K1-613 - Cup of Tea

Bei dieser Karte musste ich ein wenig improvisieren...
Ich hab das Stempelset "Coffee first" von Create a Smile benutzt. Die Tassen sind großartig, aber mein "Peoblemchen" ist... ich bin ein eingefleischter TEE-Trinker... (Ich trinke nur ab und zu mal ein Glas Latte Macchiato.)
Also hab ich mich nach einem passenden Stempel umgesehen und habe nun den einen von Papertrey Ink verwendet (das Set bietet wahlweise Tee, Kaffee oder Kakao als Getränk der Wahl zum einfügen an).

Der Hintergrund ist hier mit farbloser Embossingpaste auf einem speziellen Papier mit feinem Karomuster in grau und weiß gestaltet, das man nur bekommt, wenn man bei Create a Smile Enamel Sticker kauft... :-)

For this card I needed to improvise a bit... 

The used stamp-set is "Coffee first" from Create a Smile. These cups are great, but my problem is... I'm a absolutly TEA-riffic person... (The only coffee I drink sometimes is a glass of Latte Macchiato.)
So I decided to use a sentiment-stamps of Papertrey Ink (they offer to include tea, coffee or cocoa into the text).
The background is created with translucent embossing paste onto a special piece of a tiny checked patterned paper - white gridlines on gray. You only get it, when you buy Enamel Stickers at Create a Smile... :-)

Ihr kennt ja alle diese edlen Schoko-Hasen in der Goldfolie, mit dem roten Band um den Hals und dem Glöckchen dran.... 

Solch ein Schmachofatz hat mich inspiriert, mal eine eher edle Osterkarte ohne viel Brimborium zu gestalten.

I'm not sure if these delicious Easter-chocolate-rabbits wraped into gold-foile with a small bell on a red ribbon around their necks are known all around the world... (they are produced from Lindt, see the rabbits here). 

Such a yummy critter inspired me to make a precious Easter-card without lots of embellishments.

Bei uns sieht's draußen noch nicht wirklich nach Frühling aus, aber als Bastler hat man's ja leicht: man zaubert sich die bunten Blüten einfach auf den Tisch...

Outside we havn't spring yet, but as crafters we can do magic: we are able to let some colorful flowers appear on the table...

Die Blüten hab ich auf Transparentpapier heiß embossed und dann auf der Rückseite(!) ganz einfach mit Copics coloriert... es sollte absichtlich etwas ungleichmäßig und damit lebendiger aussehen... Da das Transparentpaierdie Farben deutlich abmildert, kann man Farb-technisch in die Vollen gehen - am Ende wirkt es immer noch ganz zart und filigran!

I heat-embossed the flowers on vellum and then I colored the backside(!) with Copics in a relly easy way... I wanted an uneven  and more vibrant look...
The vellum softens the colors so you can choose really intense colors - in the end they will look erally soft and delicate!

Was für ein Glück, dass das hier nur ein "kleines" Monster ist... es konnte sich gerade noch so durch das Schlupfloch zwängen!
In kürze ist es zu groß für die Karte. ;-)
Gefunden hab ich den süßen Fratz auf Jessa Feigs Seite - Useless Trinkets - unter den "Freebies" Digi-Stamps. Da gibt's noch viele andere Gesellen - von süß bis skurril. Für die meisten der Figuren gibt es auch noch passende Texte, sowohl in deutsch als auch in englisch! Perfekt, oder?
Schaut auch mal rein!

I found this little cutie on the Blog of Jessa Feig - Useless Trinkets - in the categorie "Freebies" Digi-Stamps. There are many more other critters - from sweet to whimsical. For most of the critters there are fitting sentiments available, in German and in English! That's perfect, isn't it?

K1-611 - Time to be happy

Nach der gestrigen Regenbogen-Karte mit Perlen hab ich noch eine andere Idee zur Umsetzung der Challenge-Aufgaben bekommen. 
Hier seht ihr das (schwergewichtige) Ergebnis!
Es dauerte Stunden, bis alles durchgetrocknet war und leider haben sich die Perlen auch noch von alleine deutlich mehr in dem Lack bewegt, als ich je angenommen hätte, aber ich bin trotzdem zufrieden mit dem Ergebnis! :-)

After I finished the rainbow-card with beads yesterday I got another idea to realize the challenge-quest.
Here you can see the (heavy!) result!
It took several hours to dry and the beads moved on their own during the drying-process more than I ever expected - but I like the result! :-)

Ideen zur Karte:

Ich wollte nochmals Perlen als Regenbogen verwenden. Nicht nur eine Perle pro Farbe wie gestern, sondern mehr.

Da ich oft Glossy Accents auf Stickels gebe und weiß, dass dadurch das Glitzern noch verstärkt wird, kam mir die Idee mit dem Siegellack, denn die Perlen sind gelüstert, was so viel heißt wie dass sie einen feinen Permuttglanz haben. 

Der Siegellack ist ähnlich wie Glossy Accents, nur viel dünnflüssiger - ich arbeite daher nicht so gerne damit, weil's immer leicht verschmiert, aber für das hier war es perfekt! (Und die Flasche ist jetzt nicht mehr ganz so voll... ;-) )

Die goldenen Stickles-Punkte sollen Sonnenstrahlen oder Licht-Reflexionen andeuten, ohne die es ja schließlich keinen Regenbogen gibt!

Ideas behind the card:

I wanted to use beads again as rainbow. But not only one bead for each color, like yesterday.

I often use Glossy Accents together with Stickles, cause the starkling is much more intense then - so I got the idea with this sealing varnish, cause the beads are lustered, means they have a fine shimmer like mother of pearl.
The sealing varnish is something like Glossy Accents, but much more liquid - so I'm not always enthused to work with it, cause it's running away and smearing around - but fot this project it was perfect! (And I'm one step forward to get the bottle empty... ;-) )
The golden Stickles-points are showing sunrays or light-reflexions, cause without light there couldn't bea rainbow!

Aufräumen eröffnet einem immer wieder so viele tolle neue Möglichkeiten! Yeah!
Diesmal hab ich mir die Kiste mit meinen Perlen (Rocailles, Glas-, Keramik-, Holz-Perlen), Lederbändern und all den anderen netten Sachen zum Schmuck-Basteln vorgenommen und alles in neue Sortierkästen eingeräumt...
Dabei sind mir auch diese herzförmigen Perlen zwischen die Finger gekommen. - Und die passen ganz aktuell perfect zu einer der Reihen der Tic-Tac-Toe-Challenge #5 (Beads & Gold & Rainbow).

Cleaning up offers so many new and amazing chances! Yeah!
This time I re-organized my box with beads (little Rocailles, glass-, clay-, wood-beads), leather-strings and all the other stuff to create nice jewelry. I put all the stuff into new assorting-boxes...
While I was working on this, I also found these colorful heart-bead. - They fit perfectly to one row of the current Tic-Tac-Toe-Challenge #5 (Beads & Gold & Rainbow).

Ideen zur Karte:
Für die Challenge benötigte ich Gold, das ich hier sogar gleich doppelt verwendet habe: in der Glitzernden Sonne und im heat-embossten Text (vor dem Anbringen der Herzen machen!)
Der Hintergrund ist grau und weiß - so kommen die farbigen Herzen noch deutlicher zur Geltung!
Damit der Herzens-Regenbogen nicht nur so ganz gerade verläuft brauchte ich eine Befestigung. Kleben fand ich in dem Zusammenhang nicht so toll - daher hab ich den Nylonfaden mit den Mini-Brads in geschwungener Form auf der Wolke fixiert, bevor ich diese auf die Base aufgeklebt habe. 
Die Sonne von LawnFawn hat eigentlich eine nette Stitching-Line, leider war sie bei dem Glitzer-Papier kaum zu erkennen. Da ich die Karte in gedanklich aber schon fast bei der Stempelküche #39 (Stitched!) hochgeladen hatte, brauchte ich eine andere Naht... daher sind noch die hand-gestickten (neee... sind nur gezeichnet) Linien dazugekommen.

Ideas behind the card:

I needed some gold for the challenge and I used it twice: for the sparkling sund and for the heat-embossed sentiment.

The backgroundcolors are only gray and white - so the colores of the rainbow pop out more intense!

I wanted the rainbow with a curved shape and not only as a stright line. So I needed a solution for fixing it. To glue the hearts down wasn't my favorite idea, so I decided to fix the nylon-thread with these tiny mini brads on the cloud before I fix it on the cardbase.

The LawnFawn-sun has a nice stitching-line, but it wasn't really good visible on this glitter-paper. But in my mind I was uploding this card to the Stempelküchen-Challenge #39 (Stitched!)... so I needed another seam... that's the main-reason for the hand-stitched (no... drawn) lines on the card.
