Bald laufen wieder die ersten Vorbereitungen für Konfirmationen und Jugendfeiern/Jugendweihen. Ich habe hier eine Karte, die hoffentlich einem Teeny an diesem besonderen Tag Freude bereitet.

Soon the preparations for confirmations and youth ceremonies (a special festivity for teenagers to welcome them in the group of the adults). I made a card, which hopefully bring some joy to a teenager on this special day.

This card was a really quick one for me!
I used the leftover of a self-coloured embossing paste to create the polka dot background. Stencils are perfect for so many techniques!

After the paste was dry I cut the piece of paper in size and added it to my my cardbaste. The sentiment I stamped on a white thin cardstock and added a layer of a matching red cardstock beneath.

And I was finished with this quick birthday card! Yay!

K1-1167 - stylish Fleur-de-Lis / Uniko-Intro (3-I)

This time I have a CAS NoteCard with a noble touch for you!
Almost everything is heat embossed here.
  

  
I started with the sentiment of the new "Sentiments Outline" set (yes,again! I like it!), heat embossed it in antique gold, a bright and beautiful shimmery metallic colour.
I tried to catch the look of this in my pictures, but it's not easy to get the shimmer like it is in real....

Then I put my "Fleur de Lis" stencil on top of the card, masked the areas of the sentiment and the edges and added VersaMark Ink directly with my stamp pad.
I prefer the mini pad in combination with stencils, cause you can fill in the open stencil spaces easier with this one instead of the big pad.
The fleurs were covered with silver pearl powder, which has a precious shimmer too.

To finish the card I coloured the bottom edge with a gold metallic gelly roller pencil and added some details to the heraldic lilies too.
The middle-area of the fleurs has a belt, where I added little faux half-pearls, also on top of the middle-petals.

K1-1163 - Stylish Celebration / Uniko-Intro (1-II)

I made three cards for today. The links to the other cards you can find below in the DT-list.

For my second card I stamped the border lines and the outlined sentiment with VersaMark Ink and added clear Embossing Powder, then I blended the whole front of my card with Oxide Inks and coloured the inside of the sentiment in turquoise.

The splatters bring some "action" to the clear design. I spinkled  some drops of water on the blended area and let the Oxide Ink react, adjacent I removed the solved colour with a paper towel.

As stylish element I added some metallic enamel dots to finish the card.
