Diese Möwen-Karte hab ich vergangenes Wochenende gemacht.

In der "Create A Smile - Friends and family" Facebook Gruppe gab es zum ersten Mal eine Rudel-Inspiration! Aufgabenstellung war es, eine in der Gruppe gepostete Karte als Inspirationsquelle zu nehmen und (wenn möglich) mit dem Stempelset Möwen-Gang neu zu gestalten.

War gar nicht so einfach! Es gibt da so viele tolle Karten zu sehen!
Ich habe schließlich eine süße Bienen-Karte von Angelique de Groot verwendet (in der Gruppe am 23.07.2023 gepostet).
Mir gefällt bei ihrer Karte unter anderem der Aufbau. Ein Layer dunkleres Papier mit distresstem Rand im Hintergrund und dazu unterschiedlich hoch gewachsenen Blümchen....
Ich hab das Layout um 90° gedreht, anstelle der Blumen Fische gestempelt und anstelle des gestencilten Hintergrunds ganz oft den Möwen-Spruch "Meins!" verwendet. Farbigkeit kommt bei mir durch die Regenbogen-Fische ins Spiel...

Last week I made this gull-card.

There was an inspitational Challenge in the Facebook Group "Create A Smile - Friends and family" for the very  first time.
We were asked to use a card posted in the group and case it. If possible we should use the Create a Smile stamp set "Gull Gang" in our creation.

Wasn't that easy! Too many great cards to choose from!
I found a sweet bee card from Angelique de Groot (posted in the group on 23.07.2023).
Among other things I like the layout of her card. One layer darker paper with distressed edges in the background and several flowerd with different height...
I turned the Layout 90°, changed the flowers into little fishes and the stenciled background pattern into the word "Meins!" = "Mine!". The row of fish brings some colors on the card.

K1-1119 - Origami für Dich

Vor kurzem hatte ich bereits eine Karte mit Origami-Kranichen hier gezeigt.
Ich hatte viele Kraniche in verschiedenen Farben gefaltet und dann mehrere Karten angefertigt - auch diese hier.

Die Farben der Kraniche werden nach oben hin intensiver. Die kleinen Glücksbringer kommen von "weit her" (ganz blass) und erreichen im richtigen Moment, wenn sie am intensivsten gefärbt sind, den Glückwunsch-Text.

Recently I showed a card with origami cranes here.
I made many cranes in different colors and was able to craft several cards - also this one.

The colors of the cranes get more intense to the top. The little lucky charms come from "far away" (light shade) and reach the sentiment "für Dich" = "for you" in the right moment, when they have the most intense color.

Heute findet ihr auf dem Uniko-Blog einen neuen BrandAmbassador-Post von mir.

I havn't used any fancy techniques for this card. 

Simple stamping with VersaMark Ink and heat embossing with white Embossing Powder.

Watercolouring with the Clean Color Real Brushes from Zig (wet in wet colouring).

A bit of fussy cutting. 

And finally layering and adhering everything together. 

That's it!

I created and coloured three Daffodil pictures almost one year ago... two of them I used for cards immediatelly after, the third one had to wait a really long time in my "half-finished stuff"-box with all the created background papers, coloured images and many more great items! 

But now it's springtime again and this beautiful flower finally found its home on a card!

 As I mentioned in the other post of today, I made a second card with the Scattered Polka Dot Stencil of Uniko.

This card was a bit of a mess, but like always messy crafting means lots of fun!
I used a thicker watercolour paper and spread a clear empossing paste ober the stencil. Then I sprinkled a little bit of  colourful Brusho powder ofer it and went over the area with my palette knife again.
After the paste was dry I used a wet brush to "remove" the micro-powder whick was on the paper. The powder got this nice light pink colour which is a great contrast to the deeper red and glossy dots.

After the thick paper was dry, I cut the strip, rounded the bottom corners and added it to the cardbase. The top area is adhered flat, the middle with 1 mm dimensional pads and the bottom with 2 mm dimensional pads.

The sentiment is stamped on a pice of white paper, I cut it, rounded the corners and adhered it flat on the watercolour paper.

This card was a really quick one for me!
I used the leftover of a self-coloured embossing paste to create the polka dot background. Stencils are perfect for so many techniques!

After the paste was dry I cut the piece of paper in size and added it to my my cardbaste. The sentiment I stamped on a white thin cardstock and added a layer of a matching red cardstock beneath.

And I was finished with this quick birthday card! Yay!

Ich habe hier mit den Embossingpulver Farben "gespielt".

Am besten geht diese Technik, wenn man ein StampingTool zum aufklappen verwendet, da man dann in aller Ruhe und immer wieder Bereiche mit Versamark Ink versehen und mit dem entsprechenden Pulver versehen kann. Nach jedem Pulver-Auftrag unbedingt erhitzen, um ungewollte Farbvermischungen zu vermeiden!

So wird dann die Farbe in mehreren Schichten aufgetragen (ich hab nicht mitgezählt.... )

Meine Pfingstrose hab ich hauptsächlich in weiß und rosa-Tönen gehalten.

Hier gibt's ein Beispiel für eine wunderschöne weiß-rosa Pfingstrose.

 

Here I "played" with the embossing powder colours.
This technique works best when you can use a stamping platform with a swinging flap, cause you can prepare areas again and again with Versamark ink and powder. Heat it up after every powder-step to avoid unwanted colour-mixing.

The colours are added in several layers (havn't count how many...)

For my peonies I used white and several shades of pink.

K1-1022 - Merry Kissmas I

Mistelzweige gehören für mich schon seit meiner Kindheit zu Weihnachten dazu!
Ich erinnere mich noch, wie ich mit meinem Dad losfuhr, um in den Streuobstwiesen der Umgebung welche zu finden, die zum einen eine gewisse Größe hatten und zum anderen ohne lange Leiter erreichbar waren.  😉
Die Küsse unter dem Mistelzweig kamen dann erst deutlich später dazu...  😘

Mistletoes and Christmas belong together for me since I was a kid!
I can remember my dad and me driving through the areas around searching for them. They needed a certain size and reachable growing places (without a ladder).  😉

The kisses beneath the mistletoes happened considerably later...  😘

K1-1273 - grüne Weihnachten

Mein zweites Kärtchen ist ganz schlicht und eher abstrakt geworden...

Das Stanzen-Set Weihnachten x3 hab ich in drei unterschiedlichen Grüntönen ausgestanzt und dann schichtweise wieder zusammengefügt:
* oben ist ist nur die Rahmenschrift in dem hellsten Grünton
* in der Mitte der Rahmen im mittleren Grünton, mit hellgrünen Füllungen
* unten ist dann der dunkelgrüne Rahmen mit mittelgrünen Füllungen und die Schrift ist hellgrün hinterlegt.

In den Reihen der Wörter habe ich links in drei Grüntönen das Wort "frohe" gestempelt - immer passend zur Farbe des gestanzten Wortes.
Mit einigen Pailletten hab ich am Ende das abstrakte Layout noch ein wenig aufgelockert.

I cut out the sentiment die-set of three different shades of green (it's also available in English: Cool Cuts: Christmas x3!) and then layered them back together:
* In the first row, there is only the frame-scrips in the brightest of my colours.
* In the second row the frame is in middle green and the fillings in light green.
* And in the third row the frame is in darker green, the filling in middle green and beneath this script ts a layer of the light green.

I stampe the word "frohe" = "merry" in front of the final places of the die cut words - also in three shades of green.
Some green sequins mix up the abstract layout a bit.
