Weihnachten ist ja gerade erst vorbei, da können gut noch einige Karten mit Weihnachts-Thema gezeigt werden... oder?

Der Text dieser Karte ist aus einem der neuen weihnachtlichen Dialekt-Sets von Christine Drogt & "Create A Smile".
Es heißt "Baum is feddich" und ist mit Texten ausm Ruhrpott.
Der hier verwendete ist "Kumma, wat dat schön glitzat!"

Christmas passed by only a few days ago, so it's no problem to show some more christmas-themed cards... right?
The sentiment on this card is written in a German dialect from an area in the middle-west of Germany - the company "Create a Smile" and the owner and designer Christine Drogt are located in Duisburg, right there. 
This new set for Christmas (and also other occasion) is called "Baum is feddich" (dialect) = "Baum ist fertig" (standard German) = "Tree is prepared".

The sentiment is "Kumma, wat dat schön glitzat!" (dialect) = "Kuck/Schau mal, wie schön das glitzert!" (standard German) = "Look, what a beautiful sparkling!"

K1-1165 - Perfect Paradise / Uniko-Intro (2-I)

In my card I used the "Sentiments Outline" set (we introduced it yesterday) again (it's so versatile!).

K1-1165 - Perfect Paradise

For the background stamping I masked the front of my cardbase with some painters tape. I put the big background stamp in my Stamping Tool and inked it up with both shades of green ink in one step, the center with the light green and the edges with the darker one. 
The stamping tool allowes to repeat the stamping if the colour spreading wouldn't be like it was planned. A great little help just in case you need it!

The leaves were stamped with VersaMark Ink and heat embossed with clear Embossing Powder on green cardstock, then fussycut out. The big leaves of the Monstera Plant look the same, with a kind of smooth and waxy surface with a soft gloss. They were adhered on the card with tape runner.

The Toucan is coloured with Copic Markers, its beak covered with a layer of Glossy Accents. I adhered the body on the card with tape runner and the beak with thin 1 mm 3D pads for an outstanding effect.

The last object I created was the sentiment. I stamped it with Versamark Ink and used two different colours of Embossing Powder. To avoid a mix of the powders in my boxes, I first melted one colour, stamped with VersaMark again and added the second colour (again I used my Stamping Tool to get the exact same spot for the stamping). After I cut it and rounded the corners I adhered it in the front with 2 mm 3D pads.

I hadn't time to go to the zoo these days, so I searched online for pictures of Toucan birds. This one I liked and tried to catch it with my colouration.

Hier in Teltow haben wir eine Kirschblüten-Allee, die nach dem Fall der Mauer entlang des alten Grenzstreifen zwischen Süd-Berlin und Brandenburg angelegt wurde. Die über 1000 Bäume waren damals ein Geschenk aus Japan.
Seit einigen Jahren wird hier jedes Jahr Ende April das Hanami Kirschblütenfest gefeiert. Dieses Jahr hatte ich dort zum ersten Mal einen Stand mit Karten und Origami-Werken! 😍
Extra für den Markt hab ich noch einige Hanami-Karten hergestellt. Einige davon mit gefalteten Origami-Figuren...

Here in Teltow we have a Cherry-Alley, placed along the old border between south Berlin and Brandenburg. All the trees, more than 1000, were a donation from Japan.
At the end of April we celebrate the Hanami Cherry Blossom Festival there. This year I had a booth there with cards and Origami-creations for the first time! 😍
Especially for the market I crafted some special Hanami cards. Some of them with folded Origami-creatures...
