Schnee haben wir zwar in diesem Winter bisher noch nicht gehabt, aber manchmal ist es ganz schön kalt... ideales Wetter für eine Tasse heßen Kakao, oder?

Ich hab mich ja total gefreut, als ich hier gesehen hab, dass ich bei Cards und More in der Challenge #26 Meerestiere gewonnen hatte.
Sachpreise lassen ja das BastlerHerz eh schon immer höher schlagen - und als ich dann auch noch gefragt wurde, ob ich als allererste GastDesignerin für diese Challenge mit dabei sein möchte, war ich überglücklich!
 
I was super happy seeing here I won the Cards und More Challenge #26 Sea Creatures.
A crafters heart is already jumping when there are stuff prizes involved - and when I was asked to be the very first GuestDesigner for this Challenge I was entirely happy!

In dieser hier hab ich die Farben und die weiße Tasse des Moodboards verwendet.

Übersetzung des englischen Spruchs "A cup of tea shared with a friend is happiness tasted and time well spent" = "Eine mit einem Freund geteilte Tasse Tee ist geschmecktes Glück und gut verbrachte Zeit"
(sorry für die etwas holperige Übersetzung / Redewendungen und kleine Reime find ich oft schwieriger als normale Texte...)

K1-879 - Coffee Love

Ich selbst trink ja nicht sehr oft Kaffee... bin mehr so der Teetrinker.
Aber mein Mann hat eine sehr große rote Kaffeetasse, in der er jeden Morgen seinen türkischen Kaffe macht (Kaffeepulver und heißes Wasser rein, ziehen lassen und dann direkt so trinken) - siehe Bild (die Karte hat normales A6-Format).
Für alle, die ebenso gerne Kaffee trinken wie er ist das heutige Kärtchen!

I don't drink coffee very often.... I'm more a tea-fan.
But my husband has a huge red coffee cup, where he makes his Turkish Coffe every morning (put in coffee powder and hot water, wait a short time and drink it as it is) - take a look on the pic (the card has a usual Din A6 size).
For everybody who loves coffee as much as hubby does I made this card!

Über die Karte:
Bei den dünnen Linien der Stencil war besondere Vorsicht geboten... Farbe nur sanft auftupfen, so gut wie nicht wischen, da sonst keine so klaren weißen Linien geblieben wären.
Die Herzen sind mit einer Mischung aus Oxide Ink und einer kleinen Menge Wasser mit Pinsel aufgetragen und anschließend mit Glossy Accents überzohen.
Auch bei Vellum und Heat Embossing war nochmal vorsichtiges Arbeiten nötig.

About this card:

The fine lines of this delicate stencil needed special care... the colour is dabbed softly, not really smeared cause the white lines wouldn't be white any more then.
The hearts are coloured with a mix of Oxide Ink and a tiny little bit of water with a brush and later covered with a layer of Glossy Accents.
Also the Heat Embossing on Vellum needed a carefull handling.

Diesmal durfte ein süßer, kleiner (Eis-)Bär mit Heißgetränk auf die Karte hüpfen.

This time a cute, little (polar-)bear with a cup of hot drink was allowed to hop onto the card.

Herstellung dieser Karte:
Aufgrund der Farbpaletten der "Creative with Stamps"- and "Fusion"-Challenges hab ich mich entschieden, diesen Cardstock mit der verwitterten Holz-Optik zu verwenden - ich finde, er sieh auch sehr winterlich aus. Ein Heißgetränk passt auch perfekt zu dem armen kranken Bärchen - und Rot ist schließlich die Farbe der Wärme.
Die Herstellung der Karte war super-einfach - sie war in nur sechs Schritten fertig!
* Streifen des Holz-Papiers zuschneiden.
*Aus rotem Cardstock einen Kreis ausstanzen und mit transparentem Embossingpulver überziehen.
* Den Bären ausdrucken, colorieren und von Hand ausschneiden.
* Alles zusammen auf die Cardbase kleben,
* den Text aufstempeln
* und die Karte noch mit einigen Herz-Pailletten verzieren.

Making of this card:
Based on  the color-schema of the "Creative with Stamps"- and "Fusion"-Challenges I decided to work with this weathered-wood-Cardstock - I think it looks very hibernal. A warm drink fits perfect to the sick cutie - and red is the color of warmth.
The work on the card was easy peasy - 6 steps to the finished card!
* I cut a strip of the wood-paper.
* Die-cut a red circle and heat-embossed it with clear embossing-powder. 
* Printed, colored and fussy cut the bear.
* Put everything together and adhere it to the cardbase, 
* stamped the sentiment 
* and embellished the card with some heart-sequins.

Ideen zu dieser Karte:
Wenn ein solch süßer Bär einem ein Tässchen heißen Tee entgegenstreckt, dann macht man doch gerne eine Pause, oder? Noch dazu, wenn auf der Tasse so viele Herzchen drauf sind!
Vielleicht gibt's ja noch ein paar letzte Weihnachtsplätchen dazu?

Ideas to this card:
When such a sweet little bear offers a cup of hot tea to you, you'll enjoy a break, right? Especially when the cup is covered with so many hearts!
Maybe there are some last christmas cookies?
