It's the first day of our Introducing-time for the 7th Birthday & February Release!

Today I show you the BIG & BOLD Happy Clear Stamps & coordinating Designer Dies!

This is my take on this new set! 

I just used the "BIG & BOLD - happy" stamps, the dies you'll see on one of the next Intro Days.

The set includes not only the BIG happy stamp, but also 10 fitting sentiment pieces and a bunch of decorative elements like the little party head I used.

To make my card a reminder for our big 7th Birthday Linky Party with only condition to create a birthday card, I combined the happy with a birthday stamp.
Then I added the little heads and some star-sequins, embellished the stars with some color-fitting Nuvo-Drops and the card was ready to spread happiness to someone who turned NOT 29 again... 

(This card is gender- and age-less, but some good vibes are perfect for EVERY birthday card, aren't they?)

I masked the area of the stamped sentiment on the stencil.

Über diese Karte:
Ich hab mir selbst di Aufgabe gestellt, die Scattered Polka Dots Stencil zusammen mit vielen bunten Pailletten zu verwenden.
Als eine Möglichkeit kam mir in den Sinn, eine klare, glitzernde Embossingpaste als eine Art Kleber zu werwenden und einfach die Pailletten in die feuchte Paste zu legen und abzuwarten, bis alles fest ist...
Gute Idee, nur trocknete die Paste zu schnell! Also hab ich einen Teil der Pailletten dann noch mit einem Tropfen klaren Klebers auf den glitzernden Punkten befestigt.
Jetzt sind es regenbogenfarbige Konfetti-Pailletten!

About this card:

I challenged myself with the task of combining the Polka Dot Stencil with lots of Sequins.
The easiest way I thought could be this: use clear or glittery embossing paste as a glue and just put the sequins in the wet paste and they would be adhered after drying...
Good idea, but the paste dried to fast! So I ended up with a small drop of translucent glue on every sparkling spot of embossing paste.
Now they are colorful confetti-sequins!
Translation of the German sentiment "Lass dich feiern" = "Let's celebrate you".

Karten für Kindergeburtstage sind ja oft recht leicht zu gestalten: bunt und fröhlich sind die Haupt-Zutaten, dazu vielleicht noch etwas mit Bewegung und der Empfänger ist glücklich!

Bei Karten für Kleinkinder wird's da schon schwieriger... Keine Kleinteile, die abfallen könnten (Gefahr von Verschlucken). Nichts, was zu leicht zerpflückt werden kann. ...

Cards for kids are easy: colorful and funny are the most important ingredients. Some kind of movement or action and the recipient is happy!

Cards for toddlers are a bit more difficult... No small pieces which could fall off (choking hazard). Nothing delicate that could be damaged to easy. ...

Daher hab ich meine Geburtstagskarte für den gerade zwei Jahre alt gewordenen Jannis "flach" gehalten, ohne weitere Verzierungen.

Der Hintergrund besteht aus buntem Splatter-"Konfetti".

Die Waldtier-Freunde sind mit Copics koloriert und dann von Hand ausgeschnitten und flächig aufgeklebt (ohne 3D pads).

Ein blaues Papier rahmt den bunt gestalteten Vordergrund gegen die weiße Kartenbasis.

So I made a flat birthday card for Jannis who turned two last week, without any embellishments.

The background is made with colorful splatter-confetti.

The forest animal friends are coloured with Copics then fussycut out and adheres flat (without dimensional pads).

A blue paper frames the colourful layer against the white cardbase.

Bei My Favorite Things kann man sich in vier verschiedenen olympischen Disziplinen im Kartenbasteln beweisen! Aufgabe #4 ist Speed-Cardmaking - man hat nur 20 Minuten Zeit, um eine Karte zu basteln!
Nachdem meine erste Karte so fix fertig war, hab ich gleich noch eine gemacht. Das Stempelset und die Kreis-Stanzen lagen ja auch noch da - lag also Nahe, beides noch einmal zu verwenden...
Wieder kurz überlegt was ich machen möchte und dann tickte der Timer auch schon wieder...!
Die Übersetzung des englischen Spruches "Let's party 'till the cows come home" = "Feiern, bis die Kühe heimkommen!"  macht so im Deutschen vielleicht nicht ganz so viel Sinn - aber die Bedeutung ist vermutlich allen klar. Kühe gehen in den Stall, um gemolken zu werden, ergo stehen die Milchkannen bereit!

On the My Favorite Things blog you can demonstrate your cardmaking abilities in four different olympic events! Challenge #4 is Speed Cardmaking - you have just 20 minutes for a card!
After my first card was finished so quickly I decided immediatelly to make one more. The stamp-set and the circle dies were still on the table so it was obvious to use them again...
Figured out what I want to do and then the timer was on the run again...! 
When the cows come home, they will be milked, so the big milk bottles are ready to be filled!

I like the sentiment and I had an idea of the layout in my mind. The crafting was quick again, but I needed 5 seconds too much! But I hope this isn't too much...
