Der Hintergrund ist mit Alcohol Inks auf Yupo "Papier" gestaltet.
Ich hab ja erst seit diesem Jahr eine kleine Auswahl an Alcohol Inks in mein Farb-Sortiment aufgenommen. Bin also noch in der Anfänger-Phase und experimentiere (teils noch etwas vorsichtig) mit diesem neuen Medium herum. Die Reaktionsbereitschaft überrascht mich immer wieder! Und die sehr individuellen Ergebnisse begeistern mich mehr und mehr!
Den Wal hab ich gestempelt und mit Copic Ciao Markern in kühlen Grau-Tönen coloriert. Er ist mit 3D Pads auf der Karte befestigt.
Das "hello" ist mehrfach ausgestanzt, aufeinander gestapelt und zum Schluß noch mit einem silbrig beglitterten Embossing-Pulver überzogen.

I finally started to buy some Alcohol Inks this year. I'm still a Newbie to this medium and I'm experimenting (sometimes a bit charily) with it. The strong responsiveness is surprising me again and again! And I'm amazed of the very individual results very often!
The whale is stamped and then coloures with cold grey Copic Ciao Markers. It's added to the card with dimensional pads.
The "hello" is diecut several times and stacked together, fianlly covered with a silver sparkling embossing powder.

K1-605 - happy Narwhale

Vor einiger Zeit hab ich mehrere Digistamps coloriert, aber nicht gleich allen ein Karten-Zuhause gegönnt. Dieser arme kleine Narwal lag daher immer noch einsam & verlassen in meinem "noch-zu-verwerkeln-Kistchen" rum...
Und weil er ja eigentlich ein ganz vergnügter Geselle ist, hab ich ihm jetzt sogar ein Kärtchen mit "Auslauf" (oder eher Bewegungsfreiheit) gemacht - auf dass er für lange Zeit da glücklich ist, viel lacht und Fröhlichkeit verbreitet! :-)

Some time ago I colored several digistamps, but not every one got a new home on a card immediatelly. This poor little narwhale was laying lonely and left-alone in my "things-to-use-soon-box"...
It's such an cute and usually happy critter, so I made a card with some "space to move" - hope it will be happy for a long time there, lough a lot and spread lightheartness! :-)

Das Basteln dieser Karte hat einfach Spaß gemacht!
Der süße Narwal ist einer von Jessas tollen Digistamp-Freebies (zu finden auf uselesstrinkets). Für sein Zuhause hab heute mal wieder die Doppelte-Embossing-Technik verwendet.
(Für mehr Technik-Infos, schaut doch bitte unter dem Tag "Emb-Combo" nach.)
Durch die Enamel-Tropfen von Create a Smile und das Hologramm-Funkeln des Ozeans wird Bewegung dargestellt.
Die Schrift ist auf zwei Papier-Ebenen verteilt (Cardbase und Ozean) - was zumindest ein klein wenig Räumlichkeit entstehen lässt.

This cute narwhale is one of Jessas fantastic Digistamp-Freebies (you'll find them on uselesstrinkets). For its home I used the Double-Embossing-Technique once more.

The enamel-drops from Create a Smile and the holographic sparcle imitate movement and activity. The letters are placed onto two layers (cardbase and ocean) - that results in a little dimensional look.

Ink Blending war die erste Technik, die in der Online Card Class "Background Check" gezeigt wurde. Laura Bassen gab einige sehr hilfreicheTipps, wie man gleichmäßige Farbschattierungen hinbekommt. Ich denke, brauche noch etwas mehr Übung, um besser zu werden. Also los!

Ink Blending was the first shown technique in the Online Card Class "Background Check". Laura Bassen explained it in her video and gave lots of helpfull tips to get an even color shading. I think I need some more practice to get better. So... let's go!

Embossing-Folder und Farben zusammen anzuwenden, das ist ja nichts Neues.

Habt ihr schon einmal daran gedacht, erst einen Embossing-Folder und anschließend Embossing-Paste zu verwenden? Oder habt ihr das schon mal irgendwo gesehen? Nein? 

Ich bis gestern auch nicht! Die Idee dazu kam mir, weil ich mal wieder viel zu viele Sachen auf meinem Tisch liegen hatte... und plötzlich war sie da! - Mir gefällt das Ergebnis !

Have you ever thought of a combination of embossing folders in a first and embossing paste in a second step? No?
Me too - until last weekend! I got the idea, cause my desk was (once more) overcrowded with lots of stuff... And in one moment the idea popped up! - I love the result!
