Heute gibt's wieder mal einen Beitrag von mir auf dem UNIKO-Blog! Ich zeige euch dort drei Karten mit Gittermuster/Mathekästchen im Hintergrund - etwas männliches, weibliches und für unterschiedlichen Anlässe. 

Die dritte und letzte Karte ist ebenfalls eine gute Besserungs-Karte, unterscheidet sich jedoch im Farbbereich und den Verzierungen deutlich von der vorherigen.

Zur Feier dieses Tages gratuliere ich mit meinem heutigen Kärtchen!
Es erinnert an die Karte vom 24.02., da ich fast die selben Materialien verwendet habe und auch die Farbgebung sich ähnelt.
Ich mag diesen Bildaufbau mit den plastisch gestalteten Blütenblättern und den hand-gezeichneten Details etwas mehr, da er mehr CAS-Charakter hat.

Heute soll es laut Wetterbericht hier schon wieder Schneeregen geben... Vielleicht bessert sich die Stimmung darüber etwas, wenn wir ein fröhliches Winterlied anstimmen?!
Zum Beispiel "Schneeflöckchen, Weissröckchen, wann kommst du geschneit? Du wohnst in den Wolken, dein Weg ist so weit..."

Tut mir leid, dass die Bilder keinen optimalen Fokus haben (er liegt auf dem Spiegelbild, nicht auf der Karte), aber als ich das bemerkt habe, war die Karte schon versandt...

The meteorologists forecasted snowy rain for today... Maybe a jolly winter song may lift our spirit a bit?!
The example is a traditional German song about little snowflakes. 
The translation is something like "Little snowflake , little white skirt, when are you falling from sky? You live in the clouds and your way is so long..." (for the rhyme it should be "your way is so high").
The first words of the song I used as sentiment on the card.

Sorry, the pictures haven't the right focus (it's on the mirror, not on the card), but when I recognized the fault the card was already send out...

Es kommt ja sehr selten vor, dass ich eine Karte ganz ohne Stempel, Stanzen oder Stencils gestalte. Das hier ist eine davon!
Inspiriert zum Freihand-Gestalten hat mich Kristina Werner in der  Online Card Class - Simply Watercolor Christmas (die Class ist von 2020/10 aber man kann sie jederzeit erneut ansehen und sich inspirieren lassen).

There aren't many occasions for me to create cards completely without any stamps, dies or stencils. This card one is one of them!

Background Blocks Pinstripe II(£5)

Yes, you've read correct: Pinstripe II
Both background blocks have almost the same size, the same stripes, so what's the difference? 
The direction of the stripes (on the rectangular block)!

When Beverley showed us the first sneak peeks of this new background stamp I had the idea in my mind to combine these two pinstripe stamps immediately!
But there are many more ideas - now I can combine either vertical or horizontal cards with both, vertical or horizontal stripes to create great backgrounds! :-)

I stamped both blocks  in a light grey. Was so easy to adjust them perfectly orthogonal on the cardbase.
Then I measured out to find the middle row (was too lazy to count them twice) and started my "cross-stitching" with a fine red marker.
I added row after row and some extra stitches until my heart had a perfect size and shape. 
Was happy I needn't to suture the ends of the "thread" cause I used it to write my little message and finished the card by adding a "needle" with a silver Gellyroll pencil.

I know, the stitching doesn't look "perfect", but it wouldn't be better when I would have used real thread! So it looks very realistic for me! ;-)
(I crafted and did fancywork my whole life in many different ways, but I never did cross-stitching!)

Da ich ja (noch!?) keine Copic-Marker besitze, mir die Karte von Donna Mikasa mit den sanft gemalten Blüten aber so gut gefällt, hab ich heute mit meinen Aquarell-Wachsstiften versucht, ähnliche Effekte zu erzielen. (Wegen dem verwendeten Material hab ich die Karte auch unter III. gelistet.)

Mit den Farbverläufen bin ich schon zufrieden, nur an der plastischen Wirkung der Blüten hapert's noch etwas - aber das bekomm ich hoffentlich auch noch hin, mit etwas Übung.

Sadly I (still?!) have no Copic-Markers, but I like the card of Donna Mikasa with the soft colored blossoms - so I decided to try the technique with my "Water soluble wax pastels" to get similareffects. (Cause of the used materials I put the card in category III.)
I like the color-gradients, only the dimensional  impression could be better - but I hope after some more tries I will get it.
