Ich kann's kaum glauben, aber ich hab mal wieder zu viele Karten in zu kurzer Zeit gemacht!

Die Inspirationen aus dem OCC Spring Card Camp machten mich super kreativ! In Kombination mit dem wechselhaften Wetter und der immer noch geltenden Empfehlung, zu hause zu bleiben, hatte ich einige sehr produktive Tage!

Ich werde versuchen, noch möglichst viele Karten zu posten, damit ich die noch in die  OCC-Galerien hochladen kann.
Aber die Posts werden erst mal nur "halbfertig" sein... die Material-Listen und einige zusätzliche Infos kommen dann später.
Bitte habt ein klein wenig Geduld - wenn ihr Fragen zu einzelnen Karten habt, schreibt bitte einen kleinen Kommentar, dann kommen die Infos da früher!

I barely can believe it, but I made too many cards in short time again!

The inspiration of the OCC Spring Card Camp made me super creative. Combined with the mixed weather of the last few days and the still valid suggestion of staying at home I had some super productive days!

I will try to post most of them, to be able to upload them to the OCC-galleries, 
But the post will be "half-done"...the supplies and some more information about every card will be updated as soon as I find time to write them. Please be a bit patient with me -  when you have questions to one of the cards, write a little comment, and I will update this post earlier!

Student-Gallery Days 11-15

Most of the time I'm inspired by the videos of the current "OCC - Spring Card Camp" right now.
This time by Dawn Woleslagle on Day 11 (but I have used tape instead of paperstripes).

This is an extra long class - started Saturday, April 11th and last until Thursday, April 30th, Wrap-Up day is Thursday, May 7th. / On every one of the 20 days you get one video with intructions and tips to create in minimum two (different) cards in almost one main working process!

K1-1158 - Driving Home Bear

Vor kurzem bat mich ein Freund, eine Geburtstagskarte für seine Frau zu entwerfen. Da das Geschenk mit dem Thema Auto zu tun hatte, hab ich das süße Bärenset "Town Bear" verwendet und damit eine knuffige Action-Karte für die liebe Anja gezaubert! :-)
Im Karten Inneren war dann noch ein Glückwunsch-Text gestempelt (den hab ich leider vergessen zu fotografieren!).

Recently a good friend asked me to create a birthday card for his wife. The gift was car-themed so I decided to use the sweet "Town Bear" stamp set to create a cute action card for my friend Anja! :-)
On the inside I stamped a birthday sentiment (but I forgot to make pics of it, sorry!).

Vom Aufbau her sind Slider-Karten ja eigentlich recht einfach: 

• Eine Szene zusammenstellen, die Hintergrund-Elemente stempeln und kolorieren. 
• Auf ein extra Stück Papier die Vordergrund-Elemente und die beweglichen Teile stempeln, kolorieren und ausschneiden.
• Den Bewegungs-Pfad festlegen und ausscheiden. Auf der Kartenbasis den dadurch sichtbaren Bereich gestalten (hier die Straße).
• Das Sliderelement montieren und es, für eine bessere Beweglichkeit, unterhalb des Hintergrund-Papiers mit einer Münze beschweren.
• Den Hintergrund mit 3D Tape auf der Kartenbasis montieren.
• Alle Vordergrund-Motive ebenfalls mit (dünnem)3D Pads aufkleben.

Gesagt - getan. Klappte auch alles gut, bis ich beim finalen Bewegungstest plötzlich feststellte, dass das Auto aufgrund meiner Art der Montage (etwa mittig zwischen Reifen und Fenster) nicht auf, sondern neben der Straße fährt! Aber da ich nicht alles nochmal auseinander reißen wollte, ist es jetzt eben ein off-road Geländewagen (oder ein SUV)! ;-)

Eines ist noch wichtig: 

Damit das Auto sich nicht um sich selbst dreht, benötigt es entweder eine ovale oder zwei nah beieinander liegende runde Abstandshalter zur Münze!

The making of a slider card is in fact really simple:

• Create a scene, stamp and colour the background elements.
• Stamp and colour all foreground  and slider elements on an extra piece of paper and cut them out.
• Decide where the slider path should be and cut it out. If necessary colour this area on the card base in fitting colours (here the road).
• Add the slider element to the background panel, for a better movement you should add a little coin underneath the panel.
• Adhere the background panel with 3D tape to the bardbase.
• Add the foreground elements also with (thin) 3D pads.

Said and done. Everything went great until I checked the movement at the end of my crafting! I just recognized the car isn't driving on, but beside the road! The reason is my way of adhering the bear on the slider elements (my fix-points are in the middle between the wheels and the window). But then I decided it's not bad enough to destroy everything I did... It's an off-road  all-terrain vehicle (or SUV) now! ;-)

On importend detail:

To avoid the car rotating or spinning around you need to fix it on the coin with an oval or with two round side by side distance-elements.

In den letzten Tagen war bei uns alles mit einer dünnen Schicht Schnee überzuckert. Es war nicht viel, aber es sieht so viel schöner aus als die trostlosen braunen Beete ohne Pflanzen.
Da kam mir das Lied "Schneeflöckchen, Weißröckchen" in den Sinn... Perfekt! dass es davon einen Text-Stempel von "Create A Smile" gibt, oder?!?
Weiße Wolken und glitzernde Flocken dazu - und fertig war die Karte!

The last few days a tiny bit of snow covered everything outside. It wasn't much snow, but enough to prettify the bleak brown beds without plants.
I got the traditional German winter song "Schneeflöckchen, Weißröckchen" in my mind. Perfect! there is a stampset from "Create A Smile" with the first line of the song!
Added some white clouds and some sparkling and shimmering flakes - and the card was finished!
 
I try to translate it... just to get you a feeling of what was my idea behind the card. But the wording is a bit old fashioned and the rhythm don't fit to the English words... so please don't wonder ;-)

"Little snowflake, little white dressed / when you will snow down /
you live in the clouds / your way is so far.

Come'n sit down at the window / you lovely star /
paint flowers and leaves / we are fond of you.

Ideen zur Karte:

Der Verschluss dieser doppelt gefalzten Karte ist die Filz-Wolke. 

Sie kann von links nach rechts unter die Sonne geschoben werden, wenn die Karte geschlossen ist. 

Beide Teile, Sonne und Wolke, bilden ein selbst-gestaltetes Verschluss-System.

Ideas behind the card:

To lock the card you can move the felt-cloud from the left side to the right, beneath the sun. Both parts, sun and cloud, are a  self-created locking-system.

Aufräumen eröffnet einem immer wieder so viele tolle neue Möglichkeiten! Yeah!
Diesmal hab ich mir die Kiste mit meinen Perlen (Rocailles, Glas-, Keramik-, Holz-Perlen), Lederbändern und all den anderen netten Sachen zum Schmuck-Basteln vorgenommen und alles in neue Sortierkästen eingeräumt...
Dabei sind mir auch diese herzförmigen Perlen zwischen die Finger gekommen. - Und die passen ganz aktuell perfect zu einer der Reihen der Tic-Tac-Toe-Challenge #5 (Beads & Gold & Rainbow).

Cleaning up offers so many new and amazing chances! Yeah!
This time I re-organized my box with beads (little Rocailles, glass-, clay-, wood-beads), leather-strings and all the other stuff to create nice jewelry. I put all the stuff into new assorting-boxes...
While I was working on this, I also found these colorful heart-bead. - They fit perfectly to one row of the current Tic-Tac-Toe-Challenge #5 (Beads & Gold & Rainbow).

Ideen zur Karte:
Für die Challenge benötigte ich Gold, das ich hier sogar gleich doppelt verwendet habe: in der Glitzernden Sonne und im heat-embossten Text (vor dem Anbringen der Herzen machen!)
Der Hintergrund ist grau und weiß - so kommen die farbigen Herzen noch deutlicher zur Geltung!
Damit der Herzens-Regenbogen nicht nur so ganz gerade verläuft brauchte ich eine Befestigung. Kleben fand ich in dem Zusammenhang nicht so toll - daher hab ich den Nylonfaden mit den Mini-Brads in geschwungener Form auf der Wolke fixiert, bevor ich diese auf die Base aufgeklebt habe. 
Die Sonne von LawnFawn hat eigentlich eine nette Stitching-Line, leider war sie bei dem Glitzer-Papier kaum zu erkennen. Da ich die Karte in gedanklich aber schon fast bei der Stempelküche #39 (Stitched!) hochgeladen hatte, brauchte ich eine andere Naht... daher sind noch die hand-gestickten (neee... sind nur gezeichnet) Linien dazugekommen.

Ideas behind the card:

I needed some gold for the challenge and I used it twice: for the sparkling sund and for the heat-embossed sentiment.

The backgroundcolors are only gray and white - so the colores of the rainbow pop out more intense!

I wanted the rainbow with a curved shape and not only as a stright line. So I needed a solution for fixing it. To glue the hearts down wasn't my favorite idea, so I decided to fix the nylon-thread with these tiny mini brads on the cloud before I fix it on the cardbase.

The LawnFawn-sun has a nice stitching-line, but it wasn't really good visible on this glitter-paper. But in my mind I was uploding this card to the Stempelküchen-Challenge #39 (Stitched!)... so I needed another seam... that's the main-reason for the hand-stitched (no... drawn) lines on the card.

Yeah! Geburtstagskarten!
Diesmal darf hoch-gelebt werden - und das auch noch drei Mal!

→ Translation for "3x hoch" = "Three cheers and a tiger!"

Ich hab versucht, die Zeit sichtbar zu machen, indem ich den kleinen Fuchs in blasser werdenden Tönen coloriert hab... aber die beiden "älteren" waren immer noch zu farbintensiv, weshalb ich sie mit einem Stück Pergament bedeckt hab.
Die Wolken stehen für etwas in der Art von "The sky is the limit" = "Alles ist möglich".

I tried to make the time visible by shading the foxy in more and more pale colors... but the two "older" ones still looked too intense, so I decided to cover them with a  piece of vellum.
The clouds symbolize something like "the sky is the limit".

Jetzt mach ich das, was Birka geraten hat, wenn man noch keine MFT-Stempel hat - ich schummle!

Wer kennt diese Zeilen von Reinhard Mey nicht!?
Wenn ich so aus dem Fenster seh und eine fast geschlossene Wolkendecke in Grautönen erblicke, dann wünsch ich mich grad auch irgendwie dorthin... zum Sonnenlicht. In real geht das ja leider nicht, aber mit Papier und Farbe schon! Das ist also der Grund, warum heute die Karte mit dem feschen kleinen Flieger entstand.

When I look through my window and can only see a dense blanket of clouds in shades of gray, I wish to be above these clouds ... and see the sunlight. In reality it doesn't work this way, but with paper and ink it does! That's the reason for today's card with this cute little plane.
