Ich hab noch eine weitere monochrome Osterkarte gemacht! Diesmal in leutendem GELB.
Was passt da besonders gut dazu? Genau - Küken und damit auch Federn.

Ostern rückt langsam näher... da liegt es nahe, sich ans Basteln von Osterkarten zu machen... Oder?

Über die Karte:
Heute hab ich eine Karte nur mit Produkten von Create A Smile Stamps gemacht.
Die Funky Fethers hab ich auf Vellum gestempelt, weiß embossed, auf der Rückseite mit Copic Markern koloriert und ausgeschnitten.
Das Ei ist eigentlich das Innenleben der Babyrassel aus dem Willkommen Baby Set. Ich hab es mit Oxide Inks koloriert und mit Nuvo Drops und Gelstiften verziert.
Aus den Crystal Letters hab ich  meinen Text gestempelt und dann mit Stabilo Markern die kleinen Fragmente koloriert. Um die Kristalle zum Leuchten zu bringen, hab ich sie anschließende noch mit einer Schicht Glimmer überzogen.
Jetzt waren alle Elemente fertig vorbereitet und mussten nur noch zusammengefügt werden!  Um das Federnest etwas flauschiger zu gestalten, hab ich noch einige echte, teilweise eingefärbte Federn zugefügt.

About this card:
For my new card I just used supplies from Create A Smile Stamps.
I stamped the Funky Feathers on vellum, heat embossed in white, coloured the backside witth Copic markers and fussycut them out.
The egg is actually the inside of a baby rattle out of the Welcome Baby Set. I coloured it with Oxide Inks and decorated it with Nuvo Drops and Gelly Rolls.
The sentiment is letter-stamped with the Crystal Letters and the little areas are coloured with Stabilo Markers. To make the crystals shine I added a layer of glimmer.
Now all the elements were ready and I just had to combine them on my card! To get a more fluffy nest of feathers I added some real feathers.

→ As inspirational elements of the picture I used: 

• the colourof the bed for the feathers, the egg and the letters (sorry, the bed looks more mint now, but I had the bed in my mind)  & 
• the nest of feathers as cosy bed (also with feathers inside) & 
• my egg is decorated with little dots like the bedroom wall

Heute ist Karfreitag - ihr habt also noch ein klein wenig Zeit, um eure letzten last-minute Osterkarten zu basteln!
Ihr habt keine Ostereier-Stempel? Und keine Ostereier-Stanzen? Oder gar Stencils?
Dann seid ihr bei mir genau richtig! O.K. Eier-Stanzen hab ich... aber Eier-Stencils nicht! Und trotzdem hab ich diese Karte mit einer Stencil gemacht!
Wie? Ganz einfach - indem ich bei einer ovalen Luftballon-Stencil den Puste-??? (wie heißt bitte dieses Zipfelchen offiziell?) abgeklept und dann den Ballon als Ei verwendet hab. 
Man muss sich nur zu helfen wissen...

Today it's Good Friday - so there is a tiny little bit of time to create some last-minute Easter cards!
You havn't Easter-egg-stamps? And no Easter-egg-dies in your stuff? Or maybe a stencil?
Then you're right here by my side! O.K. Egg-dies I have here... but no stencils! But I've created this stenciled card!
How I did it? Really simple - I used a oval bolloon-stencil, masked off the blowing-??? (what's the name of this little end?) and used it as an egg.
You just have to help yourself with some ideas...

Über die Karte:
Die bunten Eier sind (wie oben beschrieben) mit der neuen "Balloon Bash Stencil" von Uniko und Distress Oxide Inks gestaltet. Auch die Muster der Eier sind mit Oxide Inks und / oder Wasser gestaltet. Die Buchstaben und das weiße Ei im Vordergrund sind ausgestanzt, der Riss ist mit der Stanze nur eingeprägt, dann alles doppelt mit silver pearl Embossing Pulver überzogen und aufgeklebt. Das happy aus dem Uniko-Set "Happy Succulents" ist in schwarz gestempelt und mit klarem Embossing Pulver glasiert. (Ich wollte jede Art von Unglück mit schwarzem Pulver vermeiden - denn die geschehen ja bekanntlich immer dann, wenn man's am wenigsten brauchen kann!)

About this card:

The coloured eggs are made (like I described above) with the new "Balloon Bash Stencil" from Uniko and some Distress Oxide Inks. Also the patterns are made with Oxide Inks and / or water. The letter and the big white egg in the front are die-cut, the crack is just embossed with a crack-die, then all the pieced were double time heat embossed with silver pearl powder and adhered on the card front. The happy from the Uniko clear stamps set "happy Succulents" was stamped with black ink and covered with clear embossing powder. (I wanted to avoid every disaster with black powder - you know they always happen when you really don't need them!)

In letzter Zeit hab ich wenige One-Layer-Karten gemacht.
Beim Task for Two Tuesday #71 wurde (neben einem Sketch) nach Masking gefragt. - Ein perfekter Grund, um mal wieder eine One-Layer-Karte zu machen! Ich stecke derzeit in einer "Häschen-Laune", weswegen es nochmal eine Osterkarte geworden ist...
Vögel, Bauernhof-Tiere und One Layer - Das passten mal wieder einige Challenges perfekt zusammen! :-)

For a while I havn't crafted One-Layer-Cards very often.
The Task for Two-Challenge #71 asked for Masking (and an additional sketch). - That's a perfect reason for a One-Layer-Card! I'm still in a "Bunny-Mood", so it turned out to be an easter card again...
Birds, Farm-Animals and One-Layer. - These challenges could be combined so easily! Perfect!

K1-787 - großartige Festtage

Vor etwa einem Jahr hab ich bei einer Bastelmaterial-Bestellung ein Päckchen mit süßen kleinen Holz-Häschen geschenkt bekommen. Damals kam ich leider nicht mehr dazu, etwas mit ihnen zu machen...
Jetzt ist die Karnevals-Zeit um und es ist an der Zeit, einige Oster-Karten zu machen!
Als mit beim Aufräumen letzte Woche die kleinen Kerlchen zwischen die Finger kamen, hab ich sie gleich auf meinem Basteltisch platziert (damit ich sie nicht noch vergesse!). Und wie ein gutes Omen fragten nun Addicted to CAS in ihrer Challenge #105 nach Holz. :-) Klar, dass ich daran teilnehme!
Die restliche Farbgestaltung kam von der Global Design Project #76 Case the Designer-Challenge.
Bei Creative with Stamps #12 Ester passt das Thema mit den Hasen ja eh perfect.
Und bei einer Alles Geht-Challenge, wie sie gerade bei Addicted to Stamps & More #231 sowieso.

About one year ago I got a package of cute little wooden easter-bunnies as gift to on craft-supplies-order. But I couldn't find time to craft with them...
Carnival-time is over now and it's time to make some easter-cards! When I cleaned up last week I re-found them and put the little guys directly onto my table (to stay focused on them!). And like a good omen, Addicted to CAS asked in their challenge #105 for wood. :-) Sure I take part there with them!
The color-combination I took from the Global Design Project #76 Case the Designer-Challenge.
Creative with Stamps #12 Ester fits perfect with the rabbits.
And for an Anything Goes-Challenge like the one at Addicted to Stamps & More #231 for sure too.
