Uniko Challenge #47

Hey! Welcome to the May/June, 2018 Uniko challenge. 

This month we have a beautiful photo with lots of ways to be inspired by - the colours, the flowers, the grasses, the gorgeous vase or maybe the suitcase will give you a vacation vibe. Any way this photo talks to you is ok by us, but if you'd like an extra challenge then play along with our super simple twist of BIRTHDAY.

Jetzt ist schon der letzte Tag der Einführungs- und BlogHop Woche der Uniko Mai-Veröffentlichungen!
Es gibt jetzt noch eine weitere Erweiterung zu bereits erschienenen Stempelsets - die "Explosion Collection Designer Stanzen"!
Das Stanzen-Set passt zu den beiden Explosions-Stempelsets "Explosion!" und "Explosion! Additions" und schneidet sowohl die großen Schriftzüge und auch die Explosionssterne aus.
Die Stempel und Stanzen sind ab morgen sowohl ewinzeln als auch al Set im Uniko-Shop!

It's already the last day of the Introducing and BlogHop Week of Unikos May-Release!

We have another add-on to a previously released stamp set now - the "Explosion Collection Designer Dies" and these dies cut the big letterings and also all the explosion stars from the "Explosion!" and the "Explosion! Additions" stamp sets.
There will be the option to buy all the supplies single or as a set beginning tomorrow in the Uniko-Shop!

Über die Karte:
Diese ist eine echte "easy-to-make" Karte!
Die große Explosion in Neon-Orange und im Zentrum etwas Neon-Rot stempeln, Neon-Gelb mit einem BlendingTool auf und um diesen Stern herum auftragen. Den Stern ausstanzen. Die beiden Schriftzüge in schwarz stempeln, den großen mit Stabilo-Markern kolorieren und mit Wink of Stella beglittern. Das Papier auf die Kartengröße zuschneiden und mit 3D-Tape (2mm dick) auf die Karte aufkleben. Den Explosionsstern jetzt flach in die Öffnung einkleben.
Jetzt nur noch die kleine Superheldin stempeln, ausschneiden und colorieren (Ränder schwärzen nicht vergessen!) und aufkleben (Beine mit 3D-Tape, Kopf flach).
Fertig!

About this card:

That's absolutly an "easy-to-make" card!
Stamp the big explosion in neon-orange with a bit of neon red in the center. Then add some neon-yellow on and around this stamped starburst with a blending tool. Die cut the star. Stamp the lettering and the sentiment with black ink. Colour the lettering with Stabilo Markers and add some Wink of Stella glitter. Cut the paper down to the size of your cardbase and adhere it with 3D-tape (2mm thick). add the star into the opening with a flat glue.
Stamp, fussycut and colour the little Hero (don't forget to colour the edges black) and place it on the card (legs with 3D-tape and head flat).
Ready!

Ein neuer Tag der New Release-BlogHop Woche bei Uniko Stamps!

Heute zeigen wir euch eine fabelhafte Erweiterung zu einem bereits erschienenen Stempelset - die "Originally Organic Additions Designer Stanzen"!
Das Set ist fantastisch, denn es beinhaltet neben den Blüten und Blättern gleich zwei Herz-Formen - eine für die Innenkante und eine zweite für die Außenkante. Man kann sie einzeln oder auch kombiniert verwenden und hat damit jede Menge Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten!

Über die Karte:
Ich hab ein dimensionales Herz gemacht, es mit einigen weiteren Blättern und einigen heiß embossten Blüten verziert und einige Pailletten verzeilt.
Das war's schon! Eine echte "easy-to-make" Karte!

About this card:

I created a dimensional heart and just embellished it with some more leaves and some heat embossed flowers, sprinkeled some sequins around.
That's it! Really an "easy-to-make" card!

Eine One Layer Karte, etwas Masking, Ink Blending und anschließend noch Text und Rahmen in schwarz gestalten. Akzente mit einem Glimmer-Gelstift, einigen farblich passenden Enamel Dots und dezenten Pailletten.

About this card:

A One Layer Card, some Masking, Ink Blending, then a sentiment and a frame in black ink. Some Accents with a glimmer gel pen, some colour-fitting enamel dots and some translucent sequins.

Über die Karte:
Oft tu ich mich etwas schwer mit ganz "simplen" One Layer Karten, da ist dann häufig das Gefühl, es würde noch was fehlen... Bei dieser Karte ist das anders - und ich hab wirklich nur die Kartenbasis, Stencil, Stempel und etwas Farbe verwendet - nichts weiter!
Der Hintergrund ist mit der Honeycomb Stencil und Distress Oxide Inks gestaltet. Ich hab einen Farbverlauf mit drei Gelbtönen gestaltet, dann die Stencil um 180° gedreht und nochmal Farbe aufgetragen (gedreht, damit ich nicht die dunklere Farbe in den hellen Bereich einarbeite).
Anschließend noch die Biene und die Text-Teile in schwarz gestempelt. Der Biene mit einem gelben Marker, etwas Glitter und einer dünnen Schicht Glossy Accents Leben eingehaucht und ferig war das Kärtchen!
Quick, simple und doch mit jeder Menge optischer Tiefe!

About this card:
Often I have problems with the really "simple" one layer cards, often I have the feeling, something is missing... With this card it's totally different - and I just used the cardbase, stencil, stamps and some colours - nothing else!
The background is created with the Honeycomb Stencil and some Distress Oxide Inks. I made an ombre-effect with three shads of yellow, turned the stencil 180° and added more colour (I turned the stencil to avoid mixing the darker shade into the brighter area).
Then I stamped the bee and the sentiment-pieces in black ink. With a yellow marker, some glimmer and a thin layer of Glossy Accents I activated the bee andthe card was finished!
Qucik, simple and with lots of optical dimension!

In den letzten Tagen habt ihr schon die Sneak Peeks der neuen Uniko Produkte zu sehen bekommen. Ab heute gibt's täglich einen BlogHop voller Inspirationen durch das Designteam! 
Als erstes präsentieren wir die Simply Said Blocks II Stempel und die Natures Treasures II Stencil.

Über die Karte:
Ich habe sowohl die Blätter als auch die Blüten mit Aquarell-Buntstiften gestaltet.
Dafür hab ich die Umrandungen der Blätter einfach mit Hilfe der Schablone nachgezogen und dann mit den Stiften schraffier. Farbübergänge lassen sich so ganz einfach gestalten, denn bei Kontakt mit Wasser (feuchter Pinsel genügt!) lösen sich die Farben ganz leicht und vermischen sich.
Die Blüten hab ich nach dem Stempeln mit weißem Pulver embosst und anschließend mit violett und rosa gestaltet.
Die Ränder meiner Kartenbasis hab ich mit dem selben violett coloriert.
Als Text hab ich mich für einen Genesungswunsch entschieden (da hier zur Zeit leider einige Leute noch mit Frühlings-Erkrankungen kämpfen...) und ihn mit farblich passender Tinte gestempelt.
Einige kleine, flache und transparente Pailletten runden das Bild ab.

About this card:
I created the leaves and the flowers with watercolour pencils.
For the leaves I simply traced the lines of the stencil and hatched the areas. It's so easy to blend the colours together this way, cause they mix easily when they get in contact with water (a humid pencil is enough!).
After I stamped the flowers I heat embossed them with white powder and coloured them with a violett and pale pink watercolour pencil.
I also coloured the edges of my white cardbase with the violett pencil and some water.
As sentiment I took the "Get Well" (we have some spring time sick people around...) and stamped it in a matching ink colour.
Some small flat translucent sequins finished the card.

The Countdown for the New Release from Uniko has started!

Beverley planned to spend some giveaways around Social Media to celebrate the New Release and also her birthday month with all of you!

Those who attended the Uniko Stamping Retreat in December 2017 will recognise this Uniko Stencil peek! This month sees the official release of this stencil, which coordinates with a previously released Uniko clear stamp set?
