Und schließlich entstand dann doch noch was Neues:

Taufe, Kommunion und Konfirmation sind nur einige von vielen kirchlichen Festen, zu denen man ja hin und wieder eingeladen wird.
Dafür schöne Karten zu finden ist meiner Meinung nach nicht so leicht, da sie oft entweder viel zu viel Schnörkel haben oder aber eher zum Alter der Kirche als zu dem des Beschenkten passen... (zumindest die aus den einschlägigen Glückwunschkarten-Sortimenten).

Ich habe mich mal daran versucht, dem entgegenzuwirken!
Für meine Karte verwendete ich eine fröhliche und farbenfrohe Kombination aus drei christlichen Symbolen: Kreuz, Fische und Regenbogen. Mit etwas Gold und Glitter habe ich dem Ganzen noch eine edle Note verliehen.

Never mind if you are invited or just wanna give a small congratulation-gift: You need a card! To find a pleasant card in one of the stationery shops is not easy - cause there are either tons of curlicues and embellishments on it or they fit more to the age of the church than to the age of the presentee... (at least if you have no good and special shop near to your house).

So I tried to countervail!
I used a brightly and colorful combination out of three christian symbols: the Cross, fishes and rainbow. With some gold and glitter I gave it a precious touch.

Die Schablonen für das Kreuz und die Fische hab ich selbst entworfen.
Aus optischen Gründen hab ich 7 und nicht die im Regenbogen vorkommenden 6 Farben verwendet.
Gleich doppelt belebt werden die Fische durch den dynamischen Schwung und die wachsende Distanz zur Kartenebene.
Die kirchliche Symbolik von Fischen und die Zugehörigkeit zu einer Gruppe Gleichgesinnter (Schwarm) runden die Karte noch ab.

The stencils for the Cross and the fishes are self-made.
Only for optical causes I used 7 colors instead of the 6 colors of a real rainbow.
Double-activating of the fishes with the dynamic curve and the growing distance to the card-base.

The Christian sybol of fish and the affiliation to a group of like-minded people (shoal) give the card a good statement.

for the masking: Scrap-piece of foil (Laminierfolie) /
Tattered Angels: Glimmer Mist - gold / Rico Design: Hologramm Glitter - gold /
Sakura: Quicky Glue-Pen Pinpoint Roller / Aleene's Tacky Glue /3D Pads 1mm, 2mm, 3mm /
