Manchmal trudelt ein Material hier bei mir ein, das regelrecht danach schreit, verbastelt zu werden!
Ich bewahre sie bis zur Verwendung in einer (inzwischen mal wieder viel zu vollen) kleinen Kiste auf... Wehe, einer kommt auf die Idee, davon etwas weg werfen zu wollen! Das sind alles Stücke mit einer kleinen Geschichte!

Oft sind es besondere Papiere oder Folien mit tollen Mustern oder Strukturen oder auch mal, wie in diesem Fall, ein einfaches Stück WashiTape!
Diese Materialien ergeben tolle Brennpunkte, da man sie oft nur in kleiner Menge zur Verfügung hat und daher sehr gezielt verwendet!

Ich liebe es, Karten um ein besonderes Stück, Thema oder Bild (auch gestempelte) herum zu basteln!
Bin nur ich so ein Nerd oder geht's euch genauso?

K1-1159 - The special WashiTape

Sometimes a special material appears and it's yelling to be used!
I store them in a (in the meantime very good filled) little box... 
Woe betide the one who asks me to throw something out of this box away! These are all pieces with a little individual story behind the scene!

Often it's a special piece of paper or foil with a beautiful pattern or texture or, like in this case, a simple piece of WashiTape!
These materials are amazing focal points cause you often have only scraps or a small amount of them and so you use them advisedly! 

I love this - to create a card around a special piece, theme or picture (also stamped ones stamped)!
Hope I'm not the only nerd! Are you the same?

My card is a CAS creation in silver and black. The only colourful embellishments are mini heart-shaped sequins in pink.

Kaum zu glauben, ich hatte bis vor wenigen Wochen keine großen Herz-Stanzen! Kleine Stanzer, ja, aber nichts großes!
Habe das jetzt endlich mal geändert. Für diese Karte kamen die "Stitched Heart Stackables" von Lawn Fawn auch gleich wieder zum Einsatz.

Unbelievable, but I hadn't any big heart dies! I had some small punches, yes, but nothing big!
Some weeks ago I changed this. For this card I used the "Stitched Heart Stackables" from Lawn Fawn again.

Über die Karte:
Ich arbeite nach wie vor sehr viel mit meinen neuen Oxide Inks. Blending funktioniert ja immer wunderbar damit - direkt auf dem Papier oder wie hier durch eine Schablone.
Ich hab rote und rosafarbene Tinten ausgewählt, eine Schablone von Stampin'Up und dazu ein helles Kraftpaper, um einen schönen Kontrast zu dem weißen Moosgummi und dem Banner zu erhalten, die ich später noch zufügen wollte.
Nachdem die Tinte getrocknet und das Papier auf die größe der Karte zugeschnitten war, hab ich die beiden Herzen ausgerichtet und mit meinem (geliebten!) rosa Malerband auf dem Papier fixiert und ausgestanzt. Dann die beiden kompletten  Herzen nochmal aus 3 mm Moosgummi ausgestanzt. Um zu vermeiden, dass das weiß Moosgummi später irgendwo hervorlugt hab ich die beiden Herzen von Hand entlang der Stitchingline kleiner geschnitten.
Alles zusammenzufügen war ja nun ganz einfach - wichtig nur, dass man einen guten Kleber verwendet, der Moosgummi verklebt (das macht leider nicht jeder Kleber gleich gut). Zum Schluß hab ich noch einen geraden Banner mit einem Text von Uniko Stamps bestempelt, die Enden, damit sie später nicht ganz flach auf der Karte aufliegen etwas eingerollt und dann die Linien zur Faltung direkt an den Herzen orientiert und aufgeklebt.

About this card:

I'm still working very often with the new Oxide Inks. Blending is always perfect with them - direct on paper or like today with a stencil.
I used red and pink inks and a stencil from Stampin'Up on a light Kraftpaper for a bigger contrast to the dimensional hearts and the banner I planned to add to the card.
When the ink was dried I trimmed the paper down to my cardbase, aligned both heart-dies, fixed them with my (beloved!) rosy painter-tape and cut them out. Then I also cut out two complete hearts out of 3 mm fun foam. To avoid the funfoam peeking forth later, I fussycut them smaller along the stitching line.
To put everything together was easy - just needed a good glue for the funfoam (not everyone will work with it). To finish the card I created a straight banner with a sentiment from Uniko Stamps.  I  rounded (or rolled) the ends a little bit, so they aren't laying flat on the card, scored it to the perfect size direct on the hearts, and adhered it to the card.
