K1-907 - fly by balloons

 Heute ist ein großer Tag für mich!

Denn seit heute gibt es bei Uniko ein ganz neues Stencil DesignTeam und ich bin Teil davon!!! Ist das nicht wunderbar?!
Ein ganz dickes "Dankeschön" an Beverley für, die Möglichkeit, hier mitwirken zu dürfen!

Ich freu mich total auf die Zusammenarbeit mit Sarah G, Julie und Linda im Stencil-DT und natürlich neben Beverley selbst auch allen Mitgliedern des Stemepel-DTs!
Danke an alle für die herzliche Aufnahme in die "Uniko-Familie"!

Ich hoffe, ich kann euch einige tolle und vielleicht auch neue Techniken zeigen, was man mit Stencils alles anstellen kann! - Lasst euch inspirieren und macht mit!

This is a big day for me!

A brand new Uniko Stencil Design Team was founded and starts today and I'm part of it!!! Isn't that amazing?!

Big "Thank You" to Beverley who offered me the possibility to join in! 

I'm looking forward to work and craft together with  Sarah G, Julie and Linda in the Stencil-DT and for sure also Beverley and beside her all the members of the whole Stamp-DT!

Thanks to everybody for the warm welcome into the "Uniko-family"!

Ich habe für heute zwei Stencil-Karten vorbereitet - einen Frühlingsgruß und einen (verspäteten) Geburtstagsglückwunsch. Alle Infos über Herstellung und Materialien findet ihr weiter unten.

Luftballon-Post ist ja nicht gerade der sicherste Weg, um etwas zu versenden... da kann's schon mal zu Verspätungen kommen...
Immer gut, ein solches Kärtchen zur Hand zu haben, damit's nicht zu noch größeren Verzögerungen kommt!

I prepared two stencil-cards for today - one with a spring-greeting and one with (delayed) birthday wishes. All information about the crafting-proces and the materials you see below.

Balloon-post isn't the safest way to send something... delay in delivery is possible...
Always a good idea to have such a card in your cardbox to avoid a bigger hesitation!

Über die Karte:
Ich hab mit der Wonky Stripes Stencil von Uniko, einem Emboss-it Dabber und einem Mix aus Embossing-Pulvern (Reste eines anderen Projekts) eine Art blauen Himmel gestaltet. Dafür hab ich die Schablone mit meinem Tesa Malerband gleichzeitigt fixiert und auch maskiert.
Die Luftballons sind mit Distress Inks gestempelt und ebenfalls maskiert.
Als Abschluß hab ich noch den weißen Schriftzug auf schwarzes Papier embossed und dann einen dimensionales Spruchband zugeschnitten, gefaltet und mit 2 mm 3D-Pads auf der Karte befestigt.
 

About this card:

I created kind of a blue sky with the Wonky Stripes Stencil from Uniko, an Emboss-it Dabber and a mix of embossing powders (was the left-over from another project). Therefor I fixed and masked the stencil in one step with my Tesa painters tape.
The balloons are stamped with DistressInks and i masked them too.
To finish the card I stamped and heat embossed the white sentiment on black cardstock, then cut and folded a dimensional banner and adhered it with 2 mm 3D-pads on the card.

K1-552 - Marmelade im Schuh

Was könnte es besseres geben, als ein neues Lebensjahr mit einer witzigen Geburtstagskarte zu beginnen? Das versüßt einem doch die Tragik des Älterwerdens und bringt einen zum Schmunzeln. ;-)

Gut geeingnet, wenn man mal das zeitige Absenden verpennt hat...

Is there anything better than starting a new year of life with a funny card? This can sweeten the tragedy of ageing and let you smile. ;-)

The sentiment is a funny German rhyme to the melody of "Happy Birthday to you... jam in the shoe" (kids are singing this since 30 or maybe 40 years ago up to today) and Christine (Create A Smile Stamps) made a stamp with it! The second part of the sentiment is "oups, too late..."

Perfect when you missed to send it to the right date......
