Ich hab für die Online Card Class - "Crushing on Cardstock" zum Video von Cathy Zielske am Tag 1 mehrere Karten mit Embossing Foldern gestaltet.
Hier kommt Nummer zwei!

I made several cards with embossing folders for the Online Card Class - Crushing on Cardstock" after I saw the video from Cathy Zielske on Day1.
This one is number two!

It's a bithday cad with some parts of sentiments.

The German sentiment "Potzblitz!" is a shout out to show astonishment, surprise and amazement. Think you can translate it with something like "what a surprise!" "Omg!"
"Wie die Zeit vergeht" = "How time goes by".
And on the inside "Schon wieder ein Jahr vorbei" = "One more year passed".

Für diese Karte hatte ich mit weißer Pigment Tinte auf schwarzem Papier gestempelt und dann die Blüten und Blätter in kräftigen Farben mit Buntstiften koloriert. Mit dem Glitzerstift von Sakura hab ich noch einige funkelnde Akzente auf den Blättern und Blüten gesetzt.
Der Text ist mit weißem EmbossingPulver gestaltet und noch mit dem gelben Enamel-Sticker in Herzform verziert.

Da mit weiß als Kartengrund ein zu harter Kontrast war, habe ich mich für grünen Cardstock entschieden.

For this card I stamped with white pigment ink on black paper and then coloured the flowers and leaves with crayons in luscious colours. I added some sparkling accents with the Sakura Gelly Roll pencil.
The sentiment is heat embossed in white and embellished with a tiny enamel sticker heart.
A cardbase in white would have been a strong and hard contrast, so I decided to use a green one instead.

Heute gibt es hier seit langem mal wieder eine Karte von mir zu sehen!
Bei uns in Brandenburg fing am Montag der Schulalltag wieder an - unsere Sommerferien sind um! Zeit für mich, mir nun mal wieder etwas Zeit zum Basteln und Bloggen zu nehmen!

Vor langer Zeit schon hab ich die Karte gestempelt und koloriert (noch ohne die glitzernden Elemente) und plante einen dunkelblauen Text zuzufügen... Aber das gefiel mir damals nicht und ich hab das Projekt beiseite gelegt...

Bei einer Sommer-Aufräum-Aktion in meinem Bastelzimmer hab ich die Einzelteile wieder gefunden, den ursprünglichen Plan abgeändert und diese Karte gemacht.
Ich hab noch einige andere Karten vollendet, die ich euch bald zeigen möchte!

I stamped and colored the map long time ago (without the sparkle) and planned to add a dark blue sentiment... But I didn't like the look of this first idea and put the project aside...

In a summer craft room cleaning-process I relocated the pieces, changed the primary plan and finished this card. 

There are many more I finally finished now and I will show you soon!

Ich kann's kaum glauben, aber ich hab mal wieder zu viele Karten in zu kurzer Zeit gemacht!

Die Inspirationen aus dem OCC Spring Card Camp machten mich super kreativ! In Kombination mit dem wechselhaften Wetter und der immer noch geltenden Empfehlung, zu hause zu bleiben, hatte ich einige sehr produktive Tage!

Ich werde versuchen, noch möglichst viele Karten zu posten, damit ich die noch in die  OCC-Galerien hochladen kann.
Aber die Posts werden erst mal nur "halbfertig" sein... die Material-Listen und einige zusätzliche Infos kommen dann später.
Bitte habt ein klein wenig Geduld - wenn ihr Fragen zu einzelnen Karten habt, schreibt bitte einen kleinen Kommentar, dann kommen die Infos da früher!

The inspiration of the OCC Spring Card Camp made me super creative. Combined with the mixed weather of the last few days and the still valid suggestion of staying at home I had some super productive days!

The technique I used to create this card was shown by Channin Pelletier on Day 9 of the OCC "Spring Card Camp" and it's called "Inking Stencils".
Like on the other days, the technique ended up in two cards - the secon one you'll find here.

I used the same stencil and the same critter stamp for both cards - but they look so different! - This technique really allows you to strech your materials! :-)

For the first card I inked through my stencil with Distress Oxide Inks onto smooth white cardstock - nothing fancy so far.
I cut my papers, stamped my image and sentiment and combined everything to the card you see above.

The trick Channin Pelletier showed in her video is, to use the stencil again... see, what I've done in the second post

Diese Karte hat eine besondere Faltung: die Eule, der Fuchs und der erste Teil des Textes sind auf der ganz regulären Kartenvorderseite zu sehen. Beim Öffnen der Karte sieht man dann lionks den Schneemann und rechts den zweiten Teil des Spruchs. Der Schneemann kann als Verlängerung des Front-Bildes nach vorne geklappt werden.
Übersetzung des englischen Texts: "It's your day enjoy" = "Es ist dein Tag, genieße ihn" und "always believe something wonderful is about to happen" = "glaube immer daran, dass etwas wundervolles passieren wird".

This card has a special folding: the owl, the fox and the firt sentiment are on the usual cardfront, when you open the card, you see the snowman on the left and a second sentiment on the right. The flap with the snowman is about half of the card size. The snowman can be flapped over as extension of the front.

This little bear is cycling untiringly to deliver "Happy Mail" - on the inside of the card you'll find a little envelope with an out-drawable birthday message!

There were only 4 steps to create this card.

• Heart background:
  I added embossing ink through a scattered heart stencil on an intense red cardstock and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.
  Then I added white pigment ink all over the paper and whiped the embossed hearts clean afterwards.
• Bear and envelopes:
  I stamped the images, coloured them with Copic Markers (used shades 0-5 of the grey C and W markers, E40, E51 and R59) and fussycut them out.
  All of the heart-envelopes got a touch of glimmer and a red heart with glossy accents on top.
• The bear is adhered flat and the little envelopes with thin dimensional pads on the front layer.
• Front-sentiment
  I stamped and fussycut the sentiment, then added some shape-fitting enamel stickers in dark grey and adhered it with thin dimensional pads on the front layer.
• DieCut Envelopes:
  * For the frontside I die cut the envelope, glued it together, covered the area with glimmer, added the red heart back in the opening and put some Glossy Accents on it. It's also adhered to the card with dimensional pads.
  * For the inside I die cut another little envelope and put a paper with a bithday sentiment in. You can draw the  paper out with the adhered twine to read the message. The paper stops at the end of the birthday sentiment, you can't take it completely out of the envelope (visible on the picture above).

K1-1173 - Glück gehabt

Heute hab ich ein "Glück gehabt" Kärchen gebastelt!
Bekommen hat es mein Sohn Vincent (10,5), der am gestrigen Samstag nach einem kleinen Verkehrsunfall zur Beobachtung für zwei Tage ins Krankenhaus "durfte".
Zum Glück ist bei dem Unfall kein großer Schaden entstanden! Nur eine Schürfwunde am Arm, ein kaputtes Pedal, ein demolierter Stoßfänger am Auto! Und dazu ein Schreck für alle Beteiligten - hoffentlich ein lehrreicher Schreck für mein Draufgänger-Kind!

Anmerkung:
Er hatte seinen Fahrradhelm auf und war anschließend fast etwas stolz, dass er von den Polizisten, dem Team vom Krankenwagen, den Ärzten und dem Pflegepersonal dafür gelobt wurde! 😊 Die sehen oft genug helm-lose Folgen! 😢
Wenn ihr Kinder habt, erzählt ihnen von Vincent und seinem Unfall. Achtet drauf, dass sie ihre Helme tragen! Auch wenn sie oft meinen, ein Helm sei nicht "cool"! Es könnte ihre Leben retten!

Was da im Einzelnen passiert ist, warum er die Kontrolle über das Rad verloren hat,... einiges lässt sich jetzt nur schwer herausfinden! Aber sicher ist, dass er großes Glück hatte!
Dank an den Autofahrer, der nur die erlaubten 30 km/h gefahren ist und dann auch noch abgebremst hat! (Der Zustand unserer Dorfstraße ist der einzige Grund, warum ich mich auf die anstehenden mehr-monatigen Sperrungen in der ganzen Umgebung hier freue!)

Today I made a "Lucky you" card
It's for my son Vincent (10,5), who is in hospital for two days of supervision after a bike-accident on Saturday.
I'm so happy and thankful it was only a small accident, no big damages! An abrasion near his elbow, a broken pedal and a hole in the front bumper face bar of the involved car! And the scare for all participiants - I hope a salutary scare for my little fearnought-kid!

Notice:
He was wearing his cycle helmet and was proud earning kudos from the policemen, the ambulancemen and the docs and  caregivers in hospital! 😊 They see way too often the results of helmet-free cycling! 😢
If you have kids, tell them about Vincent and his accident. Take care they use their helmets! Although they often think it's not "cool" to wear it! It may save their lives!

Die Zutatenliste für diese Karte ist recht kurz. Und gemacht war die auch halbwegs zügig - nichts Spektakuläres. 
Die Enamel-Sticker hab ich als Symbolik für "Schaden am Rad" verwendet.

The list of ingredients for this card is short. And it was done quickly - nothing fancy.
I used the enamel stickers as a symbol for the "demages on the bicycle".
