K1-788 - Glücks-Mandala

Heute ist es hier mit fast 40°Cnochmal fast unerträglich heiß, und es geht ein heißer Wind, der laut den Meteorologen direkt aus der Sahara kommt... 

Ich bin viel drin geblieben, konnt mich aber nicht wirklich aufraffen, richtig kreativ zu werden... hab aber immerhin versucht, mal wieder etwas Ordnung in meinen Bastelbereich zu bekommen. Hab eine Kiste mit halbfertigen Karten und selbstgestalteten Hintergründen "gefunden" (ich denke, diese Kisten kennen die meisten von euch auch...) und entschieden, hier mal einiges in fertige Karten umzuwandeln!

Today we have temperatures around 40°C again (= 104°F / 313 K) it's HOT and we have also a hot wind, meteorogists told, it's coming directly from the Sahara Desert...

I stayed inside a lot, but wasn't really motivated to get crafty... but I tried to re-organize my space a bit and "found" some half finished cards and selfmade background papers (I think, most of us have such a box...) and I decided make some finished cards with some of these goodies!

Translation of the German sentiment "Viel Glück" = "Good luck".

The Mandala is heat embossed in white on white cardstock, then coloured with Copic Ciao Markers and Distress Inks. The sentiment is stamped on another piece of cardstock, punched out and the edge is coloured in black for a better contrast to the Mandala.
The panel is adhered flat on the black cardbase and the sentiment circle with 3D Tape. To finish the card I added some sequins.
On the inside I added a white paper for a personal message.

Ich war für eine Weile "abgetaucht". Zu viele Sachen nahmen mich in den letzten Wochen in Beschlag - Familie, Schulen, ... So dass leider kaum Zeit zum Basteln oder gar Bloggen blieb! 😢
Die Meerjungfrau auf meiner Karte taucht nun aber auf und schickt euch ganz viele Salzwasser-Küsse! 💕❤

I was absent ("plunged") for a while. There was too much stuff devoured all my time - family, schools, ... Sadly there wasn't lots of remaining time for crafting or blogging! 😢
The little mermaid on this card is showing up now and is sending many saltwater kisses to you! 💕❤

For my CAS design I used only a few supplies this time: 

• a square cardbase (10 cm / 4"),
• a directly on the card stamped sentiment,
• the stamped, Copic coloured and fussycut mermaid,
• two stripes of Washi-Tape with fish scales pattern,
• some dimesional heart stickers

Diesmal gibt's was zu feiern!
Zum Beispiel den Abschluß vom Schuljahr! Hier in Brandenburg haben wir nur noch 2,5 Wochen Schule - am 19.06. gibt's Zeugnisse und dann heißt es "Ab in die Ferien!"!!!

Schon auf dem Umschlag sitzt ein fröhlicher kleiner Frosch, auf der Karte schreit er dann ganz begeistert laut "Hurra" und klimpert mit seinen Wackelaugen!
Im Inneren der Karte hab ich noch ein "Gratulation" gestempelt.

Today we can celebrate!
For example the graduation at the end of the school year! Here in our Federal State (Brandenburg) we have only 2,5 weeks left - we will have school-report day and start of the summer vacations on 19.06.!!!
  On the envelope there is a happy little frog, it shouts a enthusiastic and loud "Hurra" (= "Hooray") and it's blinking with its googly eyes!
On the inside of the card I stamped "Gratulation" (= "congratulations")

Have you played in the current Uniko Challenge #53 yet?
It's an "Anything Goes Challenge" with the "optional Twist of Masculine".

No big problem to find a fitting project fot this twist, right? 
Fathers day was at the end of May here in Germany and will be in UK in June. (Not sure when you'll celebrate it all around the world, but you can also make a masculine birthday card....
