K1-1171 - Wild Tiger / Uniko-Release (II)

This card is part of a "set", it means I made two background-papers with one step of "work". In this case I inked my paper through a stencil and then used the stencil for another card I'll show today.

I know, the tiger-pattern in the background is "wrong", cause usually the cat is orange and the stripes are black. I just liked  it this way - with no other reason.

Reminds me of the "penguin-question" I wrote a while ago... Do you know it? Let me know in the comments! 😉

K1-1171 - Wild Tiger

For quiet a while I use cosmetic Blending Brushes now. I found them in our drugstore a while before they got popular in the crafty world, offered by craft companies. But I hadn't bought them immediatelly.
Then I saw several videos on YT with comparisons between the craft and the cosmetic brushes and decided, the less expansive brushed would be ok for me for a first try. 
I'm happy with them (but I have just worked with mine, not with the crafty brushes, maybe they are different?!)
I hadn't big problems with my blending tools before, but with the brushes it's so easy to get a completely soft blending with very soft colour if you want.

Today I layered more ink to get a more intense pattern on my "natural" sprinkled cardstock.

The little tiger is stamped with an old step stemping set from Artemio. It's a funny one, cause you can choose the outline of the cat, the inside and then there are three different patterns available in the set. I've choosen the tiger one - fitting to my background.

On my cardbase I placed two stripes of fabric tape and two stripes of black paper. The distance I measured out to frame the top and the bottom of my front-panel which is added with dimensional tape.

Diesmal gibt's was zu feiern!
Zum Beispiel den Abschluß vom Schuljahr! Hier in Brandenburg haben wir nur noch 2,5 Wochen Schule - am 19.06. gibt's Zeugnisse und dann heißt es "Ab in die Ferien!"!!!

Schon auf dem Umschlag sitzt ein fröhlicher kleiner Frosch, auf der Karte schreit er dann ganz begeistert laut "Hurra" und klimpert mit seinen Wackelaugen!
Im Inneren der Karte hab ich noch ein "Gratulation" gestempelt.

Today we can celebrate!
For example the graduation at the end of the school year! Here in our Federal State (Brandenburg) we have only 2,5 weeks left - we will have school-report day and start of the summer vacations on 19.06.!!!
  On the envelope there is a happy little frog, it shouts a enthusiastic and loud "Hurra" (= "Hooray") and it's blinking with its googly eyes!
On the inside of the card I stamped "Gratulation" (= "congratulations")

Für die "Online Card Classes - Sparkle & Shine" hab ich diese Woche einige Karten gemacht. Auch diese hier.

Über die Karte:

Zuerst hab ich die Blüten in Two-(eher Three-)Step-Stamping-Technik mit Distress Inks und Memento Tuxedo black Ink gestempelt und anschließend mit Wink of Stella Glear Brush beglitzert.
Die Hummel hab ich aus einem Bogen doppelseitiger Klebefolie gestanzt und anschließend mit goldenen Mega-Flakes foliert. Das Aufkleben war hier nun ganz einfach - zweite Folie abziehen und platzieren - fertig (ohne Verschmieren von Flüssigkleber!).
Den Text wollte ich zuerst komplett in gold embossen - aber die kleine Schrift war mit meinem Pulver anschließend kaum lesbar! Nun hab ich sie mit Hilfe meines "HamptonArt Stamp Perfect" zuerst in schwarz gestempelt und dann nur auf den geschwungenen Teil Versa Mark Ink mit dem Markeraufgetragen und erneut gestempelt und mit dem goldenen Pulver bestreut. Nach dem Erhitzen sieht es doch toll aus, oder? Die Zentren der Blüten haben auf diese Weise ebenfalls einige goldene Akzente erhalten.

About this card:

First I stamped the flowers with Two-(rather Three-)Stamp-Technique with Distress Inks and Memento Tuxedo black Ink, then added some glimmer with the Wink of Stella clear brush.
The Bumble-Bee is diecut out of a double-adhesive foil and then covered with golden Mega-Flakes. Was so easy to adhere it on the card - only remove the second foil and place it - ready (without any smearing of a liquid glue!).
My first idea was to heat emboss the whole sentiment in gold - but the tiny letters were not clear readable! So I stamped the sentiment with the help of my "Hampton Art Perfect Stamp" first in black and then I added Versa Mark ink with the Marker only to the script part and added the powder. After heatening it it just looks great, doesn't it? In the same way I added some golden sccents to the centers of the flowers.

Ideen zur Karte:
Wenn man nur eine Hälfte eines Schmetterlingsstempels verwendet, erhält man das Flatterwesen in Seitenansicht. Das ist wohl mit die einfachste Version von "Stretch your Stamps"!
Ideas behind the card:

When you only use the half of a butterfly-stamp you get the fluttering critter in a side-view. Think this is one of the easiest ways to "Stretch your Staps"!

K1-575 - Moments with you

Ich habe heute eine (für mich) neue Challenge entdeckt! Den "Mitmach Mittwoch" bei Projekt Cupcake, bei dem Jennifer, Katrin und Lisa jede Woche einen Mix aus Thema, Farbe und Technik vorgeben.
Die aktuellen Schlüsselwörter (→ und meine Verwendung) lauten:

Thema: (Lisa) F wie Flügel  → Schmetterlinge
 Farbe: (Jennifer) Rot, Rosa → Schmetterlinge, (irisierende Pailletten,) Weiß → Card-Base,  Flügel-Akzente & irisierende Pailletten,  Grau → Schmetterling-Körper & Sentiment und helles Türkis → gewischter Himmel, Scrap-Herz & Pailletten
Technik: (Katrin) Ink Layering → Step-Stamping-Technik

Zuerst entschied ich mich für die Technik: Step-Stamping. Stempel-Sets mit Blumen, Kränzen & Co kamen nicht in Frage, da sie keine Flügel haben *ggg* - Vögel & anderes mit Flügeln hab ich nicht... also fiel die Wahl (?) auf Schmetterlinge!
Die Tintenauswahl war dann nicht mehr weiter schwer - für die Schmetterlinge und den Sentiment hab ich die Premium Dye Inks von Simon Says Stamp verwendet und für den hell-türkisfarbenen Himmel Hero Arts Shadow Inks und das Blending Tool (die Kombination mag ich derzeit sehr gerne!).
In mancherlei Hinsicht bin ich ein Bastel-Messi! Ich schmeiß Die-Cut-Reste immer erst weg, wenn ich das "Haupt-Teil" verarbeitet hab. In einer kleinen Schachtel auf meinem Tisch lagen noch gestanzte Circle Scribbles und jede Menge dieser Cutting-Scraps herum.
Es gibt ja solche Scribble-Heart und -Star-Dies - die hab ich aber (noch?) nicht. Da das eine Papier fast den gleichen Ton wie mein Hintergrund hatte, hab ich probehalber angefangen sie um den Text herum auszulegen. Irgendwie entstand dann das Herz... Hätte nicht gedacht, dass es so einfach geht! -Wenn ich das so geplant gehabt hätte, wäre es sicher nix geworden...- Dann flugs alle Teile aufgeklebt, noch einige Pailletten zugefügt und fertig war das Kärtchen.

K1-454 - Schmetterlings-Glück

Ich hab's nochmal gemacht und gestanztes Moosgummi als Stempel benutzt!
Diesmal hab ich Schmetterlinge in zwei Größen für die Two-Step-Technik gemacht.
Die "gefüllten" Stempel sind mit weißer Pigment-Tinte gestempelt und die filigranen Stempel mit Neonfarben in einem Farbverlauf gelb-orange-rot. Nach dem Stempeln hab ich den kleinen, filigranen "Stempel" geschrumpft und ihn zusammen mit etwas Vellum als Blickfang zwischen den gestempelten Schmetterlingen platziert. Der Banner ist mit unterschiedlich dicken 3D-Pads leicht wellenförmig aufgeklet.

I did it again and used die-cut FunFoam as stamps!
This time I've created Butterfly-Two-Step-Stamps in two sizes.
The solids I stamped with white pigment ink, the delicates with ombré-blending neon-colors in yellow-orange-red. After done this I shrunk the small delicate "stamp" and adhered it onto some vellum as an eye-catcher between the stamped butterflies. The sentiment-Banner with "Viel Glück" (= good luck) is adhered with 3D-Pads in two different sizes in a wavy way.
