Heute hab ich eine schnell gemachte CAS Geburtstagskarte für euch. Sozusagen ein potentielles Last-Minute-Projekt!

It's sort of a prospective last-minute-projuect!

Über die Karte:
Ich sagte ja, es war schnell gemacht...
* Das "Wonky Stitched Square" aus weißem Papier ausstanzen.
* Das gelbe Quadrat 4 mm größer ausschneiden.
* Aus dem weißen Quadrat die Blume ausstanzen, die bunten Teile aus kleineren Reste-Stücken ausstanzen. Den Umriß der Blüte mit dem Marker schwärzen.
* Die beiden Quadrate und die Inlayed Die-Cut Blüte zusammenpuzzlen und -kleben, auf der Kartenbasis befestigen.
* Den Glückwunsch unter den Quadraten in schwarz aufstempeln.
* Mit Pasilletten verzieren.

About this card:
I told you it was a quick one...
* Die-cut the "Wonky Stitched Square" out of white Cardstock.
* Cut out the yellow square just 4 mm bigger.
* Cut out the flower of the white square, the colorful pieces out of some paper sraps. The outline of the flower is coloured black with the Marker.
* Put and glue the two squares and the inlayed die-cut flower pieces together. Adhere it on the cardbase.
* Stamp the birthday sentiment in black ink beneath the squares.
* Embellish with some sequins.

Jennifer McGuire hat am Tag 4 der Online Card Class - Merry Making eine wunderschöne Hintergrundstanze verwendet und damit eine raffinierte, doppelt gefaltete Gatefold-Karte gemacht.
Ich hab leider diese tollt Stanze nicht und musste mal wieder improvisieren...

K1-642 - Botanische Glückwünsche

In unregelmäßigen Abständen bekomme ich Anfragen für "Groß-Aufträge" - Karten im A5-Format. Sie bieten genügend Platz, um zum Beispiel auch eine größere Gruppe von Kollegen unterschreiben zu lassen.

 
Das "kleine" Problem bei diesen Karten-Formaten ist ja oft, dass man gar nicht viele so große Stempel hat, die den vorhandenen Platz gebührend würdigen. Daher verwende ich hier dann gerne ein Layout, das die Fläche in kleinere Segmente unterteilt.
Diesmal sollte es eine frühlingshafte, blumige Geburtstagskarte werden. 
Ich hab mich entschieden, drei "Blumenkästen" mit unterschiedlichen Blütenformen aus einem Die-Set in drei unterschiedlichen Farben zu verwenden. Die jeweils größte Blüte eines Kastens hab ich mit Vellum ausgearbeitet - das verleiht ihnen den Hauch des "Besonderen".
Die "Pailletten" sind aus dem selben Papier, das auch unter den Blüten verwendet wurde gestanzt und sie haben noch einen Hauch von Wink of Stella Glitter erhalten.

From time to time I get requests for "big orders" - cards in A5-size (foldet size is about 14,5x21 cm). They have enough free space for a bigger group of collegues for example.

 
The "small" problem with these card-sizes is often, there aren't enough big stamps and other supplies in my stash to appreciate all this free space in a good way. So I often use a layout which divides this huge area into smaller spaces. 
This time I was asked for a bloomy and springlike birthday-card.
I decided to create three "flower-boxes" with flower-shapes out of one die-set in three different colors. The biggest flower of every box I created with vellum - that makes them special.
The "sequins" are die-cuts, made of the same papers like the layers beneath the flowers and they also got some fine glitter-accents with a Wink of Stella brush.

Translation of the sentiment: "herzliche Glückwünsche" = "happy Birthday" or  also "heartfelt congratulations".
