Ich hab noch eine weitere monochrome Osterkarte gemacht! Diesmal in leutendem GELB.
Was passt da besonders gut dazu? Genau - Küken und damit auch Federn.

Ostern rückt langsam näher... da liegt es nahe, sich ans Basteln von Osterkarten zu machen... Oder?

Über die Karte:
Heute hab ich eine Karte nur mit Produkten von Create A Smile Stamps gemacht.
Die Funky Fethers hab ich auf Vellum gestempelt, weiß embossed, auf der Rückseite mit Copic Markern koloriert und ausgeschnitten.
Das Ei ist eigentlich das Innenleben der Babyrassel aus dem Willkommen Baby Set. Ich hab es mit Oxide Inks koloriert und mit Nuvo Drops und Gelstiften verziert.
Aus den Crystal Letters hab ich  meinen Text gestempelt und dann mit Stabilo Markern die kleinen Fragmente koloriert. Um die Kristalle zum Leuchten zu bringen, hab ich sie anschließende noch mit einer Schicht Glimmer überzogen.
Jetzt waren alle Elemente fertig vorbereitet und mussten nur noch zusammengefügt werden!  Um das Federnest etwas flauschiger zu gestalten, hab ich noch einige echte, teilweise eingefärbte Federn zugefügt.

About this card:
For my new card I just used supplies from Create A Smile Stamps.
I stamped the Funky Feathers on vellum, heat embossed in white, coloured the backside witth Copic markers and fussycut them out.
The egg is actually the inside of a baby rattle out of the Welcome Baby Set. I coloured it with Oxide Inks and decorated it with Nuvo Drops and Gelly Rolls.
The sentiment is letter-stamped with the Crystal Letters and the little areas are coloured with Stabilo Markers. To make the crystals shine I added a layer of glimmer.
Now all the elements were ready and I just had to combine them on my card! To get a more fluffy nest of feathers I added some real feathers.

inkspirational Challenge #182 - Bedroom Photo

→ As inspirational elements of the picture I used: 

• the colourof the bed for the feathers, the egg and the letters (sorry, the bed looks more mint now, but I had the bed in my mind)  & 
• the nest of feathers as cosy bed (also with feathers inside) & 
• my egg is decorated with little dots like the bedroom wall

Seit Montag läuft eine neue "Online Card Classes - Sparkle & Shine". Diesmal glitzert einfach alles!

Über die Karte:

Noch eine Karte zu der mich Kristina Werners Video am OCC-Tag-1 inspiriert hat.
Nachdem ich bei erste Karte mit dem Lidschatten auf hellem Papier ein so gutes Ergebnis erhalten hatte, wollte ich nun noch testen, wie er sich auf dunklerem Papier verhält. Fazit: die Deckkraft ist mäßig gut - man kann die Farben nicht mehr ganz deutlich ausmachen, aber immerhin noch unterschiede in den Nuancen feststellen.
Dieses Mal hatte ich aber leider ein anderes Problem: mein Klebe-Pulver wurde beim Schmelzen leider nicht ganz flach und glatt, sondern irgendwie uneben (liegt vermutlich am Papier?!) - daher wirken die Federn nun nicht ganz so, wie ich es mir gewünscht hätte... In den kommenden Tagen werde ich noch einen Versuch mit einem glatteren Papier unternehmen und euch dann berichten!

About this card:

One more card which was inspired by the OCC-Day-1 video from Kristina Werner.
After my first positive try of using eyeshadow on a white paper I now wanted to try it also on darker paper. Result:the powder covers, but you can't see the clear colors anymore... but you still can identify different color-shades.
This time I had another problem: the sticky powder didn't melt even, it was a bit bumpy (I think it was the wrong paper?!) - so the feathers doesn't look like I had planned them... I'll make another try with a smoother paper during the next days and then I'll tell you about the difference.

K1-730 - feathered love

Einig von euch wissen ja vielleicht, dass ich vor ziemlich genau einem halben Jahr zum vierten Mal Mutter geworden bin.
Da ich ziemlich ungeplant mehr als zwei Monate vor dem eigentlichen Termin in die Klinik musste und Milo dann auch 8 Wochen zu früh zur Welt kam, hatten wir hier ja einiges an Chaos...
Inzwischen hat sich das aber ja zum Glück wieder gelegt und unser Leben verläuft wieder etwas ruhiger (wenn das bei vier Kindern überhaupt geht!).

Some of you might know I gave birth to my fourth kiddo half a year ago. I had to go to hospital more than two monthes earlier and Milo was born 8 weeks previous to the calculated date -  so we had lots of  chaos here...
Now our life is cleaned up and life is going on more silent (if this is possible with four kids!).

Ich habe kürzlich beim Aufräumen meines Bastelzimmers noch einige Karten gefunden, die ich noch vor dem Krankenhaus-Aufenthalt gebastelt und die ich dann aber gar nicht mehr hier auf meinem Blog gezeigt hatte.

Über die Karte:

Als ich die Karte gemacht hab, hab ich kurz davor die "Online Card Class -  Creative Chemistry 103 von Tim Holtz" mitgemacht und die hier verwendete Technik wurde dadurch inspiriert.
Besondern gut gefällt mir immer noch die Farbkombination von Weiß mit Kraft und Türkis.

About this card:

Short time before I made this card I took part in the "Online Card Classes - Creative Chemistry 103 of Tim Holtz" and the used technique of this card is inspired by this.
I still love the color-combination of white, craft and turquoise.

Diese Karte ist eine von zweien, die ich für die "CAS on Sunday Challenge #86 - Black, White & One Color" gemacht habe. 
Am Ende hab ich mich dann aber entschieden die andere Karte einzureichen, einfach, weil sie das Challenge-Thema noch etwas deutlicher darstellt als der Traumfänger. :-) 
Was denkt ihr über meiner Entscheidung?

In the end I entered the challenge with the other one, simple cause it shows the challenge-theme a little bit better than the dreamcatcher. :-)

Ich habe zwar keine Traumfänger über meinem Bett hängen, aber dafür seit Kurzem in meinem Bastelzimmer. 
Dieses schöne Set von Wplus9 hat neben den Stempeln zum kreieren eines Traumfängers auch noch eine ganze Reihe schöner Textstempel mit dabei. Einer davon ist ein Zitat von Walt Disney: "If you can dream it you can do it" (wenn du es träumen kannst, kannst du es machen), das gleich mal mit auf diese Karte durfte. 

There is no dream catcher hanging above my bed, although I have some in my craftroom since some days ago.
This nice set from Wplus9 has stamps to create a dream catcher and additional some beautyful text stamps. One of them is a quote of Walt Disney "If you can dream it you can do it". I used it immediatelly on this card.
