Eine dicke Umarmung, ein Lächeln, ein paar Ballons, vielleicht ein kleines Geschenk - das sind schon alle Zutaten für eine tolle Geburtstags-Überraschung. Und natürlich ein Kärtchen dazu!

A big (hedge-)hug, a smile, some balloons, maybe a little present - that's enough to create a fantastic birthday surprise. And for sure, an additional little card!

Bis zum Valentinstag ist es ja noch etwas hin (immerhin noch vier Wochen)... aber man kann (und sollte!) ja auch an jedem anderen Tag den Menschen, die wichtig für einen sind, sagen oder zeigen, dass es so ist - oder?

Four more weeks until it's St.Valentine's Day ... but you can (and probably should!) show or tell your beloved ones on every other day of the year that they are important for you - right?

Ideen zu dieser Karte:
Diesmal hab ich die Digistamps nicht direkt oder mit einem kleinen Rand ausgeschnitten, sondern gleich in der Herzform. Das rote Herz aus Cardstock ein wenig größer geschnitten (man sieht auf dem Bild noch die Außenlinie des weißen Herzens als Orientierungshilfe) und anschließend den Rand mit klarem Embossingpulver überzogen.
Der Rest war absolut easy: zurechtgeschnittenen Cardstock in Holz-Optik und die beiden Herzen auf die Kartenbasis kleben. Da die Igel schon die kleinen Herzchen mitbringen, hab ich diesmal auf weitere Verzierungen (Pailletten & Co) verzichtet.

Ideas to this card:
This time I didn't cut the digistamps on the line or with a small edge, I cut them together with the big heart. The red heart I cut slightly bigger (you can see my guideline - the shape of the white one), then heat embossed the edge of the heart with clear powder.
Finishing everything was super easy: only mount the cut woodgrain-cardstock and the two hearts on the cardbase. I disclaimed to add more embellishments (sequins or others) cause the hedgehogs came with these tiny hearts and I think that's enough!

K1-580 - Folder-Stamped #2 - für dich

Bei Happy Little Stampers lautet das Thema der CAS-Challenge diesen Monat "Embossing-Folder-Stamping".
Ich hab's gleich zweimal probiert und es sind zwei Karten mit ähnlichem Motiv entstanden. - Das eine Mal hab ich Distress Inks plus fein versprühtes Wasser verwendet, das andere Mal Copic Marker und fein versprühten Isopropanol-Alkohol.

Happy Little Stampers has "Embossing-Folder-Stamping" as CAS-Challenge-Theme this month.
I tried it twice and the result were two cards with similar designs. - One time I used Distress Inks and nebulised water, the other time Copic Marker and nebulised isopropanol.
