Was man nicht alles "Einfach so..." mal sagen kann...! Für all diese lieben Worte und tolle Botschaften mache ich Kärtchen wie dieses hier!

Translation of the German sentiment "Einfach so..." = "Just because...".

You can say so many things "Just because..."...! For all these kind words and great messages I make cards like this one!

The beautiful cherry blossoms are a perfect combination to the simple sentiment. I coloured the flowers with watercolors and added some accents with black Nuvo Drops.
I repeated the dots of the pollen in the line beside the sentiment where the hearts in the color of the cherry-blossoms are placed (in real the colour is almost the same, couldn't catch it correct with the camera although I tried it several times...).

K1-1120 - Kraniche / Einfach so

Hier in Teltow haben wir eine Kirschblüten-Allee, die nach dem Fall der Mauer entlang des alten Grenzstreifen zwischen Süd-Berlin und Brandenburg angelegt wurde. Die über 1000 Bäume waren damals ein Geschenk aus Japan.
Seit einigen Jahren wird hier jedes Jahr Ende April das Hanami Kirschblütenfest gefeiert. Dieses Jahr hatte ich dort zum ersten Mal einen Stand mit Karten und Origami-Werken! 😍
Extra für den Markt hab ich noch einige Hanami-Karten hergestellt. Einige davon mit gefalteten Origami-Figuren...

Here in Teltow we have a Cherry-Alley, placed along the old border between south Berlin and Brandenburg. All the trees, more than 1000, were a donation from Japan.
At the end of April we celebrate the Hanami Cherry Blossom Festival there. This year I had a booth there with cards and Origami-creations for the first time! 😍
Especially for the market I crafted some special Hanami cards. Some of them with folded Origami-creatures...
Soon I'll tell you more about the Festifal!

Like always we revisit on previously released products - this time the focuse is on some great background-stamps and stencils with polka-pattern and the always beloved Simply Said Blocks!

On my first card I used these  materials: 

Simply Said Blocks II

Stencil Scattered Polka Hexagons

First I blended the whole background with "wild honey", then dry embossed the stencil with the help of a silikon matte in my Cuttlebug machine. The embossed spots I coloured with help of the stencil and a blending tool in "spiced marmelade".
I stamped and heat embossed all other elements. The Simply Said Block I "changed" a bit - I stamped it twice and added some more VersaFine Ink between the words. This black space is the perfect background for the fussycut word "bee".

Schwarz, Weiß und eine Farbe nach Wahl...
Das klingt im ersten Moment vielleicht etwas spartanisch, aber wenn man grau als eine "Aufhellung von Schwarz" sieht, entsteht plötzlich ganz viel räumliche Tiefe! Wenn man dann noch eine frische & lebhafte Farbe wie Pink ins Spiel bringt, ist nichts mehr schlicht, oder?
 
Black, white and a color of your choice...
That maybe sounds a bit Spartan, but when you define gray as a "shading of black" you can get lots of dimension! When you add a fresh & vivid color like pink there is nothing homely any more, right?

Über die Karte:
Der Hintergrund ist am Rand mit Malerband maskiert und dann mit Stencil, Distress Oxide Inks und Blending Tool gestaltet. Der Farbverlauf von grau nach schwarz verläuft von oben nach unten. Dazu passend hab ich die drei Blüten ebenfalls in drei Schattierungen von pink gestempelt, von Hand ausgeschnitten und sie dann oben flach, in der Mitte mit 1 mm und unten mit 2 mm 3D-Pads aufgeklebt.
Dadurch entstehen sowohl optische auch auch räumliche Tiefe, die dieser CAS-Karte das gewisse etwas verleihen.

About this card:
The background was masked with painters-tape and then created with stencil, Distress Oxide Inks and blending tool. The shading from gray to black is blended  from top to bottom. In the same direction I prepares the three flowerd from less to more intense shadings of pink, fuzzycut them out and adhered them with different dimensions (top flat - middle 1 mm - bottom 2 mm 3d-pads).
So there is not only the optical but also a spartial depth, which generates a little something to this CAS card.
