K1-1064 - aus dem Hut gezaubert

Eigentlich war mal wieder alles anders geplant... Wer es nicht schon kennt - Willkommen in meinem chaotischen Leben! ;-) 
Diese Karte hab ich eignetlich für meinen GastDesigner-Beitrag für die aktuelle Challenge bei Create A Smile gemacht. (Zur Erinnerung: ich wurde mit dieser Leuchtturm / Lighthouse Karte als Featured Artist nominiert und erhielt damit die tolle Gelegenheit, GD zu sein.)

Doch dann hat mich vergangene Woche ein fieser Virus erwischt und mich für fast 10 Tage komplett ausgeknipst! Die Karte war zwar fertig, aber ich hatte sie noch nicht eingeschickt und so hab ich die Deadline leider verpasst... 😕

Aber die Mädels von Create A Smile sind super und ich habe einen GD-Platz angeboten bekommen! Bald! Danke! Ihr dürft also gespannt bleiben, denn seid euch sicher, ich werd mich dann als extra-Dankeschön mächtig ins Zeug legen und was schönes für euch zaubern! 😉

Everything was planned, but then reality happened... If you don't know it yet - Welcome to my chaotic life! ;-) 
I actually made this card for my GuestDesigner Spot in the current Create A Smile Challenge. (A quick reminder: I was nominated as Featured Artist with this Leuchtturm / Lighthouse card and got the great opportunity to be GD). 

Then I got caught by a nasty virus which knocked me out completly for about 10 days! The card was finished but not send to the coordinator yet and so I missed the deadline... 😕

But the ladies of Create A Smile are wonderful and offered me a new GD-spot! Soon! Thank You! Stay excited and be sure I will do my very best to show my appreciation! 😉

Heute will ich euch eine Karte zeigen, auf der ein kleiner Hund wie ein großer Wolf den glitzernden Mond anheult (oder ansingt?)!

Today I wanna show you a card with a cute little dog who is howling (or singing?) to the sparkling moon like a big wolf!

Über die Karte:
Hier kamen unterschiedlichste Schneidetechniken zum Einsatz: meine Fiskars SureCut Schneidemaschine, die Cuttlebug und eine Stanze, Punches und auch noch FussyCut (von Hand geschnitten).
Koloriert hab ich diesmal wieder mit Aquarell-Buntstiften und einem Wassertank-Pinsel.

About this card:
I used different ways to cut my papers: tghe Fiskars SureCut cutting machine, the Cuttlebug and some dies, punches and also some FussyCutting.
I coloured the dog with watercolor pencils and the help of an AquaBrush.

K1-862 - slim LED-Halloween Card

Wer hat gesagt, dass LED-Karten immer dick und klobig sein müssen?
Meine allerneuste LED-Karte misst in ihrer Dicke nur 0,25 cm! Und sie hat einen Schalter! Der verhindert zum einen, dass sie bereits auf dem Postweg bei Druck von außen das Umschlaginnere erleuchtet und dann mit fast leerer Batterie ankommt und erspart einem zudem auch noch das leidige "hier dauerhaft feste drücken", wenn man die LEDs leuchten sehen will! Sie leuchtet dann ohne jede Berührung und lassen sich auch wieder ausschalten.
Klingt das perfekt? Ich finde schon... 😃

Who said, LED-cards need to be thick and bold?
My very latest LED-card is only 0,25 cm thick! And it has a switch! This switch prevent the illumination of the inside of the envelope during the mail-transport and empty batteries when the card arrives and you needn't the "press here strong" when you want to enlight the LEDs! They glow without any touch and you can switch them off again.
Sound perfect? I think so... 😃

Über die Karte:

Was man leider auf den Bildern nur sehr schwer erkennen kann: im unteren Teil der Karte hab ich den Hintergrund mit Hilfe von metallic-weißer Embossingpaste und einer distressed Dots-Stencil  gestaltet (man sieht es am rechten Rand an der unterbrochenen Linie am deutlichsten).
Ja, weiß auf weiß - der plastische & haptische Effekt wirkt leider nur, wenn man die Karte anfassen kann.... ;-)

About this card:

It's a bit hard to see: I created the background of the lower part of the card with metallic-white embossing-paste and a distressed dots-stencil (visible on the right side where the line is interrupted by the dots).
Yes, white on white - the dimensional and haptical effect is bigger when you can touch the card... ;-)

Bei der Task for Two Tuesday Challenge #70 geht es um "Kullerkarten/Slidercards" oder SpinnerCards.
Die coolen Chubby Chums von Paper Smooches sind alle sehr rundlich - daher perfekt zum herum-kullern geeignet! - Ich hab den Hund losgeschickt, damit er sich etwas austobt und Spaß und Freude verbreitet!
