K1-901 - Expecting

Kennt ihr das auch: man bastelt für einen lieben Menschen noch hurtig ein Kärtchen, bekommt es sogar vor dem Verschenken noch fotografiert. 

Vielleicht schafft man es sogar auch noch, die Bilder zu bearbeiten (zuschneiden, Logo einfügen,...)

Doch dann postet man die Karte aber nicht direkt danach und die Bilder gehen irgendwo in den Tiefen des PC-Nirvanas verschütt? 🙈

Habe beim PC-aufräumen einige Ordner mit noch ungeposteten Karten gefunden...!😍

Bisher kennen sie nur die Empfänger... und die meisten davon sind keine Bastler, daher denke ich, es dürfte kaum jemanden stören, dass sie bereits vor einiger Zeit entstanden sind... 😉 Hier im Blog sind sie ja noch neu!

Die heutige entstand, als ich erfuhr, dass eine Freundin mit ihrem zweiten Kind schwanger war... Die kleine Greta hat kürzlich ihren dritten Geburtstag gefeiert! 🙈 😋

Do you know the situation: you make a card for a beloved one, you actually make some pictures before you send the card out.

Maybe you find time to edit the pictures (size, add logo,...)

But then you don't post the card not imediatelly on your blog and the pictures get lost in the deep of the computer-nirvana? 🙈

I cleaned up some PC areas and found some folders with unposted cards...! 😍

Only the recipients know them right now... and most of them aren't crafters. So I think, nobody will be bothered cause they are made a while ago... 😉 Here on the Blog they are new!

The card of today I made when I heard of the second pregnancy of a friend... The little Greta celebrated her third birthday some weeks ago! 🙈 😋

Über die Karte:
Der Hintergrund besteht hier aus einem speziellen Designpapier von Stampin'Up in weiß, mit glossy Mustern drauf. Ich habe mit Blending Tools verschiedene Distress Ink-Grüntöne aufgetragen, um ein gewisses "Baum-Feeling" zu bekommen, das zu meinen Vogel-Motiven passt.
Die Vögelchen von Simon Says Stamp erklären sich von selbst. Ich find den Mama-Vogel mit dem Bauchnabel immer noch witzig! Ich hab sie ganz einfach mit Copics koloriert - nur einige Schatten an den tiefer liegenden Bereichen angedeutet und die Schnäbel gelb/orange gefärbt. 

Das Ei wurde noch mit Glossy Accents überzogen, um ihm eine gewisse Dimension zu verleihen.

About this card:

The background is made with a special Designpaper of Stampin'Up in white with glossy patterns on it. I coloured it with my blending tool and some Distress Ink-greens to get a bit "tree-feeling" for my bird critters.

The birds of Simon Says Stamp talk for themselves. I still like the Mama bird with the belly butten, it is so cute! I simply coloured them with Copics - just added some shadown in the lower areas and made the beaks yellow/orange.

To give the egg a bit of dimension I added some Glossy Accents to it.

K1-1087 - Gute Reise

Heute gibt es hier seit langem mal wieder eine Karte von mir zu sehen!
Bei uns in Brandenburg fing am Montag der Schulalltag wieder an - unsere Sommerferien sind um! Zeit für mich, mir nun mal wieder etwas Zeit zum Basteln und Bloggen zu nehmen!

Allen, die nun noch Reisen wollen und können, wünsche ich eine gute Reise und einen schönen Urlaub!

Last monday was the first day of school in our federal state of Brandenburg - the summer vacations are over! Time for me to get some free time for crafting and blogging again!

Vor langer Zeit schon hab ich die Karte gestempelt und koloriert (noch ohne die glitzernden Elemente) und plante einen dunkelblauen Text zuzufügen... Aber das gefiel mir damals nicht und ich hab das Projekt beiseite gelegt...

Bei einer Sommer-Aufräum-Aktion in meinem Bastelzimmer hab ich die Einzelteile wieder gefunden, den ursprünglichen Plan abgeändert und diese Karte gemacht.
Ich hab noch einige andere Karten vollendet, die ich euch bald zeigen möchte!

I stamped and colored the map long time ago (without the sparkle) and planned to add a dark blue sentiment... But I didn't like the look of this first idea and put the project aside...

In a summer craft room cleaning-process I relocated the pieces, changed the primary plan and finished this card. 

There are many more I finally finished now and I will show you soon!

K1-1011 - Christmas Tree with Brads

Heute ist es wieder Zeit für einen neuen Brand Ambassador Beitrag auf dem Uniko Blog.
Daher seht ihr dort eine weitere Karte für meine kleine "Christmas in..."-Serie!

Für diese Karte hab ich eine ganz einfache Masking-Technik verwendet - mit Tape ein Dreieck abgeklebt, die Distress Ink Farben direkt mit den (kleinen) Kissen aufgetragen und anschließend mit einem Aqua Brush vermalt. Während die Farben trockneten hab ich aus dem Glitzerpapier Kreise ausgestanzt und die Kartenbasis an den Rändern mit WashiTape beklebt.
Nach dem Entfernen des MaskingTapes die Umrisse des Baumes mit dem Glitzer-Pinselstift verziert, den Text mit der Distress Ink gestempelt und anschließend mit dem Glitzer-Stift nachgezogen.
Die Kreise mit Hilfe der Brads auf dem Baum fixiert, dabei die Farben auf die Farben des Baums abgestimmt. 

Abschließend hab ich den Layer mit 3D-Tape auf die Kartenbasis geklebt.

For this card I used a simple masking technique - masked a triangle with tape, added the Distress Inks directly with the (small) pads and blended them with an Aqua Brush. While the colours dried, I punched out the little circles of the sparkling paper and decorated the cardbase edges with the WashiTape.
After the removal of the MaskingTape I decorated the edges with the sparkling brush. Stamped the sentiment with Distress Ink and traced the lines with the sparkling pencil. 
Then I fixed the circles with the help of the brads on the tree, using colours that fit to the colours of the tree. 

To finish the card I added the layer to the cardbase with dimensional tape.

Heute findet ihr auf dem Uniko-Blog einen neuen BrandAmbassador-Post von mir.
Diesmal hab ich als Thema "Christmas in May" gewählt.

Für den Post habe ich die Verfügbare Schneeflocken Stanze verwendet, ich hab aber noch eine Karte mit der nicht mehr erhältlichen Stanze gemacht. Dafür hab ich die mittlere Größe des 3er-Sets verwendet.

Die Herstellung des Regenbogen-Papiers hab ich hier beschrieben.
Dieses Mal verlief das Aufkleben der Buchstaben (und des Layers) ohne weitere Probleme.
Ergänzt hab ich diese farbenfrohe  Fläche noch mit dem Teilspruch "steht dir gut", den ich aus einem komplexeren Spruch ausgeschnitten und mit schwarzem Papier unterlegt hab.

I completet the colorful surface with a cut out of a complexe Sentiment, which I matted with a black paper.

Für die beiden Karten hab ich auf ein Stück Imagine Mixed-Media Paper Distress Oxide Inks mit dem Blending Tool aufgetragen. Anschließend hab ich auf der ganzen Fläche eine klare, irisierende EmbossingPaste verstrichen.
Nach dem vollständigen (!!!) Trocknen hab ich mit den Stanz-Buchstaben von Create A Smile das Wort "Lächeln" ausgestanzt.

Von da an wurden zwei Karten daraus! 
Die dünnen outline-Buchstaben hab ich aufgeklebt, aber aufgrund der schmalen Linien, war an einigen Stellen Kleber sichtbar... Das gefiel mir nicht, darum hab ich den ganzen Bereich nochmals mit der irisierenden Paste überzogen.

Perfekt kaschiert und nun hält alles bombig fest!
Den schwarz gestempelten Banner hab ich zum Abschluß noch mit 3D Pads oberhalb des bunten "Lächeln" aufgeklebt.

For these cards I applied Distress Oxide Inks with a blending tool on Imagine Mixed Media paper. Then I covered the area with a clear iridescent Embossing Paste.
Afer everything was completely (!!!) dry I die cut the Word "Lächeln" = Smile with the Letter dies from Create A Smile.

Then it turned out to two cards!
I adhered the thin outline-letters, but cause of the thin lines the glue was visible at some points... I didn't like this, so I covered the area with the iridescend paste again.

Perfectly coated and now everything is absolutly fixed!
The black stamped banner I adhered with 3D pads above the colorful Smile.

Das kleine StempelSet "Hey Lady" von LawnFawn hat am Tag darauf gleich noch einen zweiten Einsatz bekommen! 
Diesmal mit einem selbst-erdachten Aktions-Mechanismus!
(Zumindest hab ich ihn zuvor noch nirgendwo gesehen... wenn ihr jemanden kennt, der das so schon verwendet hat, lasst es mich bitte wissen, damit ich es korrigieren kann!)

This time with an self-conceived action-mechanism!
(At least I havn't seen it somewhere before... if you know someone else used it, please tell me, so I can  correct the information!)

Ich hab mir diesen Mechanismus für die Karte ausgedacht, da ich so einer coolen Materialvorlage (der Lupe) einfach nicht widerstehen konnte!
Mein kleiner Milo (wird im Sommer 5 Jahre alt) ist zur Zeit ganz viel auf Entdecker-Tour und findet vor allem Tiere toll. Diverse Lupen kommen hier zum Einsatz - eine große, die fast so aussieht wie die auf der Karte, eine Becherlupe oder sogar eine elektronische Lupe, die man mit dem Smartphone kombiniert (die gehört Vincent, 13,5). Wir haben hier lauter kleine Natur-Forscher!

Der Mechanismus ist eigentlich recht einfach... er besteht aus zwei durchsichtigen Folienstücken, einer Metallklammer und einer Papier-Ebene mit einem Loch.

I invented this mechanism for the card, cause I couldn't resist with this cool supply submission (the loupe)!
My little son Milo (he'll be 5 years in summer) is on discovering journey almost every day and he loves little animals. Several loupes are used here - a big, similar to the one on the card, a smaller cup-loupe (with a lid on top) and also an electronic one which is used in combination with a smartphone (it's Vincent's, 13,5).

We have many little nature scientists here!

The mechanism is really simple... I used two pieces of clear acetat foil, a brad and a paper-layer with an open space.

K1-1463 - Little Things

Endlich ist es etwas wärmer, stürmt nicht mehr und regnet auch nicht dauernd! War daher die letzten Tage im Garten und hab ein Beet umgegraben und neu bepflanzt, das es ganz dringend nötig hatte! 

Im Beet hab ich verschiedenste Tierchen und Puppen-Kokons gesichtet, es flogen emsige Insekten vorbei und die Vögel zwitscherten. Das war so friedlich und so schön! 

Und dann haben mich an meinem Basteltisch zwei Stempel-Sets von LawnFawn mit den kleinen Tierchen angelacht... 

Die liegen schon seit dem Kauf vor einigen Wochen da, da ich sie immer noch nicht verwendet hatte - welche Schande!

Finally the temperatures went up a bit, and it's less stormy and rainy outside! I was in my garden during the last few days and dig and replant a flowerbed wich was so in need of some care! 

In the bed I found several little animals and chrysalis cocoons, busy insects flew around, the birds twittered. Was a very peaceful and beautiful atmosphere! 

And on my desk I saw two stamps sets from LawnFawn with little insects...

They were laying around there since I bought them several weeks ago, cause I still hadn't used them - such a shame!

Ich hab noch eine weitere Karte mit dem Stempel-Set gemacht:

K1-1464 - Käfer-Lupe/Bug-loupe

Ich hab den Kartenrand mit Masking Tape abgeklebt, die Äste und Blätter mit Distress Oxide Inks gestempelt und die Farben dann direkt mit einem feuchten Pinsel vermalt.
Alle Insekten und die Puppen hab ich mit schwarzer Tinte gestempelt, dabei die beiden Marienkäfer auf einem extra-Blatt platziert. Die Puppen sind mit den Oxide Inks und die vier Tiere mit Stabilo Markern coloriert und anschließend 3 davon mit Glossy Accents überzogen.
Dann den Text schwarz embosst und zuletzt noch die beiden ausgestanzten Marienkäfer platziert - den glänzenden auf der Außenseite mit 3D-Pad, den matten innen flach.

I masked off the edge of the card with some masking tape, then stamped the branches and the leaves with Distress Oxide Inks and directly colored these pieces with a moist brush.
All insects were stamped in black ink, the ladybugs on an extra piece of paper. The cocoons were coloured with Oxide Inks, the four animals with Stabilo Markers, then I added Glossy Accents to three of them.
The sentiment is heat embossed in black, punched out the two ladybugs and added them - the glossy one on the outside with a 3D-pad, the matte one flat on the inside of the card.
