K1-1502 - natural thanks

Ich hab für die Online Card Class - "Crushing on Cardstock" zum Video von Cathy Zielske am Tag 1 gleich mehrere Karten mit Embossing Foldern gestaltet.
Hier kommt die letzte Embossing Folder Karte!

Das Besondere dieser Karte ist das Papier, das ich geprägt habe. Mein ältester Sohn Paul hat es vergangenes Jahr selbst hergestellt und es mir dann zu Weihnachten geschenkt.
Ich verwende es immer sehr sparsam, da es etwas so besonderes ist! 💓

I made several cards with embossing folders for the Online Card Class - Crushing on Cardstock" after I saw the video from Cathy Zielske on Day1.
This one is the last one I made for the OCC with an Embossing Folder! 

The very special thing on this card is the paper I used to emboss. My biggest son Paul made it last year and gave it to me last christmas. 

I always use it economical, cause it's something very special. 💓

Am Tag 1 der Online Card Class - "Crushing on Cardstock" hat Caly Person sich mit Papier-Weben befasst. - Ich hab eher die etwas einfacheren Web-Muster verwendet, dafür zT mit besonderren Papieren.

On Day 1 of the Online Card Class - "Crushing on Cardstock" Caly Person used paper-weaving for her cards. - I used the more simple way of weaving, but with some secial papers.

K1-829 - You spice up my life

Vor vielen Jahren hatte ich mal selbst Papier geschöpft, aber das ist echt schon ne (lange) Weile her....
Vor einiger Zeit kam nun mein großer Sohn Paul mit dem Wunsch zu mir, dass wir zusammen Papier herstellen sollen... irgendwie kamen wir aber erst mal nicht dazu... Bis jetzt!

Many years ago I dipped self-made paper, but it's been a (long) while...
Some time ago my biggest son came to me with the wish to make paper together with me... but we didn't find time immediatelly... But now!

Wir haben also die Pulpe (der "Papierbrei") hergestellt und mit viel Spaß am Experimentieren losgelegt. Einer meiner Versuche war mit frischen Thymianblättern - das Papier ist im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes "dufte" geworden!
Schon während es noch trocknete hab ich es mit EmbossingFoldern geprägt. Seitdem ich das Papier in meinem Bastelzimmer liegen habe, verströmt es einen leichten Duft nach Thymian - fasst man das Papier an oder streicht leicht darüber, wird er sogar noch stärker! Lecker!

So we made the pulp and started with lots of fun in our experiment. The one thing I tried was to create paper with fresh herbal leaves - this thyme-paper "swells" (it's so neat!)! 
While it was drying I embossed it with different folders. Since the paper is lying in my craftroom there is always a little flavorsome scent of thyme - when you touch or stroke the paper it becomes more intense! Yummy!


Mir war sofort klar, dass ich dieses Papier mit den Stempeln aus dem "Recipe for Happiness" Set von My Favorite Things kombinieren werde.
Heute kann ich euch nun diese beiden Köstlichkeiten zeigen! :-)

I knew immediatelly I want to use this paper with the stamps from the "Recipe for Happiness"-Set from My Favorite Things.

In dem Stil von gestern habe ich heute weitergemacht. Sowohl in der Material- wie auch in der Farbgebung kann man gewisse Ähnlichkeiten entdecken. Und doch sind die beiden auch wieder sehr unterschiedlich.
Es wäre toll, wenn Du mir verrätst, welche der Karten Du lieber magst! 

I worked on in the style of yesterday. Material and colors are similar although they are very different.
I would be glad when you tell me which one you like more!
