K1-1634 - Sparkling Snowflake / Uniko Intro-Day #3-2

In meiner zweiten Karte habe ich die "Large Snowflake #2" als Stencil verwendet.
Zuerst habe ich mit einem klaren Glitzer-Gelstift die Konturen der Schablone nachgezeichnet und anschließend die Flocke selbst mit Hilfe eines Blending Brushes gefärbt.
Der Text stammt wieder wie der der ersten Karte aus dem Set "Christmas Wishes".
Als Abschluss habe ich das Funkeln der Flocken-Ränder aufgegriffen und den unteren Kartenrand mit einem silbernen Hologramm-Tape verziert.

In my second card I used the "Large Snowflake #2" as stencil.
First I traced all edges with a clear gelly roll pencil, then I added ink to the flake-area with a blending brush.
The sentiment is the same I used in the first card from the set "Christmas Wishes".
To finish the card I added a silver holographic tape to the bottom of the cardfront, to repeat the sparkling edge of the flake.

Für die Hintergrundgestaltung habe ich Oxide Inks in Pastelltönen verwendet.
Nachdem ich die Farben aufgetragen und mit den Blending Tools verwischt hatte, hab ich jede einzige der kleinen Herz-Öffnungen der Schablone mit einem Glitzer Gelstift nachgefahren.
Die holografischen Herzen sind mit einer Stanze von Craft Emotions aus einem Reststück Folie ausgestanzt, der Rahmen des großen aus Vellum (die restlichen Teile dieser beiden Herzen werden ihr bald auf einer an dseren Karte sehen!).
Den Pfeil hatte ich noch in einer meiner Schnipsel-Kisten... bin nicht ganz sicher, von welchem Hersteller die Stanzen waren, da das Etikett irgendwann verloren ging... 😞
Den besonderen Effekt von Embossing Pulver liebe ich immer noch! Daher hab ich den großen Textstempel in silber auf mein Papier aufgetragen, eh ich es auf meine Kartenbasis geklebt und die Karte damit fertiggestellt habe .

I used Distress Oxide Inks in pastel colours to create the background.
After I added the colours and blended them with my blending tools I traced every single heart opening of the stencil with a sparkling pencil.
The holographic hearts are dies of Craft Emotions I cut out of a scrap piece of foil and the big edge is made with Vellum (the other parts of these two heart cut outs you will see soon on another card!).
The arrow was in one of my scrap boxes... not sure, which company the die was from, I lost the lable... 😞
I still always love the special effect of embossing powder! So I added the big sentiment with silver to the paper before I glued it to the cardbase and I finished the card.

Diese Karte funkelt! 
Nicht nur, dass jeder Buchstabe des Textes mit einem GellyRoll Stift zum Funkeln gebracht wurde, sondern ich habe auch eine silberne Hologramm Folie unter dem gestalteten Bild platziert, die wie ein Rahmen hervorlugt.
Es wirkt, als wären unzählige kleine Regentropfen drauf - in Kombination mit dem neuen "Background Blocks - Rays" Stempel (=Strahlen) entsteht dann auch direkt ein farbenprächtiger Regenbogen!

Regenbögen sind Hoffnungsbringer, sie leuchten am Himmel, wenn der Regen aufhört und die Sonne wieder scheint... - gute Voraussetzungen dafür, dass der Wunsch "Hab einen wundervollen Tag" in Erfüllung geht, oder?

This card is sparcling!
Not only every Letter of the bold Sentiment got a layer with a sparkling Gelly Roll pencil, but there is also a silver hologram foil beneath the craftedpicture, placed like a frame.
It looks like there is an uncountable number of raindrops on it and in combination with the new Stamp "Background Block - Rays" a colourful rainbow develops immediatelly!

Rainbows are bearer of hope, they arise when the rain stops and the sun is shining again... - best requirement for the wish "Have a wonderful day" to come true, right?

K1-1557 - LED-Lavalampen

Seit ich diesen Lavalampen-Stempel in meinem Adventskalender ausgepackt hab, will ich mit ihm eine LED-Karte machen! Anfang Januar kam ich dann dazu. 😀
Wegen Corona musste der Empfänger bis jetzt warten, eh er sie bekam - und damit auch ihr, da ich sie nicht früher posten wollte! 
Hat zwar (da ich längere Zeit keine LED-Karten gemacht hatte) einen zweiten Anlauf gebraucht, bis die Technik samt Schalter meinen Vorstellungen entsprach, aber jetzt bin ich happy mit dem Ergebnis!

Der Clou: Nachdem man das kleine Tag herausgezogen hat (= die Sicherung gegen unbeabsichtigtes Einschalten), muss man auf die Stelle mit dem Stecker drücken. Erst dadurch leuchten dann alle drei Lampen - perfekt für Empfänger, die vor Energie regelrecht sprühen! 😉

In the moment I got this lava lamp stamp out of my advent calendar I want to ´create a LED card with it! At the beginning of January I could start the project. 😀
Ccause of Corona, the recipient had to wait until now to get it - and also you had to wait, cause I didn't want to post it before he got it! 
I needed a second try to create it (I hadn't made LED cards for a much too long time) until all techniqual stuff and also the switch worked like I planned it, but now I'm happy with the result!

The special clou: After the tag is moved out (= the protection against unwanted switch on) you need to press the place with the plug. Then all three lamps start to shine - perfect for recipients with lots of personal energy!  😉

 Bis unser Baum hier zu hause geschmückt wird, dauert es zwar noch eine Weile, aber der hier auf der Karte sieht schon mal ganz fetig aus, oder?

Many (or most?) Germans decorate their trees usually right before Christmas (23th or 24th). That's still a bit more time to wait... but the fir here on the card looks like it's finished yet, right?

Dieser kleine Fuchs hat ein wenig Lampenfieber und ist anfangs noch etwas sprach- und textlos!
Denn er soll meine erste selbst gemachte Colour-Slider-Karte präsentieren!
(Ich bleib hier mal beim englischen Namen, denn die Übersetzung "Farb-Schieber-Karte" klingt irgendwie sehr merkwürdig!)
Doch als dann die Lichter angingen, war er in seinem Element und hat von ganzem Herzen zum Geburtstag gratuliert! 💝

This little fox is a bit stage-fright so he is a bit speechless and without any text!
Cause he is the one who should show you my very first Colour-slider-card!
But when the lights were enlightened, he enjoyed his position and offered heartfeld birthday wishes! 💝

Schneeflocken sind einfach schön! Jede gilt als einzigartig, sie schimmern je nach Lichteinfall in vielen verschiedenen Farben - fast wie kleine gefrorene Regenbögen.
Nach dem Basteln der anderen Karte, die ich heute schon gezeigt habe, blieben einige schimmernde Kleinteile übrig die ich hier auf dieser CAS-Karte noch verwendet habe. Sie mögen winzig sein, geben dem Kristall aber das gewisse Etwas!

Snowflakes are simply beautiful! Every one is unique, they have a different colour shimmer depending on the incidence of light - almost like little frozen rainbows.
After I had finished the other card I've posted today there were some little leftovers. I've used them on this CAS card. The are tiny, but they are the "something special" here!

Heute  zeige ich euch eine für mich sehr ungewöhnliche Farbkombination!
Weiß ist ja nicht die einzige vorstellbare Farbe für Schneeflocken.
Für diese hier habe ich eine schillernde Folie verwendet. Nein, eigentlich ist es keine richtige Folie, auch kein Papier... eher eine Art dünnes Moosgummi mit einer schimmernden Schicht drauf. Fragt nicht, warum ich es in meinem Bastelzimmer gefunden habe, aber da sind noch weitere seltsame Stoffe, die ich sicher irgendwann mal verwenden werde... 😉
Ok, ich hab also dieses folienartige Material verwendet, um diese filigrane Schneeflocke auszustanzen. Als ich dann mit verschiedenen Papierfarben herumprobierte, fand ich diese untypische Farbkombination mit Pastelltönen und einem kleinen Schuss kräftigem Pink für die Mitte der Flocke.
Den Text hab ich dann noch in einem passenden, glitzernden Hellblau embossed.

Ich habe diese Karte bereits vor etwa einem Jahr hergestellt, sie auch zu Weihnachten 2020 bereits an eine Freundin versandt.
Bisher bot sich aber noch keine richtige Gelegenheit, sie hier auf dem Blog zu zeigen...

Today I show you a very uncommon colour combination for me!
White isn't the only imaginable colour for snowflakes.
For this one I used an iridescent foil. No, it's not a real foil and no paper... more like a kind of thin fun-foam with a layer of iridescence on top. Don't ask, why I have found it in my craftroom, but there are some more strange things to use on another day... 😉
Ok, I've used this foil-stuff to die cut the delicate snowflake. While I was testing out different colours of papers, I found this untypical combination of pastell colours with a tiny bit of pink for the middle of the flake.
The sentiment is heat embossed with a fitting sparkling light blue embossing powder to finish this card.

I made this card about one year ago and send it out to a friend for Christmas 2020.
But there wasn't a correct occasion to show it here on the blog earlier...
