K1-921 - Hay there

Bei My Favorite Things kann man sich in vier verschiedenen olympischen Disziplinen im Kartenbasteln beweisen! Aufgabe #4 ist Speed-Cardmaking - man hat nur 20 Minuten Zeit, um eine Karte zu basteln!
"Aller guten Dinge sind drei!" (Der Titel von Reinhard Meys Lied  passt heute!) - Ich bin mit den Viechereien jetzt richtig warm gelaufen und hab sie einfach gleich nochmal verwendet... diesmal aber zusammen mit einer Stencil!
Und hier kommt auch schon meine dritte Speedy Karte!

"The best things come in threes!" (That's the titel of a song of the German Songwriter Reinhard Mey and it fits perfect today!) - I totally warmed up with these critters and so I used them once more... but this time in combination with a stencil!
Here is my third speedy card!

Über die Karte:
Schablone mit dem Malerband zugleich befestigt und auch maskiert, dann etwas flottes Distress Oxide Ink-Blending. Ziege und Heu separat auf Papier gestempelt, mit den Zig Pinseln koloriert und beides ausgeschnitten - das hat wohl fast am längsten gedauert bei der Karte!
Text passend zum Heu in gelb heat embossed und mit den Enamel-Stickern in Winkelform noch etwas aufgepeppt. Dann musste ich nur noch Ziege und Heu augkleben und... Fertig!

About this card:

Stencil was in the same time fixed and masked with the painters tape. I did some quick Distress Oxide Ink-blending. Goat and hay were stamped on a piece of cardstock, coloured with the Zig pencils and fussycut out - this took most of the time of this card I think!
The sentiment was heat embossed in yellow, like the hay, and then embellished with some chevron enamel stickers. Then just need to adhere the goat and hay and... Ready!

"Das klingt nach Spaß!" dachte ich mir und hab mal flott durch meine MFT-Materialien geschaut, was sich eignen könnte, hab mir ganz kurz einige Gedanken gemacht, was ich in etwa machen möchte, hab dann nur das Stempelset und Stanzen-Sets bereitgelegt und dann lief auch schon der Timer...!

"This sounds like fun!" I thought and looked through my MFT-supplies which stuff I could use, tried to figure out quickly what I want to create, put only the stamp-set and the die-sets on my desk and then the timer started...!

Über die Karte:
Da bei der Speed-Cardmaking-Challenge nur 20 Minuten zur Verfügung standen, ist diese Karte in der Herstellung eher simpel ausgefallen - CAS par excellence sozusagen!  
Die beiden Kreise und die Herzen sind ausgestanzt, der Text in rot heat embossed und das Schweinchen gestempelt und ganz einfach koloriert - hab nur einige Schattierungen gesetzt, damit es nicht so flach ausschaut, das Moppelchen. 
Dann alles arrangiert, auf die Karte geklebt und die oberen Ecken noch abgerundet. Cut! Ein Blick auf die Uhr sagte mir, dass ich noch 3 Min 20 Sec übrig hatte! Genug Zeit, um den Herzen noch eine Schicht Glossy Accents zu verpassen für das gewisse Etwas....

About this card:

Cause you have only 20 minutes to create a card in the speed cardmaking challenge this card is a more simple creation - so to speak CAS par excellence!
Both circles and the hearts are die cut, the sentiment is heat embossed in red and the pig stamped and coloured in a very simple way - just added some shadows to get a bit of a dimensional look for this little chubby guy.
Everything arranged, adhered to the cardbase then rounded the corners. Cut! A look to the watch told me, I had still 3 minutes 20 seconds left! That was enough time to put a layer of Glossy Accents to the hearts as something special...

Ich war selbst überrascht! Zum einen darüber, wie schnell doch die Zeit verfliegt wenn man Spaß hat! Aber zum anderen auch, dass man ohne in Hektik zu geraten selbst in so kurzer Zeit eine akzeptable Karte werkeln kann!
Großer Vorteil: man erreicht das Ziel "CAS" zu basteln recht einfach, da gar nicht so viel Zeit zur Verfügung steht, mehr zu machen! 
(Vielleicht sollte ich mir hier für CAS-Cahllenges mal öfters einen Timer laufen lassen...)

I was so surprised! On the one side how fast times run over when you have fun! But on the other side how easy it is to create an aceptable card in such a short time without hecticness!
Big deal: you can craft in a CAS style without any problem - cause you havn't time to do more!
(Maybe I should set a timer for CAS-challenges more often...)

Jetzt ist es schon eine Woche her, dass ich die Karte gebastelt hab und erst heute komme ich dazu, sie euch hier zu zeigen! Es gab zu viel Familien-Krims-Krams zu erledigen...
Bei der Task for Two Tuesday Challenge #70 geht es um "Kullerkarten/Slidercards" oder SpinnerCards.
Die coolen Chubby Chums von Paper Smooches sind alle sehr rundlich - daher perfekt zum herum-kullern geeignet! - Ich hab den Hund losgeschickt, damit er sich etwas austobt und Spaß und Freude verbreitet!

Ideen zur Karte:
Ich denke, der Weg von der Katze zum rollenden Wollknäuel ist nicht sehr weit... Und Bewegung lässt sich am besten mit einer Spinning-Karte umsetzen, oder?

Ideas behind the card:
I think the way from a cat to a rolling ball of wool isn't long... And movement may be realized in the easiest way in a spinning-card, right?

Wörtlich genommen!
"Felt" bedeutet im englischen ja sowohl "gefühlt", als auch "Filz". → All die kleinen Herzchen auf der Karte sind aus Filz gestanzt.
Anstatt normaler Embossing-Paste hab ich Glitzerkleber verwendet...

Gestern hat die neue Online Card Class "Background Check" angefangen (sie endet am Freitag 08-07). Wie ihr ja wisst, kann man immer noch einsteigen - jetzt (um aktiv in den Gallerien und Foren teilzunehmen) oder auch später (dann jedoch nur noch zum Lernen, Lesen und Anschauen).

Yesterday the new Online Card Class "Background Check" started (it will last until Friday, 08-07). There is still time to check in - now (for active participation in the galleries and forums) or later (just to learn, read and watch).


Ich denke in den kommenden Tagen werden ich mehr Bilder von den Entstehungs-Prozessen zeigen, denn schließlich stehen jetzt die Hintergründe im Vordergrund, oder?

To finish the card I cut the wave-paper and added some colorful Origami-Fishes, some glossy bubbles and the handwritten sentiment.

The use of the Baby wipes has brought only a little effect on the watercolor paper, so I sprayed water onto the paper and patted the (now colored) water immediatelly away with a paper towel.

Wie ihr wisst, liebe ich es, mit meinem Material zu experimentieren.
Vor einigen Wochen hab ich bereits einen Hintergrund mit Holo-Embossing-Paste in zwei unterschiedlichen Farben gestaltet - einmal in original durchsichtig und dann mit türkiser Tinte gemischt. Diese Technik benötigte die doppelte Trocknungszeit, aber ich denke, die hat sich gelohnt!
Letzte Woche kamen einige neue maritime Stempel bei mir an :-) und jetzt konnte ich die Karte endlich fertigstellen!

You know, I love to stretch my materials.
Some weeks ago I made a background by using a holo-embossing-paste in two different colores - one time the original translucent one and then mixed with turquoise re-inker. This technique needed double drying-time, but I think it was worth this time!
Last week I got some new maritime-stamps :-) and now I could finish this card!

Letzte Woche hab ich ja einige Scheinchen im Meer versenkt - Big Wishes - heute werden die "Mäuse" eingetütet!

Last week I plunged some little banknotes in the ocean - Big Wishes - today the "bucks" are enveloped.

 

One German colloquial saying for money is "Mäuse" = mice! The translation of "Hier sind ganz viele Mäuse drin" is " Lots of mice inside here".
