Jetzt gibt's noch eine Karte, die ich schon längst an jemand ganz besonderen verschenkt habe, die aber den Weg auf den Blog bisher nicht gefunden hatte...
Die Karte weckt Erinnerungen an viele schöne Momente! Nun kann ich glatt nochmal Danke dafür sagen! :-)

Now I have a card for you which I gave to a very special person long time ago, but it hasn't found the way here to the blog yet...
It gave me lots of nice moments to remember! So I can say thank you a second time now! :-)

Über die Karte:
Die Pflanzen / Blüten sind in schwarz gestempelt und anschließend mit Markern und dem dazu passenden Spritzer Tool (von Tim Holtz) koloriert. Die Farbe auf den Blättern und Blüten hab ich anschließend noch mit einem feuchten Pinsel vermalt, so dass die Sprenkel sich nur außerhalb befinden.
Der Text ist in weiß auf schwarzes Papier embossed und mit 1 mm 3D-Tape auf der Karte befestigt.

About this card:

The plants / flowers were stamped with black ink and then coloured with markers and the fitting spritzer tool (from Tim Holtz). Then I spread the colours in the leaves and flowers with a wet brush, so the platters are only outside of them.
The sentiment is heat embossed in white onto black cardstock and fixed on the cardbase with 1mm foam tape.

Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob sich singende Hunde besser anhören, als singende Karten... Dieser hier kommt wohl eher nach seiner Verwandtschaft Wolf!

I'm not sure if a singing dog sounds better than a singing cat... But this guy here seems to be more like its kinfolks of wolf!

Wenn man mit einem Krabbelkind nur wenig Zeit findet, mal etwas am Stück fertig zu bekommen, was bietet sich dann besser an, als etwas Angefangenes endlich mal zu vollenden?
Also - ran an die Kiste mit den halbfertigen Sachen!

So entstanden jetzt einige neue Karten und vor allem auch endlich mal noch einige Blogbeiträge zu Karten, die ich schon fertig, aber noch nicht gepostet hatte!

When you're at home with a toddler, you can't find lots of time to create something from beginning to end without several interruptions. So isn't it an easier way to finish some unfinished stuff right now? Yes it is!
I took my unfinished box with lots of selfmade background papers and used some of them! And I wrote some blogposts for cards I finished some time ago but hadn't posted them yet!

Irgendwo gibt's ja immer was zu feiern! Geburtstage zum Beispiel! Und dazu passt buntes Konfetti perfekt, oder?

There is always something you can celebrate. For examples birthdays! Colourful confetti fits perfectly to any party, right?

Über die Karte:
Der Hintergrund ist mit Schablone und den Glitzerklebern gestaltet. Dabei die Farben in einer Art kreisförmigem Regenbogen ineinander übergehen lassen. Nach dem Trocknen auf Größe der Kartenbasis zuschneiden. Zusätzlich einen langen Streifen Papier vorbereiten, auf den dann der Streifen mit dem Text gestempelt wird. Ich empfehle hier die Verwendung eines Stamping-Tools, um problemlos mehrmals an die selbe Stelle stempeln zu können, damit das Schwarz auch wirklich komplett schwarz ist!

About this card:

The background is created with the stencil and the glitter glues. The different colours are blended in a kind of circular rainbow. After everything is dried you cut the paper fitting to the size of the cardbase. Cut a paper to create the sentiment strip. I recommend to use a stamping tool , so you can re-ink the stamp if necessary to get a dark and crisp strip!

Über die Karte:
Ich hab diese Kartte nur in gold und schwarz gearbeitet. Goldene Metallic-Farbe für den Hintergrund, goldener Rollerstift für einige weitere Aktente und für die Bienen-Flügel noch transparenten Glimmer.
Alles ausgeschnippelt und mit 3D Pads auf die Karte gebracht.

About this card:

I made this card only with gold and black. Golden metallic colour for the background, golden Gelly Roll for some more accents and some clear gimmer for the bee wings.

Then I fussycut all elements and adhered them with 3D pads on the card.

Über die Karte:
Karten im CAS-Style mit Embossing-Pasten sind oft eher schwierig, aber mit weißer Paste durchaus machbar!
Ich hab für den Hintergrund die Schmetterlinge mit einer matten, weißen Paste gestaltet. Während der Trocknungszeit hab ich mit der selben Stencil noch zwei Schmetterlinge und dazu das Spruchband mit DistressInks und klarem Embossing Pulver gemacht. Dann hab ich alles ausgeschnitten und mit einigen roten Pailletten zusammen den weißen Schmetterlingen zugefügt.

Der Grund, warum ich nicht mit rotem EmbossingPulver gearbeitet habe ist einfach: ich bekomm die Simply Said Blocks damit nicht ordentlich lesbar hin (auch mit den super fine powders nicht)!
Da Distress Inks einen kurzen Moment zum Trocknen brauchen, kann man sie wunderbar mit transparentem Embossing-Pulver kombinieren...
Mit diesem Kniff erhält man fast das selbe Ergebnis wie mit farbigen Embossing Pulvern und hat sogar noch den Vorteil der großen Farbauswahl!

About this card:

Cards in a CAS-style are sometimes hard to create with embossing-pastes, but it works fine with white paste!
I created my background with a matte, white paste. While this was drying, I made two more butterflies with the same stencil but with Distress Inks and clear embossing powder. The same I used for my sentiment-strip. After fussycutting all pieces I adhered them together with some red sequins onto the white butterflies.

The reason why I havn't used red embossing powder is really simple: I always have problems to get crisp images with the Simply Said Blocks and Embossing Powders (also with the super fine powders)!
Distress Inks stay a little moment wet after stamping - perfect for the combination with clear embossing powder...
With this trick you get almost the same results than with colour embossing powders and you have the benefit of the great colour selection!

Ab heute gibt es wieder neue Stencils bei Uniko!
Hier möchte ich euch das Mandala zusammen mit einer Technik-Kombination zeigen - Ink Blending und Embossing mit der selben Schablone!

First I want to show you the Mandala in a double-technique: ink blending and  dry embossing with the same stencil!

 but when you touch it, it's fabulous!

Über die Karte:
Zuerst hab ich die Stencil zusammen mit einer Silikon-Platte durch meine Cuttlebug Maschine gegeben, um das Muster der Stencil aufs Papier zu übertragen. Dabei nicht vergessen, die Stencil mit Maler Tape zu fixieren, damit nicht verrutscht! Anschließend hab ich vorsichtig (ohne zu großen Druck!) die Farben mit einem Blending Tool aufgetragen.
Vermutlich kann man die Reihenfolge auch tauschen, aber da sollte man dann zwischendurch die Stencil reinigen und sie anschließend erneut fixieren - das war der Grund, warum ich das Mandala erst geprägt und dann eingefärbt habe!
Als Text hab ich mich für ein simples "hello" in Form einer mehrschichtigen Stanzung entschieden und hier dann den schmaleren Schriftzug noch mit Glitzer verziert.

About this card:
IFirst I put the stencil together with a silicone matte through my Cuttlebug machine to impress the pattern of the stencil into my paper. Don't forget to fix the stencil with painters tape  to avoid it sliding around! After this I softly (with less pressure!) added colous with a blending tool.
I think it's also possible to change the steps, but then you have to clean and re-fix the stencil before you emboss with it - that was the reason why I first embossed and then coloured they mandala.
As sentiment I used a simple "hello", created with a layered diecut where I decorated the finer lettering with some glitter.

Bin wieder da! / I'm back here!

Hallo ihr Lieben!
Nach einer längeren Bastel- und Blogger-Pause bin ich jetzt wieder da! Wir hatten hier in Haus und Garten einige Arbeiten zu bewältigen und nebenbei noch merere große Feste mit Freunden und Familie organisiert und gefeiert...
Da blieb leider das Bloggen etwas auf der Strecke - aber gebastelt hab ich zwischendurch immer mal wieder und daher kann ich euch in der kommenden Zeit einiges zeigen, was in den letzten Wochen entstanden ist!

Über die Karte:
Für den Hintergrund hab ich eine durchsichtige und irisierende Embossingpaste mit einem Tröpfchen roter Tinte gemischt und mit meiner Scattered Polka Dots-Stencil von Uniko benutzt.
Bei den Rosen hab ich nur die Umrisse gestempelt und mit Copics nur einige Schatten im inneren Blütenbereich platziert, um die Blüte etwas plastischer wirken zu lassen. Anschließend die kompletten Blüten mit Wink of Stella beglimmert. Die Blätter sind mit Stabilo Markern koloriert.

About this card:
For the background I mixed a tranlucent and iridescent embossing paste with a drop of red reinker and used it with my Scattered Polka Dots-Stencil from Uniko.
I stamped only the outlines of the roses and used a minimum of Copic colourinf to get some light shadows in the inner area of the blooms for a dimensional look. Then I covered the whole flowers with Wink of Stella. The leaves are coloured with Stabilo Markers.
