Today is Stencil release day at Uniko!
First I want to show you the Mandala in a double-technique: ink blending and dry embossing with the same stencil!

Über die Karte:
Zuerst hab ich die Stencil zusammen mit einer Silikon-Platte durch meine Cuttlebug Maschine gegeben, um das Muster der Stencil aufs Papier zu übertragen. Dabei nicht vergessen, die Stencil mit Maler Tape zu fixieren, damit nicht verrutscht! Anschließend hab ich vorsichtig (ohne zu großen Druck!) die Farben mit einem Blending Tool aufgetragen.
Vermutlich kann man die Reihenfolge auch tauschen, aber da sollte man dann zwischendurch die Stencil reinigen und sie anschließend erneut fixieren - das war der Grund, warum ich das Mandala erst geprägt und dann eingefärbt habe!
Als Text hab ich mich für ein simples "hello" in Form einer mehrschichtigen Stanzung entschieden und hier dann den schmaleren Schriftzug noch mit Glitzer verziert.
About this card:
IFirst I put the stencil together with a silicone matte through my Cuttlebug machine to impress the pattern of the stencil into my paper. Don't forget to fix the stencil with painters tape to avoid it sliding around! After this I softly (with less pressure!) added colous with a blending tool.
I think it's also possible to change the steps, but then you have to clean and re-fix the stencil before you emboss with it - that was the reason why I first embossed and then coloured they mandala.
As sentiment I used a simple "hello", created with a layered diecut where I decorated the finer lettering with some glitter.
