid in gold and orange.
I finished up the card with a previously made German sentiment which is heat embossed in two colours on vellum. 
The vellum is scored and folded to the same width of the grey paper and adhered unvisible to this backside. To fix it a bit better I added some small liquid glue dots here and there and hid them behind the little punched out butterflies.

To pup a bit more out, the black "vielen" = "lots of" and the three little butterflies are covered with a layer of Glossy Accents.

Neben den ganzen Geburtstags-Aktivitäten auf dem Uniko-Blog zum 10. Geburtstag des Verlags gibt es noch ein anderen Jahrestag, den ich hier mit euch teilen möchte!
Und ja, er hat ganz direkt auch mit Uniko zu tun!

Ich bin jetzt seit vier Jahren als DesignTeam Mitglied / Brand Ambassador in Beverleys Truppe mit dabei! 😍

In dieser Zeit ist viel passiert - in allen Lebensbereichen!
Und ganz nebenbei sind viele, viele Karten mit all den unterschiedlichen und einzigartigen Uniko-Produkten entstanden!
Wenn man mehrere Male im Jahr in sehr aktiven und produktiven Zeiten gleich sehr viele Karten bastelt und sie nicht sofort auf dem Blog zeigt, sammeln sich einfach einiges an ungezeigten Karten an...
In den letzten zwei Wochen habe ich einige dieser Karten endlich mal hier gezeigt!

Beside all the activities for the 10th birthday celebration on the Uniko-Blog there is just another anniversary popping up right now. I want to share this with you!
And yes, it also is affected by Uniko!

I am part of the Design Team / Brand Ambassador in Beverleys group for exactly four years now! 😍

In this time, so much stuff happened - in every part of my life!
And by the way I made many, many cards with all the different and unique Uniko products!
When you have several times in each year very active and productive times making lots of cards and don't post them immediatelly on your blog, they are accumulating...

Meine heutige "Jubiläumskarte" ist, wie ihr seht, ganz im Uniko-Stil gehalten. Nicht nur, dass ich die Stencil mit der Logo-Blüte als Seerose verwendet habe, sondern auch die Verlags-Farben finden sich auf der Karte wieder!

Und der Text? Ganz klar!

Ein ganz großes Danke an Bev!!!
Dafür, dass sie mich in ihr Team mit aufgenommen und mich vier Jahre mit all meiner Macken und Fehlern dort behalten hat! 😉
Dafür, dass ich dank ihr viele wunderbare Erlebnisse hatte und durch sie viele freundliche, kreative, tolle Leute kennenlernen konnte - sowohl bei den Uniko-Retreats in Stockton-On-Tees (ich vermisse diese live-Treffen!) als auch in unserer online-Bastel-Welt!
Dafür, dass ich in dieser Zeit so viele tolle Bastelmaterialien von ihr zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen habe! (Ich brauch mal wieder mehr Platz im Regal!)

This "jubilee card" is completely made in Uniko style. Not only that I used the stencil with the logo flower as water lily, but also the company colours found their use on the card!
And the sentiment? That's easy!

Meine heutige Karte ist erneut mit einer Uniko Schablone gemacht - der Flower Power #8.
Ja, diese große Blüte hat etwas von einem Mandala! Darum mag ich sie so sehr!

Ich hab die Schablonen-Ränder mit Aquarell Stiften nachgezogen, dann die Schablone entfernt, Wasser zugefügt und so die Blütenflächen koloriert.
Hast du die Albrecht Dürer Künstler Stifte von Faber Castell schon einmal ausprobiert? Die sind einfach großartig! Ich arbeite mit ihnen sogar noch lieber als mit meinen Polychromos Stiften! (Bitte haut mich deswegen jetzt nicht! 😉)

Todays card is made with an Uniko Stencil again - the Flower Power #8.
Yes, this big flower has something of a mandala! That's why I like it so much!

I traced the edges of the stencil-openings with watercolour pencils, then removed the stencil and added water to the colours to colour the flower areas.
Have you ever used the Albrecht Dürer artists' pencils from Faber Castell? They are so gorgeous! I love to craft with them even more than with my Polychromos! (Please don't hit me for this! 😉)
The sentiment is made with a die from Create A Smile.
Translation of the German word "Danke" is "Thanks".

Ich hab für die Online Card Class - "Crushing on Cardstock" zum Video von Cathy Zielske am Tag 1 gleich mehrere Karten mit Embossing Foldern gestaltet.
Hier kommt die letzte Embossing Folder Karte!

Das Besondere dieser Karte ist das Papier, das ich geprägt habe. Mein ältester Sohn Paul hat es vergangenes Jahr selbst hergestellt und es mir dann zu Weihnachten geschenkt.
Ich verwende es immer sehr sparsam, da es etwas so besonderes ist! 💓

This one is the last one I made for the OCC with an Embossing Folder! 

The very special thing on this card is the paper I used to emboss. My biggest son Paul made it last year and gave it to me last christmas. 

I always use it economical, cause it's something very special. 💓

Allein schon das, ein guter Grund, dankbar zu sein, oder?

This is for itself already a good reason to be thankful, right?

Es gibt noch einige mehr Gründe für mich, dankbar zu sein! 

Dankbar dafür, dass ich heute überhaupt hier leben kann, wo ich lebe (als gebürtiger Schwabe in Brandenburg, vor den Toren von Berlin).
Dankbar, dass ich vor ziemlich genau 20 Jahren nach Berlin umzog, wo ich Jahre später dann meinen Mann kennen gelernt habe (noch so ein ausgewanderter Schwabe).

But there are some more reasons for me, to be thankful!

Thankful for the option to live here today, where I do (a born Swabian in the federal country of Brandenburg, directly outside of Berlin).

Thankful for the fact I moved to Berlin just 20 years ago, where I met my husband some years later (also an emigrated Swabian who moved here).

Dankbar dafür, dass heute vor genau 4 Jahren Milo nach einem schweren Start ins Leben und fast 7 langen Wochen im Krankenhaus endlich das erste Mal mit uns nach hause fahren durfte (unsere ganz private Vereinigung)!

Er war noch winzig klein (trug gerade mal Kleidergröße 42!) - aber unendlich süß! 😍

Thankful for the very first coming home for Milo after an arduous start in his life and almost 7 long weeks in hospital exactly 4 years ago (our very private union)!

He was so tiny (has worn clothes just about size 42 cm!) - but so endless cute! 😍

Und ich gedenke heute hier auch meiner Omi Doris, die heute vor genau einem Jahr verstorben ist... - Danke für die vielen schönen Jahre mit dir! 

Ruhe weiter in Frieden, wieder vereint mit deinem geliebten Mann. 💕
And I commemorate my Granny Doris today, she died exactly one year ago... - Thanks for all the good years together with you!

Rest in peace, united with your beloved husband again. 💕

Als ich anfing, diese Karte zu basteln, hab ich diese Stanzen von Birch Press in ganz vielen verschiedenen Farben ausgestanzt und anschließend zu ganz unterschiedlichen Blüten zusammengesetzt. Hier hab ich noch Nuvo Drops in 3 Farben zugefügt.

Diese frische, weiße Lotusblüte auf den unterschiedlichen Grüntönen strahlen Hoffnung und Friede aus. In Kombination mit dem Wort Danke gefällt mir das sehr gut!

When I started to make this card, I cut out these Bir Press Dies with many different colours and combined them to different looks. Here I added Nuvo Drops in three colours.

This fresh white Lotus-Flower on the different shades of green has a great charisma of hope and peace. Combined with the sentiment Danke = Thanks I like it very much!

Can you believe it? It's already October now and it's time for the Reminder Post for the current Uniko-Challenge  #61! It's an Anything Goes Challenge with the optional twist "Thanks".

I hope, every one of you has a reason to say thanks right now! Thanks to someone who was or still is there for you, to take care, to talk when you feel bad, to encourage or inspire you, to make you laugh or just to feel needed!

The technique I used for this card I've seen some weeks before in a YouTube video of Jennifer McGuire. She called it "embossed impressions" I think. 

It was a bit tricky and needed some tries until I was almost happy with the result, but these heat embossed thin lines on the die-embossed paper look great, don't they?

Yes, you read it correct! 

First I impressed the paper with a cutting die (and a silicone matte) with VersaMark on the cutting-edges (just there and nowhere else!), then I put embossing powder over it and heat embossed this to melt into the impressed lines. How cool is this?

For my card I used a left-over colourful mix of embossing powders (all from Zing!) I also heat embossed the sentiment and some little punched circles with the same powder.
To get a bit of "real" colour I put a strip of red paper beneath the cut out sentiment and cut it again.

I combined rough and smooth papers, white and (very) colourful pieces, outlined flowers and a bold sentiment, impressed areas and raised ones, glossy dots and matte paper ...

K1-1192 - fall mushrooms -II-

In letzter Zeit entstehen bei mir ja mal wieder vermehrt Karten im CAS-Stil. Hier hab ich gleich zwei herbstliche Dankes-Karten mit Pilzen gebastelt.

Lately I made more CAS cards again. Here I made two autumnal "Thanks" cards with some mushrooms.

Die kleinere erste Karte, kam mir für eine "echte CAS-Karte" noch zu "voll" vor, wieso ich noch diese zweite Karte gemacht hab, mit fast identischem Aufbau (Stempel, Technik und Layout) aber viel mehr freier Fläche.

The smaller first card was a bit "overloaded" for a "real CAS-card", why I made this second card with almost the same settings (stamps, technique, layout) but more open space.

Im Vergleich dazu die kleinere Karte, die ich zuerst gemacht hab... auch schön, aber irgendwie aufgrund der Größe noch etwas zu "voll".
Hier sieht man den Unterschied:

To compare both, I placed the cards side by side... the smaller one is nice too, but cause of the size a bit "overloaded".

Nachdem ich bei Cards und More die Challenge #37 gewonnen hab, bin ich heute als GastDesigner für die neue Challenge #39 mit dabei! Jippie!😊
Dafür hab ich drei Karten mit der tollen Farbvorgabe gemacht!

UPDATE 12.08.2019:
😢 Da ist wohl leider etwas ziemlich schief gelaufen und mein(e) Bild(er) konnte(n) nicht in den Cards & More Post eingebaut werden... 😭 😶 Auch bis heute (Montag) noch noch nicht!
Ich hab den obigen Text nur durchgestrichen, für den Fall, dass es doch noch klappt, dann könnte ich diese Meldung hier noch mal rückgängig machen... 😞

Für diese Karte hab ich etwas ältere Stempelsets herausgekramt...
Koloriert ist die Karte mit Aquarell-Buntstiften, die ich dann mit Wasser verblendet hab. 
Um das Material der Kanne zu betonen, hab ich die Konturen zuerst mit silbernem Embossing Pulver gestaltet und nach dem kolorieren noch mit einer Schicht Wink of Stella überzogen. Als kleines Extra hab ich hier noch die kleinen Tropfen Strass-Steinchen zugefügt.
Die Blümchen sind mit Nuvo-Drops gestaltet.
Für das "Danke" hab ich eine Schrift gewählt, die zu den Ranken an der Kanne passt und die einzelnen Buchstaben auf den Banner gestempelt. Der kleine Schmetterling "verbindet" Banner und Kanne.
