Einen Regenbogen zu entdecken ist für mich immer toll - und wenn man dazu noch das Glück hat, gleich zwei am Himmel schimmern zu sehen, dann ist der Tag perfekt, oder?
Gestern war so ein Tag, wo ich immer wieder zum Himmel geschaut hab, in der Hoffnung, ein wenig Frbe zu entdecken... leider vergeblich. Es war alles ziemlich dunkel und wolkig.
Wenn aber doch mal ab und zu die Sonne durchgeblinzelt hat, dann leuchtete alles in einem besonderen Licht und es gab faszinierende und intensive Farben gegen das dunktle Grau.
Das war das absolute April-Wetter hier bei uns!

To see a rainbow on the sky is always an event for me - and to have the luck to see a doubled rainbow makes a day perfect, right?
Yesterday I was looking onto the horizon again and again... with the hope to see some colours in between all the gray... sadly there was nothing. Everything was dark and cloudy.
But sometimes the sun was peeking through the clouds and then everything was glowing in a very special light with intense and fascinating colors against the dark gray.
We had the "origin (german) april weather" here!

Ideen zur Karte:
Die beiden Regenbögen sind aus farbligen Ringen gemacht, zueinander sind sie farblich gespiegelt (der eine hat außen Rot und innen Lila, der andere genau andersrum). Der vordere ist zudem noch durch Moosgummi hervorgehoben (plastisches Element).
Um die spezielle Wirkung von Regenbögen etwas nachzuahmen, hab ich sie beide erst mit dem Wink of Stella Brush zum schimmern gebracht und den Effekt anschließend noch mit einer Schicht Siegellack vollendet. Der Siegellack ist ähnlich wie Glossy Accents, nur dünnflüssiger und daher für größere Flächen sehr gut geeignet.

Ideas behind the card:
These two rainbows are made of colored circles, they are color-mirrored against each other (one has red on the outside and purple on the inside the other one is reversed). The rainbow in the front is mounted onto funfoam (for a dimensional look).
I tried to catch the special effect of rainbows by adding some wink of stella glitter on both of them and then finish them with a varnish, it's like glossy accents, but more liquide so it works great on bigger areas.
