Heute ist großer Tag für mich!
Denn seit heute gibt es bei Uniko ein ganz neues Stencil DesignTeam und ich bin Teil davon!!! Ist das nicht wunderbar?!
Ein ganz dickes "Dankeschön" an Beverley für, die Möglichkeit, hier mitwirken zu dürfen!
Ich freu mich total auf die Zusammenarbeit mit Sarah G, Julie und Linda im Stencil-DT und natürlich neben Beverley selbst auch allen Mitgliedern des Stemepel-DTs!
Danke an alle für die herzliche Aufnahme in die "Uniko-Familie"!

A brand new Uniko Stencil Design Team was founded and starts today and I'm part of it!!! Isn't that amazing?!

Draußen ist es (zumindest hier) oft noch kalt und grau, teilweise mit Schneeregen, aber dann und wann gibt's auch schon mal etwas Sonnenschein... Der Frühling kommt aber bald! Und mit ihm die ersten Blumen! 💚
In meinem Garten zeigen sie sich zwar noch nicht, aber sie leiten hier bei uns auf jeden Fall mit als Erste den Frühling ein: Schneeglöckchen!
Daher gibt's für den heutigen besonderen Tag ein Frühlings-Kärtchen voller Vorfreude und Hoffnung!
Outside (here in Germany) ist's still cold and grey most of the time, sometimes with a mix of snow and rain, but every now and then we also have a bit of bright sunshine... Spring is near! And also the first flowers! 💚
They are still unvisible in my garden, but they will be one of the first few signs of spring here: Snowdrops!
So I made this spring card full of joy and hope for this special day!

Über die Karte:
Um meine Idee vom erwachenden Frühling aus dem ollen Schneematsch-Winter-Grau bildlich umzusetzen, hab ich meine geliebte Hologram-Eiskristall-Embossingpaste für den unteren Teil der Karte mit grauem und für den Mittelteil mit hellblauem Reinker eingefärbt. Der obere Teil ist ungefärbt.
Die Schneeglöckchen-Blätter sind mit Stabilo Markern in satten Grüntönen koloriert. Anschließend hab ich das ganze Pflänzchen ausgeschnitten.
Da man ja auf dem embossten Hintergrund nicht stempeln kann, hab ich des Spruch auf Vellum gestempelt (Vellum ist ja halb-transparent... fast ein wenig wie Eis). Ich war mir nicht sicher, ob die Distress Ink auf dem Vellum gut hält und hab daher direkt nach dem Stempeln transparentes Embossingpulver aufgetragen - es verhindert auf jeden Fall, dass etwas verschmiert. Sicher ist sicher!
Da das unsichtbare Aufkleben von Vellum ja oft etwas knifflig ist, hab ich mich heute für den einfacheren Weg der Befestigung mit farblich und thematisch passenden Brads entschieden.
About this card:
To realize my idea of the awakening spring out of a muddy snows lush winter grey in an image, I used my beloved hologram-ice crystal embossing paste and added a little bit of reinker colour - grey for the bottom, and light blue for the middle area. the top-area is natural.
The Snowdrop leaves I coloured in bright fresh greens with Stabilo Markers. Then fussycut the whole plant.
Cause stamping on the embossed background isn't possible, I decided to use Vellum for the sentiment (ist semi-transparent... just a bit like ice). I wasn't sure if Distress Inks and Vellum are a good combination. To avoid smearing I added clear embossing powder on the ink direktly after I stamped it. Better safe than sorry!
To adhere vellum unvisible isn't easy most of the time, so I've choosen the easier way today and used color- and theme-fitting brads to fix it.
